I have spent a nice time, really enjoyed, food was nice and value of money. Staff was very nice and friendly behaviour. I specially mentioned two members of staff one from front desk Mr. Imran very professional and helpful, excellent customer service and care.
House keeping staff member Mr. Albert Ahmed very friendly and helpful.
I booked a twin room but was told that they were overbooked, so I could only get a king-size room with a mattress on the floor. The problem was that the mattress didn't come. I had to make three phone calls and wait for two hours to get a pair of slippers. The lobby is OK, the restaurant environment is good, the food is OK, but the room is really average.
The executive room I checked in was a standard room of a county guesthouse! After negotiating with the front desk and waiting for half an hour, I was able to change the room. The room I changed to in the main building was OK. The pool bar was OK!
The hotel is very tired with poor quality of furniture and fittings. This included the public spaces such as the coffee lounge (Fanoos Lounge).
The saving grace is the hotel staff. They did everything to make our stay comfortable. Shame that the facilities did not match the staff
We stayed at Karachi Marriott because of its location and it turned out very good . Everything or every place where we need to go is within our reach . The manager Syed Obaid hussain shah greeted us and briefed with all the required information. The relations manager Ms April called me and asked about anything I need in room she also came to my room especially and ask about my stay . I am very happy with my stay . My kids enjoyed their stay very much . This is my second time here and anytime I come to Karachi I will definitely stay in Marriott.
I had selected this hotel for my mother and her brother who were traveling to Karachi from Lahore, as claimed by them the hotel was clean, friendly staff and well maintained place, Avari in Lahore has been a family favorite for us and visiting beach luxury hotel shows that they have maintained their brand and their name up to the mark, its old and considered a heritage hotel at the same time but it has been well taken care off over the years as witnessed, food was good and the stay for my family was relaxing as they had travelled a long distance which was tiring for them but they say they had rested very well at the hotel.
The hotel is right next to the main road, easy to find, and looks quite upscale from the outside, but the facilities inside the room are quite poor (disappointing), and the lighting is not bright, which instantly drops the grade. Now the inspection is strict, and Chinese people are not allowed to leave without a bulletproof car, which is very troublesome.

FFASHENBreakfast is not much, the front desk service is slow, checkin took 40 minutes, and then I found that there were people in the arranged room, and almost rushed in... I waited another 20 minutes to process, check in almost lost my visa, and I found it later I don’t know what kind of liquid gets wet, and the writing is blurred...The cleanliness is not bad, the shower gel is not renewed, there is a toothbrush
