Tokyo Disney Halloween is an annual autumn event held at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. During the event, both parks are decorated for Halloween and offer seasonal shows, character appearances, food and merchandise.

Tokyo Disneyland has more major Halloween entertainment, including The Villains’ Halloween “Into the Frenzy,” Night High Halloween and Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare.” Tokyo DisneySea offers its own Halloween greeting show featuring Mickey Mouse and his friends.

Although the main event starts on September 16, the first costume period, Halloween menus and limited-edition merchandise will be available from September 15.

Tokyo Disney Halloween 2026 Activities

Full Disney character costumes are allowed from September 15 to 30 and October 16 to 31, 2026. Guests are requested not to wear full costumes from October 1 to 15. Special Halloween menus and merchandise will be available from September 15.

The Villains’ Halloween “Into the Frenzy”

The Villains’ Halloween “Into the Frenzy” is one of the biggest highlights at Tokyo Disneyland. Disney Villains host a mysterious Halloween party filled with decorated floats, dancers, energetic music and appearances by Mickey Mouse and his friends.

Full costumes are not allowed throughout the entire Halloween event, so check your visiting date carefully before preparing an outfit. During October 1 to 15, guests should also avoid outfits specifically designed to portray a particular character, including costumes and wigs. Tokyo Disney Costume Rules

Costumes must follow Tokyo Disney Resort's safety and appearance guidelines. Avoid wearing:

Where to Change Costumes

There are no costume-changing rooms inside Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea. Visitors should normally change clothes and apply makeup at home or at their hotel before travelling to the park.

Changing clothes or applying makeup in park restrooms, public restrooms, storage locker areas or other public facilities is not allowed.

For the 2026 Halloween season, Tokyo Disney Resort also provides a paid changing space at Ikspiari, located at Garden Site, Cinema Area, 1F. Advance reservation is required.

The changing space has women-only booths and all-gender barrier-free booths. Guests must have a valid Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea ticket for the same day to use the facility. Baggage storage is available only for suitcases with wheels and must also be booked in advance.

Take the JR Keiyo Line or JR Musashino Line from Tokyo Station to Maihama Station. The train journey takes around 15 minutes.
