Clean room but tired. Bathroom might benefit from better cleaning. Nice bed and cold air con. Minibar and snack are not refilled so may wish to take photo when you get in to avoid potential issues.
Hotel very popular with families and conference, so expect very crowded lifts (hence delay) and noise in the corridor. Hint of smoke which might have permeated from ducting from other floor(s) at one juncture but not problematic.
Are we sure this is a 5 star hotel? Service was good, staff are friendly. Location is ok. Rooms need a bit of maintenance. The air con is TOO loud, particularly noticeable at night. No earplugs, no sleep! And connecting rooms are a nightmare if your neighbour wants to be loud all night. With so many rooms why would they allocate adjoining before normal? We had to change room after the first night. Hotel is OK overall
When I arrived in Medan for the first time, I chose Kama in the Chinese District on the first day. After getting familiar with the environment near the hotel, I chose a hotel in this different area on the second day and visited a famous durian shop nearby. The hotel room is spacious, the bed is clean, and the breakfast is good. However, I am not very satisfied with the surrounding environment of the hotel and the traffic jam is serious.
We had a pleasant stay overall. The room was very clean, though a bit small for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety, and the rooftop café was a nice place to relax, although the food and drinks were a bit overpriced. The resort layout feels a bit compact since it’s built on terraced land. One thing we missed was the cozy, local village vibe that Tuk Tuk is known for—the atmosphere here felt a bit more generic. Still, considering the limited similar-level options in Tuk Tuk, this resort is a decent choice and I’d consider staying here again.
1st time staying there..
Like the location.. near to Berastagi Supermarket and eatery.
Security was top notch.
Love the Blue Bird taxi standby ....
Front desk is very professional..
Cleanliness of Housekeeping is good and efficient
Facility is decent, room for improvement on keeping and maintain the place...
Only upset during the stay was the restaurant... Service not top notch to brand name..
Opted for the pre dawn / Sahur breakfast... Very much disappointment on selection, quantity and quality.
Top up very late.. n the egg station.. need to let the staff go for training..
The Hotel itself was lovely and a spacious room. However they post all over the hotel about the massages they offer and how professional they are. The service was horrible! It’s an in-room massage, and a bit expensive for Indonesia prices. They masseuses were texting the whole time, one hand massages while the phone is between your legs with them texting, or one handed back massage. When you looked at them, they tried to hide the phone. I’m very sensitive and I had to ask the lady 6 times to go softer, because every time she finished her texting she would go back to the original pressure which really hurt me. After our body scrub, they left the room a mess and we had to clean up. We asked for more towels to clean and we had to wait 40min, until I went down to reception again to re-ask. We complained to the hotel but all they could say was ‘we will talk to them’. I’m sorry but it doesn’t help how we feel and it ruined our night.
The bathroom did not have any ventilation fan nor a window for fresh air , hence it had mouldy smell.
There was only one tiny roll of toilet paper left on the toilet paper holder. NO spare toilet paper roll. We had to call housekeeping to ask for one more roll.
There was very little hot water the first night. So we had to take cold showers.
the second day, the hot water came back.
The view from the hotel was good.
The facilities were really poor.
It was a shame.

Comfortable Stay. Near everything, shopping mall, groceries, restaurant, temple. The staff is polite and kind. If you bring your own car, the staff will help you also so dont worry. Breakfast also good not perfect but good :D
Weekend rate is expensive compared with weekdays. Unfortunately there is no swimming pool or gym. Suitable for travellers who wants convenient around the city. For the price - yes i will return to the hotel again. Thumbs up.

SStcmallThe hotel was good, breakfast is delicious, the pool is located on the top of building was gorgeous view.
CCortinaThe newest hotel in Medan city. Beautiful facade and lobby with a small gym and swimming pool on level 2. We had a peaceful night sleep on level 6. Didn’t hear any loud music from the 16th floor of bar/disco. The only sound we heard is the occasional train that passes on the tracks which was nice to watch.
Welcome drink was appreciated on arrival. The breakfast buffet spread was lovely and extensive. It’s really walking distance to Delipark Mall. Will be back again.
Our Deluxe King room was alright but we found it weird when there is a notice to inform us not to flush toilet paper in the WC so had to use the bidet.

World class hotel. An opulent hotel experience. The room was very clean, quiet and peaceful with a nice view. The food and beverage outlets are amazing and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The service here amazing, free ice cream whilst waiting for check-in is just the tip of the iceberg. The deep joy pool, everyone should dive into once. Their luxury white fluffy towels, plush white bath robes and heavenly-smelling shower gels in tiny little bottles 一there's something about padding around in their fancy bathroom that feels gloriously decadent. The breakfast spread was a culinary delight, and the hotel's facilities, including the spa and fitness center, were top-notch. Located conveniently in the heart of the city, this hotel is the epitome of luxury. I highly recommend it for an unforgettable experience. Recommend this hotel to anyone that can afford it.

AAnonymous UserOld design hotel that need re set up again due to current lay out truly outdated and not fit to the latest facility as hotel. Hair dryer, lighting system, air conditioning without remote control 😐😐 appreciate to the hotel management to have a look on this situation. If this keep continuous happen.. Not impossible Danau Toba international hotel would be a collapsed and hope immediate action would taken 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
GGuest UserWonderful upscale hotel in Dolok Sanggul clearly catering to foreign tourists. It's an impressive place visually from the outside, with a roomy, partially open-air dining/restaurant area making full use of the beautifully mild climate of the mountainous area south of Lake Toba. Breakfast is served starting at 7am and the restaurant appears to be open all day, though service stops at 10pm except for room-service beverage requests. Beverages are primarily juices, teas and coffees, though beer is also an option (Bintang). Food options are a mix of Batak/Indonesia, Chinese and Western-style. Most of the Western options were either steaks or pasta, and they were out of the steak. Unfortunately, I ended up with food poisoning later that night but I don't think it's fair to ding them for that.
The room was very comfortable. An armoire for hanging clothes as well as another hanging rack. Complimentary towel and room slippers. Television had several HBO channels as well as more local programming, perhaps 12-15 stations total to choose from.
The bathroom is definitely oriented towards tourists. Some basic toiletries like toothbrush/toothpaste. Western-style flush toilet with both toilet paper and the traditional butt-gun water hose. Shower gave good hot water although controls were very touchy. There was a hand/body soap dispenser in the shower but no bar soaps in the bathroom or shampoo. There were no signs indicating you shouldn't drink the tap water but, it's Indonesia and you should never drink the tap water if you're a tourist. Two small bottles of water were in the room along with a coffee-maker.
Definitely a great option if you're in the area.

BBenjamin DavidHands down the best hotel in Medan!
Breakfast is incredible with the best iced coffee I have ever had. Service is so excellent with at least 3-4 of the staff coming to my table to bring me made to order eggs, made to order French toast, coffees, etc.
Brian was great!

Mmiss banzaiSecond time I have been staying in this hotel and I totally recommend it. The staff at the reception, Mr. Rio was really friendly and professional. He arranged a shuttle bus for us for a smooth transfer the next morning to the airport. The breakfast has lots of tasty choices. Also for dinner the atmosphere at the restaurant is really nice and tropical with a nice terrasse outside by the pool. That hotel is only 10min away by free shuttle bus from the airport. The rooms are spacious and clean. I totally love it.
