We liked this hotel very much. A spacious and clean room with partial ocean view (second line) is fully matched by the photos on the site. Everyday cleaning, water, tea and coffee is all provided for a comfortable rest.
Breakfasts are delicious, though not in the Swedish table format. Hotel location is just great! It is at the end of the Unavatuna beach, just 15 minutes walk from the main tourist street. In two minutes the only Alcomarquet, and in 20 minutes walk the turtle beach.
But the main beach right across the road! There is a cozy and quiet bay where the waves are broken down about the stones without reaching the shore. Unlike the main beach where the strong flow can carry, you can swim quietly and enjoy the soft remnants of the waves.
I would like to celebrate the staff smiling, kind and very pleasant people. Thank you for your warm reception!
Very esteticall and herritage, but modern equipted cosy little hotel. Strange but seems to me its most intersting and nice equipeted hotel that i seen on island during my travel(include 5 *hotel by the way). One problem that its difficult to find out where it placed on. And little bit dusty tv set behind. Breakfast by menu. Good experience. Recomend to visit on.
The hotel is on the very edge of the rock, not far from the main road. The hotel was settled earlier( at 12). The views from the room are just delicious. The breakfast is delicious. The dinner is even delicious and the views are amazing. The room itself is stylish. I highly recommend the hotel to those who want privacy, away from the city sounds. After the island's tour, we will definitely return here for a couple more days. Since the ocean is divine and the beach is at the hotel too
We stayed for a week at this hotel and later prolonged our stay after traveling to other places in Sri Lanka. Mirissa is amazing. And this hotel's location is perfect, next to beautiful Zouk restaurant. We could also relax on the terrace and enjoy the sunset, watching flying foxes. The room was nice and clean. We had everything we needed. The best local breakfast we have had in Sri Lanka with green curry. The owner family is incredibly nice and friendly. They helped us with any question and were always polite and smiling. It was a very pleasant stay. When we return to Sri Lanka we'll stay at this hotel in Mirissa.
The room was quite satisfactory, full of retro style, I took a lot of photos of the hotel as an attraction, it was so beautiful, I could enjoy the spectacular sunset, Mr. alone enjoyed the infinity pool, in the morning, I could see the peacocks by pushing the window, I simply integrated the hotel into nature, sitting in the pool in the morning, Enjoy a rich English and continental breakfast, this is definitely a life to enjoy, all the troubles are put in the back of the mind, it is worth living again, it is worth recommending to friends.
The alley is very deep, the hotel has a TukTuk car, otherwise you can't get out; the ecology is very good, you can see monkeys, squirrels, four-legged snakes when you open the door, there will be geckos in the room after rain, haha; the room is an open-air bathroom and toilet, I was worried about washing half of the monkeys and jumping off. Haha; Looking up is the stars and fireflies; meals and prices, during the Chinese New Year, are reasonable; but, the platform is said to be a twin room, and after the hotel is repeatedly confirmed, it is still a big bed; forget it, just one night, an extra bed is equivalent to more than 100 yuan; The reply was also very fast. The two people came in with a solid wooden single bed. The mattress and bedding were worthy of the price and quite comfortable. When the bride came to take wedding photos, it was indeed possible to take a picture here.
Very clean room. Nice communication prior to arrival, and very welcoming on check-in. Cold drink provided on check-in. The room feels is a little small, mainly because the bed is vast. In a perfect location in the Fort area, with the restaurants all within minutes of walking. Would highly recommend for a nights stay.
Located in the Galle Fortress, very close to the lighthouse, colonial charm, very friendly staff! Double room with 2 beds on the ground floor, rather dark, unfortunately full of cracks and therefore full of mosquitoes, air conditioning somewhat unreliable, mosquito nets for both beds more like a cloth coffin feeling... No kettle, room rather cramped, cleanliness okay, shower with good water pressure and warm, breakfast plentiful and delicious (coffee/tea, juice, a plate full of fruit, fried egg or omelette with sausages, toast with jam all you can eat, really absolutely delicious!
Замечательное месть, вид на море, по вечерам приятный бриз. Очень рекомендую, замечательные хозяева, Все что нужно, рядом.

TTourAmoI had a wonderful stay at Randiya Sea View Hotel! The location is perfect—right by the sea with a stunning view, especially during sunrise and sunset. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
The staff were friendly and always ready to help, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The hotel restaurant served delicious local dishes, and the breakfast spread was fresh and satisfying.
