Rooftop with 360 views, Poolside, Games Room, Gym, function room . (sadly when we chevkin, pool was closed for maintenance)

I strongly recommend English comfort house if you’re looking for a good place for staying in Ipoh. Although it is not located near to the city centre of Ipoh, but you can easily access it if you’re driving. The house provides you with everything that you need. comfort beds, high speed internet, food and drinks, board games, and etc. Rachel responded promptly to questions and provided clear instructions for check in/out procedures. You will surely want to continue staying with them again next time when you are back to Ipoh.

Location was great, n quite an Instagram-able place.
Hotel was repurposed from a old n dilapidated building. Internal industrial design added character. But the cleanliness wasn't up to mark. The room also smell of dank n sewer-ish smell and time.
Overall, for a 1 night driving stop over stay, it was adequate. But anymore would not suggest.

GGuest UserIf you’re looking for a cozy place, a quiet environment, a nice lady with a happy smile who will welcome you to this tiny guesthouse, a clean and comfortable room, with the door that you have to remember to lock with a real key like in the old days, if you want to sleep surrounded by silence and be awakened by the chirping of birds, well, this is the place for you. The name itself and the interior decoration want to give a perception of old English cottage, although with a bit too many modern reproductions of old furniture. But it’s cute – and unusual. You can park the car inside – on a first come first serve basis. I was lucky to get the room at the first floor with the larger balcony. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the night silence helps having a perfect sleeping experience. They do not serve breakfast in the morning, but this is not a big issue for me. You can find places for that within a few minutes’ drive from here. That was my first experience there, just for one night. I will probably choose it again on my next trip to Ipoh.

GGuest UserIpoh Concept Services is a very basic service apartment that is linked to the Ritz Garden Hotel in Ipoh. The location is in the centre of town, but not exactly where all the famous eateries are - it’s about a 500m-800m walk away. The hotel parking is very narrow and limited, but it’s relatively well lit and safe. The room is well maintained and the water pressure in the bathroom is excellent, although the room is a little dim and more lights would have helped. There is also a couple of pubs directly behind the hotel hence you do hear loud music at night till about midnight. There is also a swimming pool and a very small gym - with no treadmill. Overall though, this was a pleasant stay for the price we paid.

GGuest UserThe look and feel of Sarang Paloh is lovely. It has an old world style which we loved. The location is also great, ten minutes from the station and close to lots of restaurants and spots in the old town.
The room has a nice style to it as does the garden you walk through. The room facilities were lacking, with no fridge and no safe which we would expect at this price point. Hot water in the shower doesn’t last long and they provide a 3 in 1 body wash, shampoo and conditioner, again something we wouldn’t expect at this price point. The hotel also doesn’t offer room cleaning. This may have been because we stayed for two nights only but this is not communicated on the website or at check in. This meant used cups or water bottles aren’t cleared nor is the rubbish bin emptied. We were also not made aware of locally available discounts for staying at the hotel.
All in all an ok stay but several small things made this not value for the money we paid.

BblablablacksheepWashroom have many baby cockroaches come out while showering🫠 also the ceiling have 🐭 running at midnight. Location and design all good but maybe it’s just an old shoplot, arrived around 5:30 and there was no one and needed to call the second num to get inside, there were 3 floors. Very hard to sleep at night with the hard mattress, been travelling to many places so far this is the first place that I hardly sleep in at all🙊 it’s good but won’t come back here anymore. The shower pump also broken and water only come out from 1 leaked corner.

DDaniela-MalaysiaWe paid 250 RM a Night for a room without a Window far away from the City centre. No Shops around to Buy water or a snack, only Workshops and garages for Miles, Next to residential Zones. The „retreat“ Faces a Wild Garbage disposal and Some wrecked Cars. Restaurants nearby close After lunch. No points of touristic interest nearby but many mosquitos around. Not Even a television in the room as advertised. The „nice Design“ consists of nothing But painted Concrete Walls. The room is Hot, tropical climate. The housekeeper is nice but doesn‘t speak English or knows the area at all. The Management was Not helpful and only Tries to lure tourists inside. Don‘t stay here, this is not worth your while or your Money and nothing But a total top-off.
