Hotels With Gym in Sonora, Mexico

Very nice, clean, modern hotel. They had a nice breakfast (that I missed) and the rooms were perfect for the price. A bit far from downtown was the only drawback for me, but I believe it was close to the Nogales Airport.

After deadly incident at Sonoran sea resort. Las Paloma’s is not taking necessary safety measures. They are operating in an unsafe manner as maintenance/renovation crews use unsafe power extension cords with no gfci protection. Instead they use cords connected to unprotected receptacles as pictured just feet from lazy river. This could lead to catastrophic electrocutions similar to the events that happened at Sonoran sea resort. The attached pictures show the lazy river in phase 1 at las Paloma’s.

The location is convenient, it is a very good choice for business trips. 🚗 Traffic: Very convenient 🧹 Health: Good, every day aunts come to clean the room 🍃 Environment: There are shopping malls and supermarkets around. 🔔 Service: Careful and thoughtful

Hotel was clean comfortable and the breakfast was good. I was able to leave my car at thier place at no extra cost during my 8 day trip. They also have a free shuttle to and back from the airport. Great service! Will definitely be staying with them on my next trip.

The hotel is new, pleasant, clean, includes breakfast, which is good and very friendly staff in particular a young person in reception that touches me receive and also help me in check out, mostly because I played a very big event in Sonora and it was very difficult to find transportation and this young man went more than his work gave the plus and I helped to be able to move to the airport I am very grateful with his attention as with the driver The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and it is very nice to find people who have empathy for others.

Very good service clean and comfort for the value! Definitely recommend this hotel to family, the staff super friendly and professional immediately attend to my needs. Clean and very good AC unit cool and sparkling neat and fresh linens.

The picture of the room is quite different to the one we were given. I suspect that if we were Fiesta awards members then the room might have been upgraded, however this was an exploratory trip to Hermosillo to see how we would get on with our Tesla. You advertise Telsa charging stations however apart from 1 Tesla model X that was charging for the 2 nights and 3 days all the EV bays were full with Trucks and gasoline powered SUVs. The reception and bar were nice and you have a big bonus with the Sonora Grill, which we did eat at and was as good as the others we have tried. Our room on the 7th floor was very tired. We would become Fiesta Awards members and am sure our room would look like the picture however we are planning to visit regularly from the US in our Tesla and if your charging stations are not available then we cannot consider you as a viable option if you are going to let anyone park all day in these spaces. I am sure you can solve this!

I stayed for one night at City Express in Obregon City. The service is very friendly, the hotel is clean and very well located. Breakfast is included and is good. However, I had a little disappointment with this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, but it was noticed to be maintained: the cap of the lava-man summary was not working. But this kind of details gives a very bad image to hotels. I don't think City Express deserves the place number 1 in cost-benefit between the hotels of Ciudad Obregon.

The hotel could really be 5 star. The rooms are clean, and beds are good. The staff were excellent all the way. I would stay again but I would take a taxi to another restaurant. I had Mediterranean Chicken for supper. It was to be a spinach stuff breast. I think it was a spinach spread. Very light on the spinach. A quarter of the breast was so over cooked it was like dry wood. The coffee was good. My wife had a hamburger and fries. Her fries were under cooked and tasted like the oil was old. We are not hard to please and I rarely send a plate back. But we left food on our plate. I wonder if the chicken chunk made a bang when it hit the trash can. So we tried breakfast. The food was all good. And service was all good. All the staff are good. But $500 pesos for two buffet breakfast is an American price un Mexico. I think for Mexico that is way over priced. Maybe I am already too displeased with the supper too accept $500 for two breakfast. So go ahead and stay there, but take a taxi and go find a place to eat. There are lots in the area.

