We stayed here twice with a few days in between. Our first stay was great! The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. The restaurant was closed but the outside bar served nice food (only 2 veggie options), though a little noisy and cold (they gave us blankets when we asked). Our second stay was awful! We had two rooms booked, but they said we only had one. We had to wait several hours in reception for this to be sorted with no apology from staff. When we came to check out, they said they hasn’t received the money from lastminute.com and asked us to pay again. I showed proof of payment, but they said they didn’t have it so wanted me to pay. I refused! They asked me to call lastminute.com to sort out the payment transfer to them. I explained that everything on my end was complete and that they could sort it out with the tour operator not me. Also on our second stay the food was terrible - the zebu fillet was completely inedible. When we told the staff they didn’t even acknowledge this problem.

Entry to the hotel is through a glass door. The lobby is kind of small. The reception staff is friendly, helpful and can communicate in English with some degree of difficulty yet service is substandard. I have noticed very active clean girls doing the cleaning. They are extremely friendly and work very hard. Room is a little tight, but reasonably furnished. The room has no view and is located top of the hotel kitchen. The room is full of odors released from kitchen exhaust. I was not able to change room because the hotel was fully booked. The room has a small fridge and a mini bar. It also has a split air conditioning unit, I am not sure if it is operational or not. Toilet is renovated with a shower cabinet and hotel branded set of towels. You also get two free 500ml water bottles a day. The hotel has a business center, gym and massage parlor and a new glass elevator. You are expected to pay for breakfast. Breakfast buffet is small which is expected for such a small hotel. It included beans, noodles, and fish. Salad and very scanty selection of cheese. Muesli, raisins, nuts and yoghurt. Bread, croissants and cake. Drinks included juices, coffee and tea. The buffet is manned, which made me a little uncomfortable. I like to pick my own food without having someone following me while picking my food. In summary, you will find most of the facilities that you find in a 5 star hotel in a smaller scale or may be shabby. It is suitable for budget travelers that are not very picky and suitable for businessmen and professionals.

Establishment without supervision. The boss or manager?? Invisible. The day of arrival, impeccable dinner. The next day disaster. A ginger steak without ginger and unspeakable, acceptable flambés. But two hours for that. There were only 7 people in the restaurant. The reason given: The chef was not there. And above all, the hotel is located in a HIGH RISK place in the evening, access by 4x4 otherwise you do not arrive. Almost a kilometer of road. I was traveling for work, and the first part of my trip was pretty good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even found me a doctor when I got sick one evening. The breakfast was excellent. Wifi was pretty reliable. But it was a loud hotel. Initially there was some construction going on outside the window of my room, so even when my room got a bit stuffy it was hard to keep the window open long because of the noise. Then later in the week there were about 200 young athletes staying in the hotel and it descended into chaos. It's a really well-located hotel, and so you may still choose to stay. If you find it too loud, I recommend walking around the corner to Paradise Restaurant (actually I recommend this anyway!) the atmosphere is a peaceful buzz of excitement and the food is delicious!!

A centrally located hotel in mid city centre. It has an indoor pool and SPA. Rooms are comfortable with all basic amenities being provided. It has a coffee shop and restaurant which serve multicuisine. Staff are welcoming, polite and professional. Would like to make a special mention of Vanessa F&B Manager who gave a personal touch during my stay catering to my vegetarian food preference and looking after other guests. Liliana at the Front office was very supportive catering to my requests.

