The hotel was conveniently located right next to Harimaya Bridge. There was also a multi-story parking lot, so there was no need to search for a parking space. The staff were friendly and I'd definitely come back. The frozen towels provided as an amenity were fantastic, especially in the scorching heat!
From JR Kochi Station, walk straight for about 400 meters and you will reach the hotel next to Kochi Bridge. There is a MY tour loop bus stop in front of Kochi Station, where you can go to the beautiful Katsura Beach and Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial. Walk 1.5 kilometers to Kochi Castle, and eat authentic Myojin Maru Kabayaki bonito along the way through Oiyamachi Shopping Street and the famous Hirosito Market. The hotel has complete facilities. On the top floor of the hot spring ♨️ across the road is the 711 convenience store, and there is a streetcar passing by the door.
The rooms are not big, all are of the same standard in Biei, breakfast and hot springs are the same, self-service check-in and check-out are very convenient! It is convenient in the city center and anywhere else.
It was great to be able to use the parking lot even when I got home late at night.
The room was clean and the water pressure in the shower was strong, which was great!
The room is very clean and space is very good in Japan standard. The front desk staff are super helpful.
I wanted to open a bottle of wine and didn't have a wine opener. When I asked the front desk staff. He tried his best to help and unfortunately there was not a wine opener and I borrowed a beer opener instead. Just a few minutes later, I managed to open the wine using the beer opener and I went down to the front desk to return the opener. When lift door opened, I saw the front staff wanted to get into the lift with a screwdriver and 2 screws in his hand. I was really so touched when I saw him not giving up and still wanted to help me. I am totally zero to Japanese, and I can't remember the gentleman's name unfortunately. I really want to say a big thank you to the gentleman who tried his best to help me.
The location of the hotel is good with a supermarket and a convenient shop next door.
There a massage chair in the room for guests to use at FOC.
I you drive, there is car park on-site and it's free.
The room is small but clean. Breakfast is semi-self-service. You can freely eat drinks, staple food, fruits, soups, vegetable salads and some local specialties. You can choose one main dish, which is very good. The only thing I didn't feel good about was the day I checked in. Due to the typhoon and heavy rain, I arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock and it was not the check-in time. I asked the front desk if there was a cleaned room that I could check in first so that I could change my wet clothes. The front desk clerk I checked the computer and said that I could pay 1,000 yen for early check-in. Although the amount was not much, I felt uncomfortable. In the past, when checking in in Europe, if there was a clean room, I would usually give the room card in advance. The hotel follows the rules but lacks human touch
the hotel room is nice , best shower even in Japan. but the sink is too low, good size for the child , too low for an adult the hotel has swimming pool, the pool is belong to the gym , normally require the membership ,but you just need to show the counter that you are staying in the hotel they will let you in. if you dont have the swimming suit, they have the swimming suit to borrow which was nice . they don't really speak English, that was a little tough to communicate. they have laundry machine at 3rd floor to use. the breakfast was acceptable , if you are foreigner, like western food , they have croissant, chocolate bread, salad, bacon. it was a good stay.
The boss's English is very good and the service is friendly. The location was a little far from the station, but I drove myself, so it's not bad. The disadvantage is that the soundproofing is really bad. The neighbor speaks louder and I can clearly understand what is being said. Breakfast is just a simple salad with side dishes. Rice and miso soup
The hotel garden is very beautiful. The service is very good. The room facilities are average but very comfortable. The public facilities are great. There are great scenery and shrines around. The transportation is very convenient. It is a 10-minute walk from Kochi Castle. I will come again. The breakfast is very complete and there is local bonito.

LLZHWhen we first arrived the front desk told us that we reserved a smoking room. In the trip.com booking it does not say so though. The front desk said all similar rooms for non-smoking were booked out.
We went up to the room but it smelled so bad that we asked agin for a different room showing them the booking. According to the hotel the booking was not directly forward to them by trip.com but by a different service therefore it varied from our actual booking. They were nice enough to give us a different room which was non-smoking. Unfortunately the room still smelled strange - at least no smoke smell.
Additionally there was almost no hot water coming out from the tap. In the photo the hot water was fully turned on.
Another issue was the parking. The one night stay fee was 1000 Yen (not for 24h). We checked out at 11 a.m. but decided to eat lunch in town and leave the car at the hotel parking. We took out the car at 2 pm and had to pay an additional fee of 1200 yen.
LLinyuRINGOThe hotel is about a ten to fifteen-minute walk from Nakamura Station. However, its proximity to souvenir shops, restaurants, and convenience stores makes it quite convenient. Just be aware that the nearby restaurant closes at 9 PM.
Breakfast is a complimentary buffet for guests. I can only say the Oden was delicious, but everything else was rather subpar.
It was fully booked due to Golden Week, so I couldn't switch to a non-smoking room. However, the window could be opened for fresh air and ventilation, and there was also a humidifier in the room, so I was still reasonably satisfied.
CChou ShihOf course not ,beautiful and wonderful city in Japan .Natural attractions with around city.Big thumbs up for the city but my room was same view of back hotel.I guess in-front of view is better I am an old customer who was long term stays this hotel in last summer 2024.
That’s why I’m came back and staying on winter time.Price was I paid raised this time very different from last summer and breakfast was great but after three days getting bored because of a little bit changed the vegetables juices , some meals and also reduced inside the room I didn’t see daily coffee and tea bags any more except a green tea bag .
Hotel staffs are great service. Big thumbs up too.

JjennylindaEnvironment: Great, the lobby is my favorite style. Outside the Italian restaurant is the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The sea and sky are so beautiful. Breakfast and dinner are all in this environment. It's so comfortable.
Service: Great! I also participated in the stargazing activity of the hotel in the evening. I saw the Big Dipper and many stars that I couldn't name. I was very happy.
Facilities: The hotel's outdoor hot spring is also excellent. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Ocean while taking a bath. The room is also very large. There are comfortable sofas and coffee tables in the window facing the Pacific Ocean. You can drink tea and look at the sea. It's comfortable

GGuest UserThis hotel lives up to its name! It is a modern chain hotel, where I can enjoy a bit of city life. The public bath is well-furnished and chic. The Yuzu bath is exceptional. It was relaxing. Very happy staying here
Though there are parking fee, charging 1000 yen per deeparture, which is quite unusal compare to the others places we stay in while we are in Shikoku.
