Hotels With breakfast in Noord-Holland, Netherlands

My husband and I were pleased to return each evening from all our busy day trips to this peaceful and quiet retreat. It seemed relatively new built. A free shuttle brings you from the airport on arrival. We booked uber for our return trip to the airport as the shuttle does not start until 5 am but we had to be at the airport by 4am and had a large suitcase as well. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk to the local train/bus station where we could make our daily excursions from each morning. There is a good network of transport so we had no problems going anywhere. A direct bus takes you to Keukenhof park from the bus station. The rooms are cleaned on request when asked the day before. The staff was mostly helpful and friendly. However, any requests made took time to be heard and considered. I needed to request an extra pillow (otherwise it is only one pillow per person). Despite frequent reminders, there was no success I had to keep using towels or my clothes to raise my head but kept asking and perseverance paid off finally on the third night!!! The breakfast had a lot of vegetarian options (but not halal). I particularly liked their dispensers for fruit jams and condiments etc. The bar is open until 10 pm serving drinks. The hotel was very popular with big groups of tourists as it offers good value for money compared to the very expensive hotels near the central stations. The only drawback is that there is no activity in the Hoofddorp area itself. Overall it was good value for money and a pleasant stay.

The greatest bonus point is that the Holiday Inn Express Hotel is conveniently located just beside the Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station, ~ 3 mins walk! Our rooms were nicely cleaned, wifi strength was strong, the complimentary breakfast buffet spread includes a selection of freshly baked pastries, cereals, fresh fruits, juices, boiled eggs & many different sweet & savoury toppings ☺️ We have only one feedback for improvement is the unfortunate heavy stench of urine smell left behind by some of the inconsiderate public members in front of the hotel entrance 😭 All in All, it was a wonderful stay created by each hardworking hotel staff member & the management team - awesome job!

The staff were so nice, because I needed to check out at 11am but I had a job interview. And they were so kind to help me close the door of the common room, so that I can avoid the noise.

It was decent. The hotel looks more like a ”hostel” instead of a hotel. The room lighting was on a darker setting. The temperature is a bit colder. There waa no heating rack for towel. It takes a bit more time to walk to sloterdijk station and the road is not flat. But there are various of affordable restaurants nearby. The bed and the pillow were comfortable.

Was an excellent stay. Perfect hospitality and nice ambience. Love the Greener Stay vouchers that I exchanged for drinks. 👏 ♻️ location is great - right next to the Bijlmer Arena station. There’s a super market nearby for water, snacks, sandwiches, and more. Nothing to complain to be honest. Had a long stay so got a tad used to the breakfast options… but breakfast options are good 👍 Will stay again 👍

Easy travel to centraal and airport. Room and toilet not that clean but acceptable

The staffs are all very kind and friendly. Good things are the location is convenient and close to the supermarket and train station. For the people who need to travel to Amsterdam downtown also very good value for price. You don’t need to live next to canal to enjoy the city. But the space worth the transportation.

The best thing is the kitchen, which has a dishwasher. You can wash the food directly after cooking. There is also a paid washing machine and dryer. The room is not big, but it has everything you need. It is very close to the tram station. Line 5 goes directly to Amsterdam's central train station. The surroundings are very quiet and you can have a good rest. It is worth recommending

The hotel is new, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-designed. However, the overall service needs significant improvement. The check-in process was slow, room amenities were not fully provided, and the housekeeping standards did not meet expectations. While the property has good potential, better service and attention to guest needs are required to enhance the overall experience.

We stayed at Trianon Hotel for a couple of nights and were generally satisfied, considering its budget price. Pros:
The location is fantastic — right in the heart of Amsterdam, directly opposite the Van Gogh Museum, perfect for art lovers and city explorers. The view from the window is stunning, especially from higher floors. Check-in at 2:00 PM was quick and hassle-free, with friendly staff. Cons:
There are some drawbacks. The hot water pressure in the shower was weak, which was a bit annoying. The carpet in the room looked somewhat dirty, which affected the overall impression. The coffee machine in the lobby charges even for hot water, and there’s no kettle in the room, which is inconvenient for those who like to make tea or coffee. Overall:
Trianon Hotel is a great budget option for those looking to stay affordably in central Amsterdam. For the price, it’s a decent choice for a short stay, especially if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city.