I have been using this hotel for 3 years, it is practically in front of the international airport, so you can safely go on foot, just exit the parking lot, or if you prefer you can be accompanied. maybe if you have rather heavy bags use the service provided by the hotel. Simple and cheap to spend a night or two before boarding. The management is familiar, the owner speaks many languages, Italian Spanish Portuguese French Malagasy English. If you want you can organize trips and transfers to the main attractions in the capital or simply to the craft markets. Electricity and hot water 24H

Really good for the price. Good WIFI, TV, safe, fridge, spacious room with extra bedding. Very good food at the restaurant. Pleasant staff. Located in the city center near the town hall, the area is not safe, like the rest of the city. Even in the middle of the day you can be robbed or attacked. There are police officers, but in places where they risk nothing, or often to direct traffic

My wife and I stayed 3 nights arriving at 4PM after being met at the TNR Airport. A nice receptionist with decent English copied our passports as the card payment was automatically processed. Another really good English speaking receptionist collected our key cards and escorted us up one of the 3 elevators to the 3rd floor. Room #303 was a perfect Radisson solution to travel, with all necessary items of a 5 star; robes, slippers, large fluffy towels, very comfortable queen with great pillows and duvet, large TV with excellent satellite reception(BBC + 19 other channels), upholstered bench, cushioned chairs, welcome tray(cookies, grapes & candy), 2 designer waters with coffee, cream and chocolate. A costly 6:30AM buffet breakfast or a la carte selections were available at the lobby restaurant. We bought muesli, yogurt, milk, bananas and nuts at the nearby Waterfront Center Shoprite, had lunch at the KFC and at the sister Radisson’s Tamboho Restaurant. I used the upscale 8 station gym and saw the small pool and the Fire Court Restaurant, all with 8th floor city views. We scheduled daily trips with hotel-arranged drivers in Peugeot cars: -50km circuit north to Royal Hill of Ambohimanga($45). -58km circuit south to La Haute Ville d’ Antananarivo Palace, churches and Lemur’s Park($72).

The breakfast is good, the location is very good, very close to the factory, driving only 10 minutes. When you go, you will meet National Day and watch the best place for fireworks show!

I don’t know why this place is not rated high. I have stayed in other hotels in Tana, and this is undoubtedly the best. The double bed in Raddison ably is made up of very small single beds, and my back hurts after sleeping for one night. The bed and room are huge. There is a cash machine and a large supermarket just outside the road. Breakfast is much better than Raddison Blu. Very hearty. A little less fruit. Tana deserves first place, but the price is indeed a bit too high.

We were accommodated here for one night by the airport as our plane was delayed. The lobby is huge and spacious and you can immediately feel that you are in China here. The reception is very pleasant, nothing to say. We were installed in our room, which was, I must admit, extremely clean, with a well-equipped luxury bathroom! Too bad the view on the road is atrocious. We then went down to lunch (meals paid for by the airport) and it was frankly disgusting! Our menu was imposed and we had the impression that they had prepared the fridge funds for us... So much so that in the evening we preferred to go out to eat elsewhere even if we could have stayed at the hotel and eat free. The breakfast is also unworthy! It's not restocked so when we came down around 8:30 there were only a few bits of watermelon, broth, bread and a bit of cheese left. Very limited for a hotel of this standard, especially since the other hotel guests were entitled to the same buffet. We asked if they were going to refill and clearly that bothered the waitress. In short, for a service that we got for free, it's still fine, but it's clear that I won't pay to return to this hotel.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the only down side being the poor drainage of the shower, hence having to deal with a wet bathroom floor! There is a desk in the room with tea and coffee facilities, considered quite a luxury here. The first night we stayed here I had to contend with the neighboring night club music until the early hours of the morning, but I assume this is not a daily occurrence. The breakfast included was substantial and had a good variety of pastries. Most impressively they were able to serve me a cappuccino! The rooftop bar has a lovely ambience for evening sundowners, but the prices are a bit steep. The chocolate rhum arrange, however, was well worth the dear treat!! The concierge is very helpful in that they even organised us a taxi to and from our restaurant of choice for the evening. There is a spa and gym facilities also available on site. The hotel is also situated within walking distances to restaurants, shops and ATMs. All in all, a good, comfortable stay!