What I loved most was the peaceful environment and the easy access to the beach. It’s a great spot for relaxing, especially after a day of exploring. I’d definitely recommend Randiya Sea View Hotel to anyone visiting the area and would love to come back again.
GGuest UserA great hotel, location is very convenient. Near fish and fruit markets, bus station, currency exchange, supermarkets, wineshops and most importantly to the clean Hickey beach 4 minutes walk. The staff at the hotel handled their top-level tasks. I haven't seen the room clean so long. Bed-white. I was in the room with sea view ... a huge balcony with a dryer with a table and chairs. Water is always hot. Teapot, refrigerator, adapter, fan is all in the room. The most important is a common, clean kitchen - where there is microwave, baking, stove. And all in perfect cleanness. Thank you the huge host of the hotel Rajesh - met and held as a dear guest! The advice from the soul, as it is checked on itself)))
MM45349****Environment: The hotel has its own beach, which is very convenient for walking and clean
Room: Average, I was given a room on the third floor with a view of the golf course. Although it is a bit far to go downstairs to the beach, it is not humid
Service: I asked for water twice at 9 o'clock in the evening, and they promised very well, but they didn't deliver it. The room service is average. It was my mother's birthday, so I booked a cake when I checked in. When we had dinner in the evening, the chef and waiter brought the cake and sang to celebrate for my mother, which was very thoughtful.
Golf: I decided to play golf on a whim. The playing and tips were very cheap, but renting balls and buying gloves and balls was very expensive!!! It's outrageous. If you want to play golf, at least bring your own gloves and balls. Don't come here to buy expensive ones that make you want to cry. The golf course is well maintained, and the caddies are generally professional but full of emotions.
RRobin Lou MengFrom the moment we arrived, we were greeted by wonderfully friendly staff at the reception desk, and our positive impression continued when we saw our room. It was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean and a perfect space to relax in.
Unfortunately, our enthusiasm dipped when we looked out the window. We had eagerly anticipated the sea view we booked, but found ourselves on the first floor looking directly onto the main path to the restaurant. The lack of both a view and privacy was a real disappointment.
The challenges were compounded by a local festival taking place during our stay. This rendered the beach unusable due to the sheer volume of people. Worse, the road closures made leaving the hotel a logistical headache, leaving us feeling a bit trapped. A final frustration was discovering there were no shops nearby and no convenience store in the hotel itself, so be sure to pack everything you might need.
In summary, while we can't fault the hotel on its cleanliness or the friendliness of its staff, the experience was significantly hampered by the room mix-up and the festival chaos. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it was far from the relaxing getaway we had planned.
CClair SheehanJaga Bay Resort was fantastic! I arrived in town and the place I had booked did not have my booking and Jaga Bay came to the rescue.
This is a family run local business. Jaga the owner supports local children with their education through his own personal donations and those of past guests. I was being a sticky beak one morning as a crowd of women and children were having a little ceremony and thanking Jaga. He explained to me that since the tsunami the hotel and past guests supported orphaned children to finish their schooling. There are only two children left so now they support local children in need. This warmed my heart so much as I saw such genuine support and appreciation with everyone there.
I was in Weligama before a friend's wedding and was in desperate need for an under garment for my Sari. Jaga's wife and main office lady went above and beyond for me on new years eve...I managed to find an awesome tailor, personalised tuktuk driver's and first class service...and the best breakfast view!
I will always come back here.
Thank-you so much!
JjainRajatExcellent location. Quite nearby to mirissa harbour and weligama. Liked the property. They arranged a candle lit dinner setting nearby beach as it was my honeymoon on request for no additional charges.
Liked the beach, the swimming facilities and the buffet for dinner as well as breakfast.
Arranged breakfast box as i had to go on whale watching and would have missed my breakfast.
Very nice staff.
Only thing they can improve is a bit quick on service as we had to call multiple times for getting our room cleaned.
GGuest UserHotel is very comfortable and client oriented. We are happy to stay there. Thank you very much for beautiful holiday and hospitality. Especially I should mention the size and delicious of breakfasts. A lots of thanks to the cook team
NNizhaobudaowoEnvironment: Beautiful environment, facing the swimming pool and the beach. The sand on the beach is very fine, so you can go without shoes without worrying about the pain.
Service: The cleaning staff is very enthusiastic. Every morning when I come back from playing, there are many fresh flowers on the bed and elephants and dogs made of towels, etc., which makes me feel relaxed immediately!
