Very good , good big room , lots of things to do , great price at time of booking considering what has to offer compared to other places in the area , good breakfast not the best I save that for star convention in rayong .. Overall considering we on am island at the mercy of controlled prices was as a fair deal , stay again in a couple of days ..

My recent stay was exceptionally satisfying; I absolutely have to give it a five-star review! Starting with the facilities, the hotel boasts excellent amenities throughout. The decor is modern and elegant, and everything is fully equipped. From the bedding and lighting in the guest rooms to public areas like the gym, elevators, and hallways, everything is meticulously maintained. The attention to detail truly stands out. Hygiene was equally impressive and reassuring. The room was spotlessly clean, completely free of any strange odors. The bathroom fixtures gleamed like new, and the bedding clearly appeared to be regularly changed, which offered complete peace of mind. The public areas were also kept immaculately clean, contributing to a very comfortable atmosphere. The service, without a doubt, was the biggest highlight of my stay. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, readily answering all my questions, and both check-in and check-out processes were handled with impressive efficiency. Throughout my stay, the staff maintained a constant smile and were quick to resolve any issues, making me feel genuinely cared for. A particular instance that stood out was when I needed an extra blanket; I called, and it was delivered to my room in under five minutes. Their efficiency and positive attitude truly deserve high praise! Overall, this is an excellent hotel that ensures a comfortable, relaxing, and worry-free stay. I highly recommend it for both business travelers and families. I will definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance!

We've been coming to this hotel since it was names the Sea View. The new management has done some great things, but hopefully they'll continue their improvements. The service is stellar, from the moment you walk through the door, to the time you leave, everyone is helpful, professional, and happy to help. The beach is clean, the area is quiet, and it's never crowded. Ideal for anyone looking for a calm place to read and relax. Every room faces the ocean, and the views are stunning. The two areas of improvement are: Renovating the rest of building B. It seems that the first floor has been renovated, but floors two and three are still the same ones like before. Improving the breakfast. The previous owners offered the best breakfast on the island. The current breakfast seems a bit quickly put together, not befitting a place like the Sylvan. In spite of these two things, we would stay there again and again. I hope this helps.

The address on Ctrip is wrong! It's wrong! Give Ctrip a bad review! I used this address for navigation and went to the wrong place, kc! Just enter its English name on Google. The room is actually very shabby, and the guest room is still upgraded, with a sea view room. Then there is a strong musty smell, just like a hotel I stayed in Shengsi before, but that hotel in China is 1500, and it also has a private beach but no breakfast. The location here is amazing, with its own beach and swimming pool, but the room smells musty and not very clean. The air conditioning is also relatively poor, and the bedding is also relatively worn out. The breakfast is okay, very mediocre, but at least there is milk. The Giraffe Hotel in China costs 1500 a night, and there is no milk in the morning. In short, around 300, it is super value! Forget about pursuing quality, but pursue cost-effectiveness, it is not too bad. It is clean, but it is old, the house by the sea is damp, and there is a strong musty smell. Worth it.

I recently stayed in a pool villa at this hotel, and while the overall experience was okay, there were some issues. The villa itself was spacious and nice, but it felt a bit old and in need of maintenance. One major downside was the jacuzzi, which had a bubble function that wasn’t working. The shower was also frustrating, as the water heater didn’t function properly, giving only very hot or very cold water with no in-between. On the second day, we faced low water pressure, and the heater stopped working altogether. Despite informing the staff in the late morning and returning in the afternoon, the problem was still not fixed. It seemed like the front desk and the maintenance team didn’t communicate well, which was disappointing. As for the breakfast, it was just okay—nothing special but decent enough. That said, one good point is that the price is reasonable compared to other hotels on the island. If they can improve their maintenance and service, this place could be a much better choice.

Came here with a friend for a Christmas holiday and it was great. The guest manager was a delight and he was very personable, helping with breakfast and conversing with guests about places he loved on the island and life in general. He seems to actually love his job which is refreshing. The rooms were delightful and clean and the bath tub was so soothing as was the view. But note that the resort is at the top of the island so if you want to go to beaches like bang bao bay or lonely island you’ll have to hire a car or taxi. Luckily the resort helped us with that. A staffer named Q even helped my friend find a spot for a late night snack. Overall our stay was great. I would suggest adding a vending machine to the resort for snacks when the kitchen is closed as well as maybe having an additional shuttle available for beaches farther away to allow for guests to sign up to pay a travel fee that they could split evenly. (For example, Mondays is lonely island, Tuesdays you may go to bang bao bay etc). Other than that everything was easy and well accommodated. Would definitely stay here again.

The resort is nice and I got a great deal in the off-season, but there are a couple things to point out. The room was quite clean, but the bathtub had quite a few long black hairs in it, which were very visible so I'm not sure how they were missed. The resort sits on white sands beach, and the beach is great, but all bars near the resort are ”girl bars” as some people euphemistically say. Other beaches on the island have fewer of these, they all seem to be concentrated on one strip by white sands beach. I would stay here again as it was a great value, but I thought some potential guests might like to know these details.

Very good location and evironment but it would be better if the staff have more sevice mind. The staffs at the reaturant are very nice but the shutter driver (the smoking man, night shift I guess) weren’t very friendly which almost ruin the whole vibes. We have to wait until he finish smoking when he could drive us to the beach after and his mood airn’t very friendly. After all I really love the location and evironment, wish they could improve the service mind when I go back next time.

We stayed with my husband in this beautiful hotel for a week in December 2023. To be honest, a week was not enough for us. We liked everything: the hotel staff, the excellent beach, the cleanliness of the hotel, the location of the hotel (there are cafes and shops nearby), the breakfasts are varied and very tasty. At breakfast, if desired, you can eat soup. Many thanks to the chef and all the staff of the hotel for making your stay at the hotel unforgettable!