Not recommended, the reason is that it is far from the tourist attractions, the price/performance ratio is not high, many hotels in Tana are under the name of Radisson 😸, the whole East Africa, Radisson franchise stores are everywhere, but this Radisson is located in the suburbs, I have lived in the Radisson apartment in the old town, it is within walking distance to the tourist attractions, this one is a bit far, you have to take a taxi, and to be honest, I don't think it is special, it is more than 100 yuan expensive for no reason, more importantly: the free airport shuttle is nonsense, nonsense, nonsense 😭😭, just take a taxi yourself, emails are not replied, you have to call to book a pick-up, the price is twice that of the airport taxi, more locals come, the reason is that there is a cinema next to it, suitable for weekends, after all, locals don't go to tourist attractions 😭

My wife and i stayed here twice while travelling around Madagascar in September. The accommodation was very clean and of a very good standard. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the restaurant provided good food in the evening as well as an excellent breakfast with plenty of choices and there was some live music in the evening. It is in a really good location, walking distance to the main market area, as well as close to several sights. We would unhesitatingly stay here again and definitely recommend it.

The hotel is very close to the domestic airport, only a few hundred meters away, 5 minutes walk, and free shuttle bus, very convenient. On the day of check-out, the hotel shuttle sent us to the airport. After the security check, when we waited in the airport terminal, we found that the mobile phone could not be on the network, and we could not find the signal of the wifi generator I brought out of the country. This was found that the wifi generator may have been forgotten in the hotel. I was sweating so quickly, what should I do? Traveling abroad, relying on that generator to provide traffic to our mobile phones and computers. I told the security check that I had to go out to find something. I hurried from the airport to the hotel, and it took a few minutes to walk back to the hotel. The hotel receptionist saw me as soon as I entered the door, and immediately handed me a white T-shirt and white wifi generator! I am moved and happy, and I feel emotion! I remembered that the mobile phone that was forgotten in the gem stall when I visited the gem market yesterday was also sent back to my hand by the owner! The people here are really honest! Although the country is very poor, but the people's simple and honest character, gave me a deep memory!

A hotel we used for transit near Airport. San Cristobal Hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise after a long flight ordeal. It’s a boutique hotel with a pool and nice clean rooms at just a few minutes from Airport. Considering we were to take a flight next day at 6:30 AM, it was perfect. Dinner gave us the first glimpse of how meals are in whole of Madagascar i.e. Typically a fixed menu meal with limited choice (One Starter or Soup, One Mains and One Dessert). Portion size are big. Starter, Soup, Salad and Mains have a vegetarian version too. Fish served in the Mains was good and so was dessert.

I chose this because it was close to the bus of Cotisse and the price was cheap. Most staff couldn't speak English, but Very gentle and the room was clean. Tiffany, who was staying for the exam, was helpful to communicate in English.

Close to the airport, but quiet at night. Our upstairs bedroom was clean, cosy and nicely decorated, with attractive floral hangings. The bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water in the shower, the zebu we ate for dinner was the tenderest we had in Madagascar. The staff were charming. Breakfast is very basic, but adequate. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. They even helped me find a place to eat after I checked in because i arrived late at night. Other pros: the wifi was reliable. The bed was comfy. There’s AC. The restaurant onsite serves good food. There are lots of shops and places to eat nearby, and the cotisse terminal is fairly close (about a 20 minute walk away). The free breakfast is just a small pastry with coffee or tea, but hey it’s free. There are ATMs nearby, and you could also have money exchanged in their office. And with the cheap price, you can’t really go wrong especially if it’s just for a night or two. I’d highly recommend this place if they’d only do the much needed repairs and keep the property well maintained.

Establishment without supervision. The boss or manager?? Invisible. The day of arrival, impeccable dinner. The next day disaster. A ginger steak without ginger and unspeakable, acceptable flambés. But two hours for that. There were only 7 people in the restaurant. The reason given: The chef was not there. And above all, the hotel is located in a HIGH RISK place in the evening, access by 4x4 otherwise you do not arrive. Almost a kilometer of road.
