Good hostel with basic amenities, friendly staff who try their best even with limited English knowledge. There is a pool table in the common area that you need to pay for. Noone ever used it when I was there, maybe making it free or with voluntary contribution would make the hostel more social. Good location to explore Phuket old town

We picked these apartments because we have been away for a few weeks and wanted the flexibility that an apartment gives you over a hotel. We were two couples and picked a three bedroom apartment so that we had at least two bathrooms, we got an apartment on the top floor which had a lovey big balcony and an upstairs roof terrace that was huge, with great views and table and chairs, etc, we had breakfast up there every morning, it was great. There's a really nice swimming pool too. There was the odd thing that was a bit tired, like the handle on one of the bi-fold doors was missing a screw so was hanging off, but generally this property is of an excellent standard.

A wonderful place with beautiful recreation areas and friendly staff. Here you will take the best shots for your Instagram. The territory itself is divided into a zone with separate houses and a building zone with rooms with a common veranda. There is a large recreation area with air conditioning and TV. There is also a shared kitchen with everything you need. A fairly large swimming pool with clean water, beautiful lighting. A few disadvantages: - The rooms in the common building do not have their own kettle, safe and refrigerator - If you do not have a car or bike, the store and the beach are not within walking distance - To clean your room, you need to ask the staff, there are no signs for this, and you need to look for someone from the staff But all the disadvantages outweigh the advantages of this place. Beautiful nature around, beautiful locations of the hotel itself. The staff is very nice. The owner of this hotel is a polite person, with an excellent sense of taste. We wish him good luck in business and prosperity!

This is our third time at Kata Bai D Inn and we will surely come back. Owned and managed in person by Sam, a most gracious and kind host, his lovely wife Kee and an amazing ever smiling team some of whom have been here for 10 years! Dang, Meaow and Nee. A 5 minutes walk to an amazing beach, complementary beach towels, beach mats and even kids beach toys! Super clean Inn, Rooms and bathrooms, we can vouch for the 3 visits in 2014, 2018 and 2023, extremely well maintained. Sam is an encyclopaedia on Phuket and can give you helpful recommendations for whatever you want to do in Phuket. Commercial relations apart, in Sam and Kee we found beautiful and kind hearted friends for life. The Inn is surrounded by Cafes, Restaurants, Bars, Decent Massage places and everything you need on a holiday. In addition complementary Tea, Coffee, Toast, Butter and Jam is available in the lobby 24 hours. The rooms are air conditioned, with a refrigerator, safe, hairdryer and a super comfy bed. You can always get 5 star service for a 5 star price, but if you want to experience Homeliness, kindness and friendship, we highly recommend Kata Bai D.

The family room I booked was cozy, just like staying in a local Thai family. You have to take off your shoes and enter barefoot from the first floor, so if you mind, please consider it. The room was very clean, and the boss was very nice. It is cheaper to take the boss's own taxi than to take a taxi through the app. The water in the room is free, and if you can't finish it, you will be given new water every day according to the number of people.

We had a great time staying at the hotel. The location was just perfect! Walking distance to the beach and 30 seconds away from a 7 eleven. The only issue we had was with the booking. We had been booked into one room for two nights and then another room for the third night. We said this was fine. We were told we had to leave our luggage just in reception in the morning, so we did. However, coming back to the hotel in the evening we had been put back into the same room and our luggage had been put in our room but the door was left wide open, with our luggage in full view. Apart from this everyone was all very friendly. There wasn’t always someone on reception which sometimes made it difficult when we needed to contact someone we just had to call them. Otherwise a great trip and great location! We went to the elephant jungle sanctuary and got a bolt there and would highly recommend and spent the afternoon in Patong!

Once we arrived we hardly welcome the receptionist KOY, an antipatic person to the possible who has not even damaged to explain the necessary information as everything arrived in a hotel (wifi , Access Pool ...etc) while people next to them were welcomed as appropriate by the second receptionist. After going up to the room we notice that it is not all the one chosen on booking , she didn't even excuse herself just said she was wrong . Very disappointed it is certain that for a 5* in Thailand prices are affordable but you need to keep a minimum of professionalism anyway! See the further stay ....

The best hotel I've had in this low price range during this time of the year. Convenient checkin, friendly family, good airconditioning and shower and great location if you have a motorbike. Even the economy room with balcony was quite spacious. It's on the 3rd main street (Nanai road) of patong beach. Might be a bit far to the beach by walking (15-25 minutes). I rebooked multiple days

It’s small, and nice. Very comfortable if you don’t need much. The staff, and management are very kind. Ask them if you need your room cleaned because they don’t clean every day. They clean when you request it. I would go here again next time without hesitation. It is also on its own little street with massages and food. It’s a 10 minute walk or so to Patong beach. There is a Seven-11 on the corner that is very convenient as well. At the end of the alley is a tourist stand where you pay to get your laundry done, or just walk across the street where they have laundry machines.