Having read all the good reviews I was really excited and happy to be staying at the Fairfield. That didn't last long. The hotel has really cut down on everything - due to the coronavirus, they say. The rooms are cleaned once every other day - if you remind the hotel reception and the hotel maids. Otherwise who knows how often. The cutlery at the ”morning buffet” is made of very thin plastic. Good luck eating anything with those forks and knives. There is only whole fat milk at the buffet. No other milk. Due to the coronavirus, they say. This is just downright ridiculous! Go buy some lactose-free and skim milk at the Walmart right across the street. There is an unoccupied conference room next to the restaurant. Nobody there. But will they open it up for you to make a conference call? No! Why? Because it has been reserved for another meeting. The participants must have been invisible though, as they were not to be seen at all. I don't know where or how they wash their towels here, but they don't look very clean and tempting. Several of the towels have dark spots on them. The soap container was completely empty. I requested that it be filled and got a new bottle. Funny enough, the content of the shampoo container and the ordinary soap, is 100% the same. The service at the hotel is polite, but they will in no way or manner try to accommodate you or go the extra mile. I really recommend that you say at the City Express. You'll get the same or better service at a much better price.

This hotel did really cover all our needs of the trip. Nice, spacious, and clean. The best was the food in the buffet. Really worth the price. If we return, even if we don't stay at the hotel, we'll definitively stop by for the buffet. Everyone there was very friendly.

My family and I stayed the night just last week May 18, 2024, we got room 115 it was infested with flies the window was covered with them. In another incident, my son and I jumped into the pool I had my shirt on while swimming a staff member came out to advise me that I had to take it off if it was a cotton shirt since cotton shirts alter the chemicals in the pool I was confused id never had that said o required of me to do so in any other hotel while visiting Hermosillo maybe the staff member was ***? who knows I didn't take off my shirt. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

I just returned yesterday after a two day stay at Lucerna Hermosillo and experienced a terrible stay. When I got into bed the first night something didn't feel right. The sheets felt like they hadn't been washed and had a smell of perfume. I was so tired and didn't want to go through the hassle of having to change rooms so I just stayed in bed and sucked it up. The next morning when I woke there was a long brown hair on my pillow! Now Im upset so on my way out I told the front desk and they said they would look into it. Of course when I returned nothing was said but the sheets had been changed. The next morning I went to the restaurant and ordered a few eggs over easy, bacon and hash browns. I also ordered a small orange juice and coffee. When my plate arrived I noticed that the three small pieces of bacon had been microwaved and the two eggs as well!!! The hash browns were the frozen kind and everything was tasteless.... I finished my coffee and had to get my servers attention because after I received my food he never came back. I asked him if a second cup of coffee was included and he said no-50 pesos more!!! 50 pesos is about two dollars and fifty cents as was the small orange juice. The entire meal came to 378.00 pesos!!! About 19 dollars... I was upset but didn't say a word. I stayed here about 4 times in the past and prior to this stay the food was excellent so I suggest go elsewhere for meals. The bath towels were coming apart and thin. I have been to 130 different countries in my life and stayed in hundreds of hotels but never again in this one! The only good thing was the A/C. It worked perfect.

This is a typical business hotel, so don´t expect anything fancy. The lobby is simple, the rooms are simple, the décor is simple, the furniture is basic. What´s not very simple is the room layout, at least, the one where my husband and I stayed. The shower and toilet are inside the bathroom, but the sink is outside, facing the bed; not facing the wall, but the bed. The mirror hangs on the wall, at your left. The bed is soft and bumpy. The curtains block the sunlight correctly. There´s a large minibar, empty, so bring your own refreshments.

From April 18 to April 23 I attended a conference and I host 5 nights and 6 days in this hotel. During my stay, the lift was decomposition almost all the time, they always mentioned that in 10 minutes it would be resolved, it worked and it was decomposition again in a few minutes. On the day of my check-in, I had an event that I could not attend because my bag was impossible to climb through the stairs and waiting for the lift to be repaired it was late and no longer gave me time to attend the event; The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. In addition to the lifts and the hostel were out of service, the staff also have no service spirit. One night I arrived in my room tired and seated by climbing up the stairs and realized that they had not left water, when they called to ask for it, they told me ”if you like it can go down for it” , I said, of course, no and just a few minutes they sent it to my room. Although they agreed to take it, I find it unacceptable to ask a guest to go down for a article when he asks, and much less if the lift doesn't work and the article was missing in the room.
