How to Get from Chongqing Airport to Downtown Chongqing

There are several convenient ways to travel from Chongqing Airport to the city.

Metro Line 10

Chongqing Rail Transit Line 10 directly serves Terminal 3.

It is usually the easiest option for travelers who want an affordable way to reach the city.

Metro services from Terminal 3 generally start at around 6:30 AM, with the final services running until around 11:20 PM to 11:50 PM, depending on the direction and day.

Metro Line 10 is suitable for:

  • Solo travelers
  • Budget travelers
  • Travelers with light luggage

Arriving at Chongqing Airport Late at Night

If your flight arrives late, check your transport options before leaving the arrivals hall.

If public transport has finished, you can use a taxi or ride-hailing service.

Power Bank Rules for Domestic Flights in China

Power Bank Rules for Domestic Flights in China

If Chongqing is not your final destination and you plan to take another domestic flight in China, check your power bank carefully.

Since 28 June 2025, passengers taking domestic flights in China are not allowed to bring certain power banks without a valid CCC or 3C certification mark.

Power banks may not be accepted if:

  • There is no visible CCC or 3C mark
  • The certification mark cannot be clearly read
  • The power bank belongs to a recalled model or batch

Power banks and spare lithium batteries should normally be carried in your hand luggage, not checked baggage.

❤️ Pro Tip for Filipino Travelers: Many power banks purchased outside China may not have China's CCC mark. Check your power bank before taking a domestic flight within China.
