Everything is great!
Good location - park nearby. You can walk to the sights, it is suitable for those who like long walks.
The room is clean and warm. The ceilings are high, the window can be opened!
We had dinner included - it is from the menu (first, second and dessert - a choice of mastava or salad, pilaf, chicken, manti, lamb, brownie, sour cream cake). Everything is fresh and tasty, the portions are large. Breakfast is also good, there are vegetables, meat, pancakes, porridge, etc. The pool is outside and it is closed during the cold season.
Very nice girls at the reception. New hotel. Excellent bed linen and blankets are very soft. But! The carpet is in vain, it is already old or visually not clean. Excellent breakfasts!! The cook is great. Everything is good.
But, when checking in, we were told that you can move around the territory of the eternal city on a golf cart for free, until 18:00. In fact, this service was not available. We had to move around on a boat for a fee.
There was no pool in the hotel either. Although we saw it in the photo. It turned out that the pool in the photo was from a neighboring hotel. We went with a 50% discount since it is the same chain. Overall, the impression about the hotel is positive. I liked everything very much.

I went up with 2 staff and it turned out it was in the drawer all the time (the funny thing is I never even touched it.) I don’t blame these 2 staff as I know it is their responsibility to make sure nothing was missing/stolen (though next time it would be appreciated if they can check it more thoroughly.)
What truly pissed me off is the attitude from another female staff at the reception named Zarifa. From the moment we checked out, she just looked grumpy and when my friend said “we never used it”, she reacted with “I am sure you did” in a very rude way! Even later on, it turned out to be in the drawer in the room, she was not even apologetic (the other 2 staff at least said “sorry for the mistake.”
This is one of the 2 five star hotels in Samarkand and I just hope what we paid at this hotel is equivalent to the amount of respect you show to your customers. The hotel really NEEDS to put more training in your staff’s service.
By the way, we had a really nice chat with another staff named “Firdav” at the first floor bar (if I remember his name correctly, he is tall and bit skinny). He had worked in Hilton for 2 years and the professionalism and politeness he demonstrated is just another level. PLEASE LEARN FROM HIM THAT HOW A STAFF AT 5 STAR HOTEL SHOULD BEHAVE AND TREAT THEIR GUESTS!!
The hotel is of a high level of comfort - the room, breakfast, everything is great, worth the money! There are some shortcomings that should be corrected - the waiters in the lobby do not know the menu, they mix up the dishes. There is a large area around, they could organize scooter and bicycle rental as an option for leisure for guests. There is not enough transfer at least to the eternal city, to the fountain - you have to call a taxi every time.
The hotel is located in the very center of Samarkand, which is very convenient. Some attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are not very large, but comfortable. Large and beautiful hall on the first floor. Breakfasts are very tasty and very varied. We liked everything very much, especially the breakfasts!

Upon arrival, the front desk manager kindly upgraded our room to a suite in celebration of my wife's upcoming birthday—a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for our visit. The suite, featuring a separate bedroom and living room, was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained.
Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide range of continental options. While I would have appreciated more local dishes, the variety and quality were excellent. Both the reception and dining staff were friendly, attentive, and eager to assist. The SPA area and swimming pool were spacious, clean, and designed to offer plenty of privacy, even when other guests were present.
Tip: About 100 meters to the left of the hotel, there’s a fantastic local BBQ restaurant with affordable, tasty food.

There was a misunderstanding with my previous booking for another property in the same wellness complex near Samarkand, but when I got to the nearby Hilton Garden Inn Sogt instead, I felt in good hands from the first minute - and all there was perfect, at least for my understanding. Cozy, warm, quiet and simply, but stylishly furnished rooms, amazing bed and bathroom, huge TV (which I didn't use for a second, but it's nice to know you have one), and all this - in a very peaceful, quiet and beautiful surrounding. Probably the best hotel service you can get in Samarkand, is in that area. Airport is 20 minutes away, similar is the time to the downtown and historic area of Samarkand. Yandex taxis are available day and night, and their rates are something you can't even dream of in the Western world.

Рядом с отелем вечный город, поющие фонтаны. Персонал в отеле отзывчивый, очень вежливый. В номере есть халаты, тапочки, косметика Salvatore Ferragamo.
Nice hotel with good Ambiance and facilities. Special thanks to Sharofat at the reception who helped us booking a city tour and was very helpful even during her leave. It had 24x7 bar and restaurant with good food. Would strongly recommend this hotel to all kind of tourists.

RRamonLocation: excellent! It is in the same building complex as the Art Gallery Happy Bird, mentioned in Tripadvisor. Registan is about 300 m away, so after dinner I would walk there to see the illumination.
My room had 2 twin beds, was rather small but comfortable. Upon opening the windows, a cool breeze entered the room. Wi-fi was reliable and there was a water boiler for tea.
Breakfast was abundant and good. The cook, Dishoda, would make me an omelette every morning. In the same building there are restaurants and fast food/ice cream joints.
On my last day I took the train to Khiva, which departs at 11:46. The hotel allowed me to stay in the TV room, with wifi access, water and toilet facilities, for 10 hours after check out. I recommend Hotel Dyor.

MMladenowskiWe were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Although it’s rated 4 stars, it offers amenities and service comparable to some 5-star hotels. Our room was spacious, featuring a balcony, a spotless bathroom, and four complimentary bottles of water although we are a couple. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, arranging our private visit to the SPA and swimming pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious, with a wider and better selection than some nearby 5-star hotels.
The only downsides were the location of the rooms, which are separate from the main building, the absence of an elevator, and open-air corridors connecting the rooms to the dining and SPA areas. This can be uncomfortable during colder months like February, so dressing warmly is advisable.
This hotel is definitely THE BEST DEAL you can find in the area and it's just 10 minutes walk from the main attraction in Samarkand.
LLuoleibinA good choice, but the hotel didn't remind me to check in 2 hours early and I had to pay $40! **** didn't say a word, ”Wait a minute, now it's double the price.” Just take the money and stop talking. Speechless 😓, the breakfast is really great, I have to say more about the good stuff.

On my recent trip to Uzbekistan, I stayed in several different affordable hotels and guest houses, Hotel Caravan Serail was by far the best one. The cost per night was a little higher than the other places that I stayed but boy what a difference a few extra euros made! The room was super clean and elegant. The bed is very comfortable. Everything was very well maintained. The staff too were excellent, there was a slight mixup with my room initially, but it was dealt with very quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend this hotel as a great option for an affordable place to stay and if I ever visit Samarkand again, I would definitely book this hotel without hesitation. I only stayed one night but wish I had been longer. Oh, the breakfast is pretty good too!

SSylvia TeohI didn't take pic of the room as it is basic but spacious enough. The hotel is strategically located in between various sightseeing sites. For travellers who opt for tram and bus, you choose the right location because opposite the hotel just accross the road, there is a tramvay stop and bus stop. Tramvay goes to and for the main train station if you are departing for Tashkent or Bukhara. While bus goes around the city. Take bus 22 to go around the city area such as Registan centre. Take bus 31 to and for airport. Really convenient, affordable, and I highly recommend it.
