Swiss-Belhotel Sorong
4.4/544 Reviews
We needed a clean and quiet place for one night at each end of our week-long stay in Raja Ampat. The Swiss-Belhotel fit the bill perfectly with very comfortable rooms, helpful staff, and a full service dining with local and European cuisine. All this for a VERY reasonable price. We will be back.
Vogelkopf Resort
4.1/515 Reviews
We had an incredible stay at Vogelkopf Dive Resort in one of the newly built overwater rooms. The modern accommodations were immaculate, and the entire property was beautifully maintained. The boardwalk into the ocean is the longest we’ve seen among its neighbors, looping around over the reef making for delightful strolls. The snorkeling experience there has the perfect blend of sandy bottoms and vibrant coral. Plus, having two docks for speedboat pickups made it so convenient for our snorkeling/diving adventures. Second to the unparalleled diving experience, the food was a highlight of our stay! The authentic Indonesian dishes were home-cooked with love, and the chef welcomed special requests. The hosts were attentive, always checking if we wanted more until we were completely satisfied. Each dinner came with phenomenal homemade cakes, and it was wonderful to know that all the vegetables were grown right on the property. As our time at Vogelkopf came to an end, the owner and staff went above and beyond, personally helping us carry our luggage to the dock and onto the ferry. Their genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend Vogelkopf Dive Resort for anyone looking for a fantastic getaway!
Aston Sorong Hotel & Conference Center
4.4/579 Reviews
The Aston Hotel is nicer than other hotels I have stayed in Sorong. It is very close to the airport and has many guests that come to dive at Misool and on Raja Ampat liveaboards. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are nice with firm beds. The elevators are fast and I never had to wait more than 30 seconds for the lift. The food is good. The only negative, as has been noted by other TA reviewers, is that at certain nights on the 7th floor bar there is loud music. I was on the 5th floor and I could hear it. The trouble is as you get to the lower floors the noise from the street can be a problem. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at the Aston and I would hope to stay here again should I return.
M Hotel Sorong Managed by East Season
4.2/568 Reviews
The hotel room is spacious and clean and the amenities are good for this 3 stars rating. Provide with a safe for your safe keeping. The room which I stayed has windows and feel more opened and brighter. Bed is comfortable and has 2 pillows on each bed. Staff are courteous and friendly. The water pressure in the room is good for a shower and you have hot shower. However, the hotel is not too close to the main street which you have to take 10 minutes to walk to main junction. Overall assessment is comfortable and the concierge staffs are friendly and professional.
The Belagri Hotel & Convention
3.4/511 Reviews
Comfortable hotel located on the heights of Sorong, a little away from the city center. Kind and available staff. Nice room, clean and quiet air conditioning. Sea view. Good value for money. Special mention for the restaurant located at the top of the building with a view of the city and the sea. Super nice staff especially Tasya but service a little long. Breakfast is designed almost exclusively for Indonesians, which leaves only toast and eggs for those who don't want to tackle cooked meals first thing in the morning. It's a shame because the buffet is plentiful. There are few Western tourists in Belagri, this perhaps explains it.
Favehotel Sorong
3.9/547 Reviews
Great hotel for reasonable money. The room is clean, air conditioning, hot shower, comfortable beds, non-smoking rooms available. There is a balcony, without the possibility of going out onto it, i.e. Only the window opens. Within walking distance from the airport, literally 5-10 minutes on foot. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. The only downside is the lack of opportunity to hang things out to dry and the lack of access to the balcony. Next time I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Luxio Hotel Sorong

Aston Niu Manokwari Hotel & Conference Center
4/58 Reviews
After a night flight we had 7 hours waiting in Manokwari and decided to go to Aston, because its located very close to the airport. Outside the hotel looks great, but rooms are pretty worn out and definitely not 4 stars. + very friendly, helpful and efficient receptionist + clean sheets and towels, coffeemaker, fridge + breakfast: nor many western dishes, but plenty fruits, cakes, omelette - no sign for do not disturb, so just after we fell asleep, housekeeping belled us awake Alltogether, if you have to stay in Manokwari Aston is a good option.
Meridian Adventure Marina Club & Resort
4.6/546 Reviews
i visited this resort specifically to go scuba diving in the areas close to Waisai that my liveaboard trip did not include. The sites themselves are great however i would suggest divers request for local dive masters for all their dives. There are a number of non-indonesian dive masters who are either not good (eg.. on a night dive one non-indonesian dive master missed an octopus which i pointed out then he actually put his go pro in front of mine while i was filming the octopus !!! i pushed his arm aside but he continued anyway ) or don't have enough knowledge of the marine life in the tropics (when i pointed out a shrimp that is commonly found in these waters, the dive master said she had never seen them before -- face palm!!). The resort looks fairly new and they still have some issues to sort out -- like when it rained outside, it also rained inside my room!!! The local staff are very friendly and try their best so 5 stars to them but 3 stars for management.

I would love to recommend Swiss-Belhotel Manokwari for your Business and Leisure visit to Manokwari, West Papua. Hotel has Great location close by to the AirPort only 10 minutes, they do have Great Hospitality. Best hotel in town. Great lobby area and Restaurant down stairs. Restaurant so beautiful with full of variance of breakfast to pamper yourself. They do have outdoor Pool also gym area and they do offer spa treatment as well. Room got spacious and nice inside, recommended to book Grand Deluxe. The highest one I got chance to see was Presidential Suite which is feeling homey and big space. For you who wants to have meeting activities they do have some Meetings Rooms and Big Ballroom. So many meeting rooms so you can have such as Big conference. I got chance to explore some nature area which can be accessed close by from hotel around 15 minutes by car to see Mansinam Island, the first land to have gospel in Papua. You can have some historical places inside the island while the last you can enjoy beautiful white sandy beach with clear water by swimming in safe. Of course when you go to Manokwari, many things to explore such as Diving, Snorkeling, Surfing, Bird Watching, to see the tribes which need to access by hiking as well as going to Gunung Botak the beautiful landscape of hills with the Ocean and white sandy beach. I left my heart in this City the nature so beautiful and unbelieveable with the local people who can bring you good memory. The Hospitality service from all Teams start from Security to Front Office, Restaurant, Housekeeping all of them are trully have their passion. I would highly recommended to stay at Swiss-Belhotel Manokwari, West Papua. Will be back soon for my holiday with my son soon. Thank you Swiss-Belhotel Manokwari, West Papua ❤️.
