From the time we walked through the front door to when we left two days later all was perfect. The staff very happy and helpful. The room was very nice and well appointed . We chose this hotel because it is connected to-the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal. It is close too many eateries. Ifwe return in the future we will rebook. This is a five star hotel. Thanks all.

The service is good, the people at the front desk are very friendly. The hotel is remodeled from an old house, the design is good, but the internal structure of the room is rather cramped. The location is OK, the transportation is convenient, but it is not very close to the central station.

The waiter has a very good attitude and explains in detail the location of hotel facilities, wifi passwords, etc., and the waiter will take the initiative to help you carry your luggage to the room. The only drawback is that there are many stairs along the way from the hotel lobby to the room, which is inconvenient. The overall room is tidy and very comfortable👍🏻

After booking one extra night they didn't allow me to stay at this room. But has to check out before 10 and come back again after 15. Than I try to cansel the reservation but the stoburn administration didn't accept. I'm not pleased with this nonsense.
Ibis Styles Delft City Centre

The environment is very good, very clean, right next to the train station, the hotel staff is very nice, more spitting is that there is no hot water bottle, but European hotels basically do not have hot water bottles

The hotel is somewhat hidden between buildings, making it difficult to locate—even our Uber driver struggled to find the entrance. The front door resembles the back entrance of a commercial building, which made for an unwelcoming first impression. While the staff were very friendly and helpful, we encountered some challenges with accessibility. We had to climb two steep flights of stairs to reach our room, which could be an issue for guests with heavy luggage or mobility concerns. The room itself was extremely small. The bed was only about a foot away from the bathroom and toilet, which made the space feel cramped and uncomfortable. Additionally, there were no windows in the room, except for one facing the corridor where other guests frequently walk by, offering little privacy or natural light. There were no amenities provided, and breakfast was not included in the rate, which made the stay feel like poor value for the price. If you aren't a backpacker looking for the most basic accommodations, I would recommend considering other options such as the Holiday Inn Express, which may offer better value and comfort.
City Hotel Gouda, WorldHotels Crafted Collection
4.3/558 Reviews
Smart hotel in a good location for exploring historical Gouda. Well-equipped and comfortable room - with kettles available (although not in the room as standard). Nice high pressure shower, good aircon, nice, quiet room. I didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked really nice. There was lots of rather strange, slightly unnerving artwork of people eating cheese... The artwork looked AI generated and overall felt cheap and at odds with the rest of the hotel's design. The hotel made a show about being eco and 'environmental', however the bathroom cups were wrapped in plastic - this is completely needless (no one ever wraps the coffee cups in plastic!). Worryingly, on check-in the receptionist insisted that I hadn't paid in advance and made me pay on the spot. When I later checked this I found that, as I thought, I HAD indeed paid in advance. To be fair, when I showed her evidence on my phone she immediately initiated a refund, but really - how can that be allowed to happen?? Surely it should all be on the hotel's system. If I hadn't spotted the mistake I would have paid twice. Not impressed!

I had a satisfying stay in The Hague yesterday, so I'll just make do with it today. Although the rating is not high and there are indeed many problems (especially a bloody drama in the corridor in the middle of the night, with a bunch of men and women crying, laughing, fighting and scolding), it is better than those three-star boutique hotels in Amsterdam. The room is good with a desk and chair, and the bathroom is brighter and more spacious than expected. By the way, there is a supermarket a few steps away, which is very convenient.
Grand Hotel Central

Location is good, in a newly developed area filled with modern buildings, less than 10 minutes walk from Rotterdam central station if you know the right direction. The hotel interior is old, but they try to keep up by offering necessary supplies such as paper cups, tea bags, kettle, and disposable slippers (the last one is no more common practice in Europe). With the reasonable price, it is an ok choice for a short stay.
