Had a very enjoyable stay at Sunway Big Box hotel with my family. Staff were extremely friendly and polite (all service with a smile!) and rooms were very clean. BF had a good variety for young and old and overall we would visit again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

There were a bit congested during check in hours. Hotel guests crowded around registration counters forming long queue. Room keys were placed in different locations. However, customer service staff worked hard to serve the guests with efficiency and courtesy. Other staff also serve with professionalism and pleasant manner. Breakfast was delicious with great variety.

First time booking this hotel and i must say, I’m impressed!! Love the convenience it is to ksl city and the wide variety of food located just below the hotel! Will definitely book this hotel again

We stayed two nights at Trinidad Suites Johor, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, and it was an amazing experience. The place is very comfortable, affordable, and truly worth it. We were really happy with our stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Johor.

From the moment I checked in until the day I left, everything was flawless: • Check-in & Service: The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. They made me feel welcome right away. • Room: Spacious, spotless, and modern – the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. • Amenities: Excellent facilities including the pool and gym, all well-maintained and perfect for unwinding. • Dining: The breakfast spread was fresh, varied, and delicious – plenty of options to start the day right. • Location: Super convenient, close to CIQ and shopping spots, which made getting around Johor Bahru very easy. Overall, it was a perfect stay with zero complaints. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend Capri by Fraser JB to anyone visiting the area!

We stayed in a deluxe king bedroom on the 16th floor. It’s quite easily walkable from City Square Mall, abt 5-10min away :-) Staff were friendly too. Very refreshing view of the causeway from where we were. The room itself was decently clean though the ceiling was a bit dusty. Bathroom amenities were the usual. But overall a decent choice for a hotel near CIQ :)

Our room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly designed, offering a beautiful view of the Johor Bahru skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I especially appreciated the modern amenities provided, from the well-equipped workspace to the luxurious bathroom. Dining at the hotel was another highlight. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of local and international selections, freshly prepared and full of flavor. The service staff were attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities were top-notch – the swimming pool overlooking the city was a fantastic spot to relax, while the gym was well-maintained and equipped with everything needed for a good workout. In short, DoubleTree Hilton Johor Bahru is the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and world-class service. The building is triangle in shape and all room door facing inwards of tri-angle with balcony able to see all floor all rooms in a glance, no floor privacy. Room design is very classic and basic, no bathrope no hand towels no pen paper. The house sliper is also lousy. Drop by to see the swimming pool but entrance are not easily visible to pool, no guard looking out in case of safety. I will not recommend unless you only need to overnight waiting to board Ferry.

Location is 8 mins walk from Mid Valley Southkey Mall. Service is good. After I checked in and took a shower, realized there was no towel and no soap either. Had to call for housekeeping staff to bring them. Then the sink was leaking from the pipe below and water was flowing to the door. Decided to pack my things and went to front desk to request for change of room. The staff was helpful and assigned a new room. Breakfast spread was good and worthwhile.

The hotel's location is excellent, situated conveniently near the Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ) checkpoint and several malls, offering easy access to a variety of dining options. However, the rooms are somewhat compact, and the breakfast buffet is fairly standard, lacking an eggs station. On a positive note, there's a lively pub adjacent to the hotel featuring good music, and Grab transportation is readily accessible.”
