A good choice to stay at Voss as it is next to the train station, bus terminal and gondola station. You can take a walk along the beach just across the road after filling yourself with a great breakfast. There is a takeaway Japanese food shop nearby and the salmon sushi is tasty.
Hotel service fee is very good, the room is slightly old, parking spaces are rarely needed to park in, breakfast is half 🏨 scenery can also be worth your visit, the hotel price is right
Located on the edge of the Sognefjord, the historic hotel has a beautiful view from the balcony. After 10 pm, the private beach is beautiful in the afterglow; the rooms are small but clean and tidy, and the standard facilities of European hotels are acceptable. No highlights; the hotel's buffet dinner of 615 krona is OK for local consumption. The food has crab claws, sweet shrimps, various fish and vegetables, as well as boiled lamb and beef. It tastes good; breakfast is OK, don't pursue Asian tastes will feel great; parking is free for guests, which is convenient for self-driving travel; in short, recommend this hotel, the price is high but it is worth living.
The location of this hotel is ideal for very early morning flights out of Bergen. Room is clean and quiet, but not provided with any kettle, cup, tea bags or instant coffee. I had to ask for a kettle from the reception and carried it to the room.
Fantastic stay at Quality Hotel Sogndal. Staff at reception, breakfast and bar were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean, and well layed out, all necessities available, and mattresses, duvets and pillows excellent. The hotel has three restaurants, we tried only Vagal (excellent burgers) and Pergola (lovely pastas and pizzas), and really enjoyed the food and wine on offer. Loved our stay at the Quality - will definitely come back again!
The room is not very big, but the wash area is spacious. It's less than 10 minutes' walk from the terminal, which is okay. There is a free breakfast starting at 4 o'clock, whether you have booked breakfast or not, you can eat all the politeness. The service staff are very enthusiastic. Our window is facing the runway, which is suitable for children to watch the plane.
Location and view are amazing. It’s few stops from city Center and convenient located just 2 mins away from the metro. The view from the room is harbor and boat, you can enjoy a nice sunset just at the hotel’s bar. grocery mart is few mins walk and there are few bakery nearby for breakfast as well. Staff are super friendly.
In fact, the hotel's hardware facilities are better, and it is not far from the airport. It is about seven or eight minutes. The management is not in place. The three bottles of the shower have shampoo. The rest are not replenished.

GGuest UserThe hotel is easily accessible to all touristic places in Bergen, it’s only 5mins to the Bergen habour.
Staff at the reception is friendly.
The room that we booked is a little bit small for two people but the interesting point of the room is the high glass ceiling.
CChiu FranzSimple style and clean. But I prefer to have a folded table and a chair.
The room is a little bit small and the window cannot close. I have told the staff but no action has done.
The single bed is also small. I prefer to change it to a sofa bed and can change to a semi-bed when necessary.
Very nice breakfast. Good security. Staff are nice and helpful (except the window case). Enjoy have a bottle of beer in the hotel pub.
Frankly to speak, the price is too expensive. It is the truth that Norway has high living rate but I really don't think a small room worth around US$250 per night.
Prefer to have a small open space in the hotel for smoking.
AAnonymous UserThe reception staff are friendly and helpful. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the train station and light rail station for the airport. The breakfast is good.
We came back after away for the 3-day Norway in a Nutshell tour. We left our suitcases in the hotel storage room while we were away and travelled relatively hand-free.

GGuest UserThe room is 20 square meters, not big. The waiter forgot to put drinking water on the first night. I took medicine for allergies in the middle of the night and there was no water to drink. I drank tap water. Fortunately, the tap water in Norway is drinking water.
There was a violin performance at breakfast. I listened to it while eating breakfast. It was pretty good.
AAToiI recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic.
What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century.
GGuest UserEverything was good and for people that didn’t receive the check-in instructions just go to this address : « Nedre Korskirkeallmenningen 1 a » it’s 3 min walk from the hotel and they will be happy to help you
GGuest UserThe hotel is a former stock exchange with a certain sense of design, but the rooms are rather cramped. The breakfast restaurant is beautiful. If you stay, you must add breakfast. The hotel is located within a 6-minute walk from cable cars, hot chocolate, piers and other attractions. You can park your car at the door of the hotel to unload your luggage and check in, but the parking lot is actually quite far away, 7 minutes by car, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk back to the hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel is fantastic!
Staff
Very kind and genuine. Made me feel welcome right away with a big smile and make sure everything is all right.
Amenities
There is access to a full kitchen. The share toilet and shower were always clean.
Rooms
The beds are very comfortable and the duvet makes it feels as you sleep on a cloud.
Location
It is one train station away from Voss Sentrum. The area around the hotel is very peaceful and quiet.
Decor
I loved all the objects on display in the hallway and the rooms. It looks like a museum!
Café
There is a very cozy coffee downstairs to watch tv or warm up by the wood fire. They have cakes, donuts coffee...
I absolutely want to go there again. When I go back to Norway that place is where I want to be!!!
GGuest UserIt’s just okay and nothing special. It won’t win awards for the aesthetics and the room is so small I don’t know how I’d manage if there were two of us, it’s a tight squeeze. Staff are hit and miss some are friendly and helpful and others seemed to have an attitude. Location is great and it’s close enough to everything you’ll need in Bergen. You can hear a lot of noise from the room, chairs scraping on floors and chat from other rooms so bring white noise! View from room of harbour great if you get a top floor.
