This hotel is centrally located in Goreme, just a 5-minute walk to the main shopping street. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and come equipped with a fridge, towels, black tea, and coffee. It offers excellent value for money. **Service:** The owner is incredibly welcoming. When I arrived early in the morning, I contacted them to store my luggage, and later in the day, they messaged me to say a room was available for immediate check-in. **Facilities:** The hotel environment is fantastic, and the facilities are very new. The bathroom is also very large. **Service:** The breakfast selection is varied and freshly prepared, with a wide choice of main dishes, snacks, and drinks.

Hotel was beautiful and clean! Staffs are helpful and friendly - helping you with taxi service, activity booking and even food delivery service (we checked in very late, good to have food after dinner time!) The environment is 💯, especially the breakfast outdoor area ( breathtaking view with many cute cats), many choices of good food:) The location is slightly away from Göreme, buts it’s not the problem if you are driving (just 5-10mins) or take the taxi (around euro7 to the city centre). We like it here a bit away the city centre which is quiet :) The weather are not the best and we weren’t able to join air balloon and enjoy the balloon view, will definitely come back next time!!

It was great, reasonably priced, and clean. Most importantly, the owner and staff were very welcoming. I asked the owner many questions, and he answered them all. The guesthouse has about four or five rooms. The owner is there during the day, and the staff works the night shift. While I was waiting for my bus, he even poured me a cup of Turkish tea.

A perfect stay experience. The hotel's swimming pool is very beautiful. The breakfast is rich in variety and first-class in taste. The lady at the front desk had a very bright smile, providing us with a good mood for the whole day. The hotel offers airport pick-up and drop-off services as well as booking services for various projects in Cappadocia, which is very convenient.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The Turkish breakfast was lovely, with a good variety and fresh options each morning. One of the highlights was the terrace, which was a great spot to watch the hot air balloons in the early morning — a really special experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel’s central location made it easy to get around and explore the area on foot. Overall, a well-kept hotel in a convenient location, and a great base for our stay.

Excellent hotel, the staff is responsive, friendly and always ready to help! We got up at 5 am, it's a 5-minute drive to the flying balloons and it's beautiful! Breakfasts are poor, only tea is hot, a boiled egg, various cheeses, jam, vegetables and a bun are included. We got a room in the basement, the ventilation is very noisy.

Very good hotel. The owner enthusiastically introduced his family's 120-year-old hotel and let me choose a room when I checked in. In the end, I chose the sun room. I really like the scenery from the hotel. The rooftop is also very beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, I regretted not staying a few more nights.

The hotel is located near the starting point of the Red Tour. It offers great views and is great for hiking. Although it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the street with restaurants, it isn't a problem if you walk quickly. Perhaps because there are viewpoints nearby, people walk around even at night, so the location didn't feel particularly dangerous. The staff were friendly, and I was so grateful that they allowed me to check in 3 hours early even though I arrived early. The water filter color didn't change either. It's a clean hotel! However, there is no elevator.

GGuest UserThis was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the views from the rooms were amazing! The breakfast was lavish and I looked forward to it every morning. The staff were very kind and always polite. The mascot cat, Kuroneko, was also cute. Uchisar is at a higher altitude than Goreme, so the views are generally beautiful and I personally recommend it. (It's not too far from the hot air balloon spot either.) I'd love to stay here again if I come to Cappadocia!

GGuest UserOverall,I greatly enjoyed my time at the Rio Cappadocia Hotel. It is a very clean , new hotel with a modern cave feel. We had two rooms because I made two separate bookings. Both rooms were cozy and spacious, especially the second one(which was bigger in size). The rooms have beautiful carpets, the interior is simple yet attractive, and the beds were comfortable. The staff members greeted us warmly, and we were often provided with complimentary tea. The free breakfast was pretty good, including four different types of cheese, hardboiled and scrambled eggs, a few types of breads, olives, etc. Turkish tea and coffee are also provided. The hotel is conveniently located, and the room rates are reasonable. The main issue I had was communication. Although there were no major problems, the following did not sit well with me. Prior to traveling to Cappadocia, my initial question that I asked was what bus number to take to the hotel(upon arriving at the airport). The response was , ”For this we need to arrange a transfer for you. Give us your flight number, passport numbers, the number of people , and I will arrange it for you.” The staff member was talking about the pick up at the Gerome bus stop, and not the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. This confused me. It became even more confusing when I was told we could get help with direct transportation from the airport to the hotel....and then the mentioning of a transfer pick up from the bus stop again. I simply wanted a direct, simple answer that provided an option for direct transport to the hotel. On top of that, the staff member was not talking about the correct airport(based on the flight number I had previously provided). When I asked for help to arrange a taxi to a restaurant, she gave the driver the wrong restaurant name(after I had said the correct one). There was also an instance in which I paid for both the green and blue tours with cash, and was asked if I had already paid. They checked their system and realized that I did. I should have asked for a receipt, but they should also check their records before asking this( it was confirmed that I had paid, so it wasn't a big issue)Additionally, I wanted to postpone the green and blue tours after a hectic traveling experience, as well as after a long day doing the red tour. I was told ”Don't worry...you will be in a VIP van..the tour will be great”, instead of just acknowledging the fact that we were exhausted. I didn't need to be sold on something I had already purchased(and that I still wanted to do). We just wanted some rest time before doing the other two tours. We were offered complimentary tea one last time at the end, but the staff member told us to write a review of our stay first. We refused, and I said I would do it later. She was friendly prior to our departure, but asked why I hadn't written a review. And, she asked if we could follow the hotel on Instagram. I understand the importance of advertizing a business within such a major tourist destination, but this was a bit too much. I hope the hotel can see this as constructive feedback. Despite the previously mentioned verbal/written communication, it was a lovely hotel. I would definitely recommend this accomodation.

CCkKelvinWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Enes is incredibly nice and even helped us with our luggage upon arrival. He also assisted us with planning all our activities in Cappadocia, including local tours, the Turkish Night experience, dress rentals, and photography services, everything was smooth and convenient. Enes is very approachable and caring, which made our trip more enjoyable. The hotel location is perfect, right in the middle of Göreme, close to popular viewpoints and just a short walk from the bus station, which made getting around very easy. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of hot dishes and a great variety to choose from. Our cave-style room was cozy and unique, with a heating feature that was perfect for the current season. The room also had complimentary beverages and a fridge, which was a nice touch. Another highlight of this place is the rooftop terrace. The view is amazing, especially early in the morning when you can watch the hot air balloons rising over the valley, which is amazing and truly unforgettable. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended!

AAleenaMK10/10 This cave hotel is a hidden gem in Goreme and one of the newest cave hotels. We had booked the Superior Cave Queen Room with jacuzzi that was very clean, and easily fit 3 of us.! It was such a lovely experience in the cave and has to be one of my favourite places that l have ever stayed. We had breakfast included which had a spectacular view of Gerome as well as the hot air balloons. The lovely girls at breakfast were very kind and always cooked us lovely eggs in the morning. Perfect location which was walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. Our favourite place was Quick China which was a short walk. There were stunning carpet shops and we ended up buying a pretty carpet from Dowry Carpets. The staff have a lot of experience and knowledge of the area and have a variety of tours and experiences to explore. We booked the hot air balloon with the hotel which I would recommend to all. It was an unforgettable experience and was our highlight of the trip. Truly magical! Finally I would like to extend a huge thank you to the amazing staff - Mehmet, Mehmet (Junior), Mehdi and Noor. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating to all our needs. They always ensured we were comfortable and messaged throughout the day to see if we needed anything. Mehmet made a huge effort for my sister's birthday and it was a lovely surprise. I would definitely recommend this cave hotel to whoever wants to have a memorable experience in Cappadocia. Oh and the most cutest cat of Hira Hotel - Duman. We miss him!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located high up in the town, offering a great view of Cappadocia's unique landscape. The surroundings are beautiful, and you can see hot air balloons and the sunrise in the morning. The hotel proactively contacted us via WeChat before our arrival and stayed in touch throughout our journey. Our flight didn't land until 11:30 PM, but the front desk attendant patiently waited for us and even helped with our luggage – very professional! The cave room was spacious and very clean, and it wasn't stuffy like I had imagined. We stayed for two nights, and the bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful; even though there were some items we weren't used to, it was clear they put in a lot of effort. On the second day, they even made Chinese noodles, which was a thoughtful touch and very welcoming to Chinese guests. Our flight back to Istanbul was at 10 PM, and it was quite cold during the day. The hotel not only allowed us to play cards in the lobby but also provided complimentary tea and coffee. We're very grateful for their excellent service. Highly recommended!

DDaphne MLWe really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.. it's at ibrahimpasa, a quiet area outside of the main touristy areas of goreme and uchisar. We checked in easily, and we were immediately impressed by the rooms we booked (the deluxe cave suite with jacuzzi). We stayed in Room 404. After the first night, we informed the reception that our jacuzzi wasn't working, and they upgraded our room to the imperial cave suite with jacuzzi and fireplace. It was lovely and we appreciated the kind gesture. They also helped us with luggage as we moved rooms (to Room 401), and it was all a seamless experience despite the mild inconvenience. The rooms we stayed in were always warm even in winter, and we never found anything to be lacking. Just a note for light sleepers, Room 401 is along the stairs/walkway down to the lower levels, so if there guests who come back late at night and are loud, you will most definitely hear it! Breakfast selection was simple but sufficient, with an espresso coffee machine I really appreciated after drinking Turkish coffee for a week! A small note that the bathrooms often smelled a little bad, perhaps it's the sewage system. Not a big problem tho. It's barely noticeable. We rented a car and drove, so getting in and out of town was never a problem. Parking is available at the hotel, and is free, if you drive! The roads leading in to the hotel are a little narrow, so definitely not for non-confident drivers, but we found it ok. I don't really have photos of the room to share but rest assured the photos provided by the hotel are real and accurate.

AAnonymous UserThe room is ready when we arrived at 5pm. The room is clean, there are 1 queen bed and 2 single beds which able to accomodate the 5 of us. The hotel is beautiful. They served you many options of food for breakfast. The most important thing, they allowed us to leave our luggages while we completing the tour and wait for the airport transfer to come and fetch us.
