So surprise the entrance of hotel is inside the station. This is even nearer than JR hotel at Oita. So convenient!! Their breakfast is good too but a bit expensive at 1980 yen which is same at Oita. With lots of eating places around and of course the ferry wheel not to be missed. Got the CUTE pass at tourist centre to take bus to City Aquarium / port for ferry to Sakurashima to view volcano. Spent around 4h from hotel and back to port for the trip only as we didn’t stop at all bus stations in the Sakurashima. Glad to try the longest leg bath there. Watched few mins of free dolphin show at the canal of the port too. Took tram back to hotel to rest. Then went for ferry wheel and took bus to tenmonkan to visit donki. Back to kagoshimachuo for dinner at 7pm and rested for the day. Really very super convenient place / city. By the way only 2 washer and 2 dryer in the hotel North Wing, so if you need to do laundry do plan else long queue.
Hotel is really convenient located within the shopping and food area. It’s just a short walk away. Cheaper parking is located nearby if required. Only weird thing is the room comes with 2 different types of pillow and we are unable to request 1 more of the type we like.
Excellent stay. Location is perfect, directly opposite Kagoshima-Chuo station, with views over the station plaza.
Spotlessly clean, and excellent service, as you would expect from a good business hotel in Japan.
This hotel has been newly renovated.
It offers a magnificent view of Mount Takachiho.
The air was fresh, the hotel was clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were very satisfying, but the beverage selection was a bit disappointing. The large public bath was spacious, so I enjoyed it leisurely.
But they brought a lot of older boys to the women's bath, which was a bit inconvenient. ^^;; Overall, I was satisfied!
As for cleanliness, the hotel is still new, so the room was very clean. One thing that bothered me was, was it a mistake by the cleaning staff? There were tea bags on the shelf in the room, but there was one tea bag on the shelf above it, which was neatly propped up. Are there two per room...?
The location is a bit of a walk from Yanigawa (about an 8-minute walk), but it might be good for multiple people! The location is not complicated, so you can find it easily. However, since it is outside the downtown area, there is nothing around...just another hotel or a ******** parlor! It is a bit dark, so it might be a bit scary for a woman to walk there alone. There is no convenience store nearby, so be careful!
The necessary facilities and amenities are available. There were separate pajamas for top and bottom. The bath was a type without a bathtub.
In terms of service, I had booked a single non-smoking room, but they upgraded me to a double room because there was a vacancy ^ ^
I like this hotel. I've stayed here for 2 times. They provide a free transfer from and to Railway station and a city centre. Very good onsen with a scenic view on Sakurajima. You can also rent a bike here in the hotel for a reasonable price. Convenience store is right by the hotel.
They offer genuine hot springs. Complimentary Yakult is available in the morning, and ice cream after a relaxing soak in the baths. Free ramen is also served in the evenings. A significant bonus is that the air conditioning stays on even after you remove your room key. All these amenities are truly excellent, making it my first choice every time I visit Japan.
The view is beautiful, it is close to the sand bath, there is a free amenity bar (limited to two items per person), the room is quite large, and the facilities are not new but clean. Open-air hot spring overlooking the sea. The breakfast tastes good, but the presentation is exquisite, with many side dishes and drinks to choose from. The hotel also has free coffee and detox water, which is recommended.
Stepping inside, the impeccable cleanliness was immediately evident; not a speck of dust could be found in any corner, and the sparkling windows created a bright, almost ethereal atmosphere. The staff were consistently friendly and smiling, handling every single detail with meticulous care. Their attentive service was so seamless and discreet, they seemed to anticipate every need without ever being intrusive. The undeniable highlight, however, was the hot spring bath. Amidst the swirling steam, it felt like being transported to a poetic haven, where the silky hot spring waters simply melted away all worries and stress. This elegant and serene environment truly makes it a perfect sanctuary for a relaxing stay.

SShalajiangfanqiejiangThe river view room has a beautiful scenery. Outside the window is a clear blue-green river. Breakfast and dinner are fresh local ingredients, mainly fish. There is a bus stop at the door: Xiaoyuanxuan.
OOrez TsangThis is my first leisure trip in 2025. That's a vey good experience trip with my wife.
A modern and comfortable lobby lounge area provided a nice coffee area for a easy breakfast before my day trip. On the final day, i enjoyed the full buffet breakfast and staffs were really helpful with that gave people nice day beginning.
Onsen provided me an refreshments daily and made me energetic, also relaxed me as happy ending.
I forgot the female staff who received my fruit on 14Jan night. She and her colleague assist us to prepare the fruit which purchased outside. It was my nice dessert that night.
Another memorable gentleman on 13Jan overnight, i was handling some business during overnight in sudden. Therefore, i went down lobby to complete it. He approached me for assistance and offering me help for wifi service.
For the design of lobby, this is very great to locate the front desk towards the main entrance and the most front line to welcome guest. The FO team need to perform the most professional and consistently services. Especially the cold weather, they keep a good image to maintain professional.
The shuttle bus driver was nice to take care us every evening back to hotel.
For the room reservation, we selected the room with beautiful view Sakurajima and i could enjoy my drip coffee myself to see the sun raise.
I will highly recommend this hotel to my friends.
GGuest UserThere is a supermarket nearby, which I think is more convenient. The hotel and room environment is very good, and the private outdoor hot spring space in the room is also relatively large; The only thing is that the hotel is located near the city. Although it is more convenient, it also sacrifices and lacks the landscape of . This depends on personal choice. But in general, it is considered a hotel worth staying in.
AAnonymous UserVery satisfied hotel! The location of the hotel is very good, you can watch the sunrise while lying in bed. There is a hot spring on the premises, the room is comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff is very welcoming! Worth recommending to more friends
Ddarbz89Excellent stay. Location is perfect, directly opposite Kagoshima-Chuo station, with views over the station plaza.

GGuest UserEveryone is very friendly and it's nice at home.
The rice is very good and the beach is nearby, so it is perfect for spending a luxurious time.
This room is a wooden house with high ceilings and a touch of woody fragrance. The ceiling fan invites you to travel.
Taking a step to the balcony, the stars look very beautiful, and the sounds of various creatures come and go.
I feel that I have found something forgotten in my city life.
I want to live longer.
Thank you very much for picking up from the airport.
If you come to Ammei, please be sure to stay, I will recommend it.

TTravelholicsIts a good place as a onsen resort hotel. The onsens are really good. The food is so so but they provide free flow ramen and ice-pop at night as supper and snack. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. There is a private onsen tub at the balcony of our room. It is so nice to enjoy it in the breezy spring.
It will be better if you have own car to stay here. There do not have much choice of public transport direct to the hotel. But hotel staffs are also helpful to assist you to grab a taxi to any scenic spots nearby. The taxi drivers are all very nice. Even they can not speak english well, they tried very best to drive slowly when we pass by beautiful sakura park and use simple english to introduce few scenic places.
The hotel limousine provided us one way when we arrived the jingu station and one way when we checked out from the hotel to jingu for free. I like their service and have great stays here!
GGuest UserFor driver, do note that the parking is chargeable at 1000yen per day at the designated parking areas operated by the hotel. The staff supporting the parking area was absolutely helpful, he ran over in his umbrella during rainy day to inform on the slot that was just freed up for parking and directed us to the parking lot. The hot spring is not recommended as there is only outdoor option and the place is open and poorly maintained with only plastic chairs and wooden divider. bathing suit is needed and chargeable at 500yen if borrow from the hotel. No bath robe was provided and no changing room at the place where hot spring is provided.
