Nice hotel located on a lake in the middle of a beautiful and maintained facility. Our room was large and had a balcony directly over the lake. Very comfortable bed, good air conditioning, all windows with mosquito nets. There is also a small pool and many seating furniture in the garden. Daily room service, free water, swimming pool towels. I felt the proximity to the noisy street in early morning hours as disturbing. There is a beautiful open restaurant, also located directly on the lake, to which you are dependent when you are on the way, like us, without car. It is really very bad that the relatively high room price does not include breakfast. The breakfast you get for BZD 17 is not very good and quite little. Boat trips to the Mayaruins of Lamanai are possible and very recommended, although relatively expensive.
