This hotel is the most unsatisfactory hotel in my trip to Central Asia. As for the facilities, they have just been updated and to be honest, they are OK. The color temperature of the light is inappropriate, it's almost like the color of a public housing, which makes people feel very low. The room is not big, and the thing I am most dissatisfied with is that the shower water cycles between hot and cold. Another thing to complain about is the breakfast. It was off-season when we went, so it's understandable that there were fewer varieties. But all the apples are rotten, which I don’t understand. The fried egg was too salty and hard to swallow, it tasted terrible. Speaking of advantages, the bedding is good and I slept very comfortably. The hotel staff has a very good attitude. The location of the hotel is good, but compared with the room rate, it is not worth it. I don't know why it ranks first among luxury hotels. It's really too watery. The old city restaurant opposite is pretty good. I didn't try the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was so bad, and I don't think the dinner would be good either.
The hotel is very new, with good facilities. The bathroom floor has floor heating. Compared with another five-star hotel in the city, this one has much better facilities. If you don't care about being close to the attractions, I recommend this one. It is very cost-effective.
This hotel is amazing! This is my favorite hotel on this trip. The swimming pool is nice. The restaurant on the first floor is also nice. There is also ice cream. I am not used to the food in Uzbekistan. I eat pasta, pizza and salad in the restaurant every day. It is so cool. The room is very comfortable. It is also convenient to take a taxi. Highly recommended
Beautiful hotel, clean, modern design and great facilities. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to try their breakfast which sounded promising. The spa facilities (pool, sauna and hammam) are very clean and not busy at all. The room was very spacious and even though is a huge hotel it didn’t feel crowded.
I stayed in a room with a view of the rowing canal. 6th floor. Room 2616. Gorgeous view. You look at the water, rowers training - it's like meditation. A walk along the canal and to the Eternal City also brought great pleasure. I used the free shuttle to the city. To Registan Square. Fast. Quite convenient
Unfortunately, due to being busy, I was unable to appreciate all the advantages of the tourist complex, visit the spa, pool and sky bar. But maybe next time.
I would like to separately note the work of the reception. They helped with all issues. Shahzu helped connect a laptop to the wf.
At first, there were doubts about choosing a hotel, due to the distance from the city center. But in the end, I was very pleased. Thank you. The most pleasant impressions remained.
The location is great! , the rooms are big, the breakfasts are good, but I arrived, but my room was not booked, although I had previously contacted the hotel, the reservation was confirmed, both on the website and in correspondence, of course they provided me with a room, but not in the hotel but in a nearby attached guest house or apartments, I am reducing the rating for cleanliness, because they came every day, but did not do wet cleaning, did not wipe the dust, took out the trash, brought water. Photo of the windows in the room, the street is poorly visible
Great hotel with understated elegance and a real touch of luxury. On my recent trip to Uzbekistan, I stayed in several different affordable hotels and guest houses, Hotel Caravan Serail was by far the best one. The cost per night was a little higher than the other places that I stayed but boy what a difference a few extra euros made! The room was super clean and elegant. The bed is very comfortable. Everything was very well maintained. The staff too were excellent, there was a slight mixup with my room initially, but it was dealt with very quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend this hotel as a great option for an affordable place to stay and if I ever visit Samarkand again, I would definitely book this hotel without hesitation. I only stayed one night but wish I had been longer. Oh, the breakfast is pretty good too!
A very cost-effective hotel with a very comfortable surrounding environment! The hotel is about 10 kilometers away from the main attractions. The rooms are clean and tidy with balconies! There is a small bar on the first floor that is open until about 3 am. The bathroom has floor heating and a smart toilet. The breakfast is mainly Western. I highly recommend staying here! I will stay here again if I have the chance!
The room is very comfortable, the facilities are very good, the balcony view is amazing, it's a great resort, and there is also a Chinese Sichuan restaurant. I ate Central Asian food for a few days. It's great to have Chinese food after working out with my boyfriend👏
I was there off-season on March 8. There weren't many people in the hotel, the rooms were clean and tidy. There weren't enough robes in the room and I would have added something moisturizing for the body (cream) to the cosmetic set. A corkscrew and glasses. Overall, I recommend it, including using the spa area. There was no one there off-season, which is how I like it)

AALON007The overall service is very good, the hotel environment and the outside environment are very beautiful. Especially the front desk lady, she is considerate and thoughtful, first-rate!
The breakfast is rich, fresh and delicious.
All facilities are very good, five-star. The hand-brewed coffee in the room is delicious
The only thing to be improved: there is no cleaning kit, such as cotton swabs, etc.
RRamonLocation: excellent! It is in the same building complex as the Art Gallery Happy Bird, mentioned in Tripadvisor. Registan is about 300 m away, so after dinner I would walk there to see the illumination.
My room had 2 twin beds, was rather small but comfortable. Upon opening the windows, a cool breeze entered the room. Wi-fi was reliable and there was a water boiler for tea.
Breakfast was abundant and good. The cook, Dishoda, would make me an omelette every morning. In the same building there are restaurants and fast food/ice cream joints.
On my last day I took the train to Khiva, which departs at 11:46. The hotel allowed me to stay in the TV room, with wifi access, water and toilet facilities, for 10 hours after check out. I recommend Hotel Dyor.

MMladenowskiWe were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Although it’s rated 4 stars, it offers amenities and service comparable to some 5-star hotels. Our room was spacious, featuring a balcony, a spotless bathroom, and four complimentary bottles of water although we are a couple. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, arranging our private visit to the SPA and swimming pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious, with a wider and better selection than some nearby 5-star hotels.
The only downsides were the location of the rooms, which are separate from the main building, the absence of an elevator, and open-air corridors connecting the rooms to the dining and SPA areas. This can be uncomfortable during colder months like February, so dressing warmly is advisable.
This hotel is definitely THE BEST DEAL you can find in the area and it's just 10 minutes walk from the main attraction in Samarkand.
LLuoleibinA good choice, but the hotel didn't remind me to check in 2 hours early and I had to pay $40! **** didn't say a word, ”Wait a minute, now it's double the price.” Just take the money and stop talking. Speechless 😓, the breakfast is really great, I have to say more about the good stuff.

SSylvia TeohI didn't take pic of the room as it is basic but spacious enough. The hotel is strategically located in between various sightseeing sites. For travellers who opt for tram and bus, you choose the right location because opposite the hotel just accross the road, there is a tramvay stop and bus stop. Tramvay goes to and for the main train station if you are departing for Tashkent or Bukhara. While bus goes around the city. Take bus 22 to go around the city area such as Registan centre. Take bus 31 to and for airport. Really convenient, affordable, and I highly recommend it.
