As a young man growing up in the seventies, we're constantly exposed to TV ads about Wrest Point Casino, but never actually managed to make a trip there until recently. This place is well maintained and with excellent services. Though we didn't stayed at the tower, we had a pretty good room just opposite the main entrance in the motor inn. With all the big casinos and hotels around the world, it has taken some off the gloss off this fifty-something years old establishment. We'd a fantastic stay.

Good location, walk to the Brook St Pier and the city center. The room is decent sized, nice touch with microwave. You don't require key card to get to your floor. Would feel safer if they require key card to access to the floor. Breakfast is ok.

Hobart Airport is 15 minutes drive away, supermarkets, KFC, McDonald's are 5 minutes drive away. If you want to go to Cradle Mountain the next day, it is a good choice. It is 39 minutes closer than Hobart. The hotel environment is very good, the air is fresh, and animals will walk in front of your balcony. I will choose it next time

Fantastic trip and fantastic service at the Hilton Double Tree. Rooms and service were top-notch. Support from staff was fantastic too. My daughter hurt her foot in the pool and they sent her a little note and bar of chocolate which made her day - above and beyond. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet was pretty average and with Hobart being such a vibrant bustling city of beautiful food they need to up their game. Everything was ok and a decent selection, however the hot food section was pretty poor and the sausages were like cardboard. Kids loved the cereal and fruits on offer so that was a bonus.

The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.

Our stay at The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart, was absolutely fantastic. The room was spotless, and the views were incredible. We had a beautiful night view of the harbor right from our window, and waking up to the sunlight streaming in in the morning was just wonderful. The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk to the waterfront and the city center, and getting to the MONA ferry terminal was super convenient. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and made check-in and check-out very efficient. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of options, both Western and Chinese. The bread, coffee, and bacon were all fresh and delicious. Parking was also very convenient, with direct elevator access to the room floors. Overall, the experience far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel, whether you're traveling for business or with friends! We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Hobart.

The room was spacious, view was good, location perfect. There was car park next to hotel, but fee was expensive. Overall everything was excellent, I will consider this hotel next time. Staff was very nice & helpful. The bed was so comfy. If there is bath tub, that will be perfect!

Stayed for 7 nights. I expected that the rooms in the golf resort hotel should have a first-class view, at least with a view of the golf course. But the room I was given only had bulldozers and trucks parked outside... The bathroom was quite old, and the shower head was on the bathtub. A bit dangerous in the shower There is a little sister Taylor at the front desk who has a sweet smile and greets everyone warmly every time we meet. The contrast is strong with the others who are a bit indifferent. So the championship medal for the National Table Tennis Team Competition in Changchun was left with her during checkout. She will be the only reason why I want to go back and live there

Best Western Plus is situated at a great and convenient location in the heart of CBS. it's within walking distance to almost all city attractions. the bed is v comfortable and facilities are good considering the room rate. it is also v close to the City Park, like 7 mins by walking, great to hv a run in the morning. The front desk staff are v friendly and helpful. Tamar Valley Cruise is 18 mins walking, you can book tickets online or buy it there.

The staff was very friendly and the night guide was great. He took us to see the penguins on the grass outside the room, which was very convenient. The beach nearby was also beautiful. There were rabbits and kangaroos outside the room.
