A Hidden Gem by the Sea — Radisson Blu Hua Hin
A spontaneous getaway turned into one of our most memorable family escapes — and what a delightful surprise it was! Thanks to a generous discount from Trip.com, we found ourselves basking in the quiet luxury of Radisson Blu Hua Hin.
From the moment we stepped in, the experience exceeded expectations. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, but it’s the lobby that truly sets the tone — wide, airy, and whispering the ocean breeze right through its grand design.
The real magic begins where the shimmering pool melts into the endless blue of the ocean. Imagine greeting the sunrise from your own balcony, the first golden rays painting the horizon — a sight that stays with you long after checkout.
What touched us most was the warmth of the staff. Always smiling, always ready to help — they even went the extra mile when we requested halal options. Though the restaurant has limited halal dishes, the chef kindly prepared a special off-menu fish fry for us — and it was simply divine.
Late-night strolls along the private beach were a peaceful, secure experience, with the sound of waves your only companion. The breakfast buffet, though not vast, was carefully curated — a tasteful balance of oriental and Western flavours, with pleasant surprises like Indian parathas and delicate French pastries.
A couple of small wishes for improvement:
The room key cards seem to have aged along with the sea breeze; they worked half the time — a little upgrade would go a long way.
Expanding halal food options would truly elevate the experience for Muslim travellers — even a confirmation of halal chicken or beef would unlock a world of flavours.
All in all, a beautiful coastal retreat that offers comfort, elegance, and heartfelt hospitality. And yes — a big thanks to Trip.com for making this luxurious escape so wonderfully affordable!
Great hotel! My friends and I had a great time during the trip. The swimming pool in the hotel is very beautiful. We took many beautiful photos. The service staff in the hotel is very polite. I like this hotel very much and I will continue to book it on my next trip.
My experience with Veranda huahin was phenomenal!! Everything stated from staff, environment and the room are well organized.
As a family of 4, they were all impressed with the hotel so far. nothing to be improve yet
Also, the breakfast selection are also one of the checkpoint that we really impress the most. from Thai style dish to western plate, the taste also really good!
If we have a chance to re-visit huahin again. we will surely put veranda hotel on our top choice
A lovely retreat from the city madness, the complex was clean and staff were lovely! Personally I didn’t like the food however it was all presented well and others in the group enjoyed their meals.
Overall I’d definitely stay again if I was doing a similar trip down to Chumpon, not sure I’d go out the way if I wasn’t close by.
Positive:
-Design of the hotel is very nice and very picture friendly.
-Many activities for kids , especially the pool.
-food is nice even if a bit pricey.
Negative:
-hotel is isolated from the city of hua hin (40km)
-room air conditioner is too powerful and can’t adjust the temperature
-sound isolation is poor
-tiny access to the sea
Overall, we had a decent stay. Only a few things missing.
1. Toothbrushes, comb, and shaving kit should be put in the room without calling and ask.
2. Jacuzzi was not entirely clean.
3. Hairdryer was broken.
4. We requested king size bed but got two twins bed combined. We are fine with that but staff should confirm bed type upon arrival rather than me finding it out by myself.
5. Hangers for towels were very easy to fall down which irritated me sometimes.
6. There was no Netflix.
Breakfast was great. We were surprised that staff can remember her birthday and received a cake which tastes good. Staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you!
The hotel is located on a small beach where only locals go. I went there on Monday and stayed for four days. I was the only traveler who occupied the entire resort for the first two days. The waiters were bored so they kept serving me. Hahaha, but it didn't make people feel annoying. They just added coffee, fruit and other things in time. I stayed in the resort almost all day, eating from morning to night. The food was delicious and not expensive. It's just that you get bored after staying on the beach for a long time. There's nothing to visit in the nearby town, but there are 2 large 7-11s and a large local supermarket, which is very good to buy 😜
Convenient walking to the beach. But let me deduct some scores about facilities and equipment on fitness room. Seem like too old & broken. That's it.
Remark : We are travelling on weekday. Staff so nice to upgrade the room for us. Thank u.
Overall:
A beautiful, modern minimalist hotel that perfectly met my needs. Easy to access with convenient, flexible service.
Staff:
Excellent, incredibly kind, and friendly staff who were always ready to assist and offer helpful advice.
Facilities:
1000% amazing! Everything I needed was available. The bathtub was a highlight – the best I've experienced. However, the fitness center and swimming pool were a bit too small. Still LOVE it !!!
Location:
Right by the sea with beautiful sunrise views. You can walk to the beach (over some small rocks). Convenient by car from the main road, but not ideal for walking. There's a 7-Eleven nearby.
Cleanliness:
Based on my experience, 7/10.

AAnonymous UserEverything is good only that there is a wedding party during our stay. And it’s very loud and disruptive. The kids couldnt use the pool and the noise was just very loud, not very relaxing. Don’t think we will come back again. Hopefully the hotel notify all guests about the party.

PPondjulaluckWe absolutely love staying here! The atmosphere is great, and the overall experience has been wonderful. The only downside is that the bed is a bit too soft for our preference, which caused some back discomfort. Other than that, everything has been fantastic. The breakfast is truly outstanding—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety of options. Plus, the location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, making it super convenient for a relaxing getaway!
DDC005If you prefer a quiet resort and still enjoy Thai food + good massage…this is the place. Not crowded.
Friendly staffs and I’m impressed that some staffs speak very good English.
4 of us enjoyed the food in the resort so much that till now back in SG…we still think about it *better than the food we ate in Bangkok restaurants n I’m not even joking* I have got to mention here their PIZZA was so delish!!!
Only cons is travelling from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Vala Hua Hin takes 3 hours :(
I’m gonna miss this place *boo boo
GGuest UserAn extremely large hotel. Had stayed here in the past but it’s not what it once was as some amenities/services had been discontinued (spa closed) and others were extremely tired due to the passing of time (fitness center). The gardens and lounging spaces around the pool were very nice and comfortable and the poolside food and drink options good. The water quality of the pool could have been better. Exercise caution when selecting a room as some rooms are renovated and quite good and others are not. Sister property next door should be considered if one wants a top-level experience.
GGuest UserI had a great stay at Sheraton Hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming from the start. Check-in was quick, and my room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable.
The bed was soft, and I slept well every night. Housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast had a nice variety — everything fresh and tasty.
The location is perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
