Goodevening! I have been in Namibia for 9 years to participate in the Luderitz Speedchallange and have stayed at the Luderitz Nest Hotel every year. There are only good things to say about how well the team & crew take care of you from the first minute you take a step into the hoteldoors. It is clean and the kindness is amazingly nice and not made up but from the heart. It is my pleasure to tell everyone that if you want to experience comfort, friendship and an incredible story, you should stay at the Luderitz Nest Hotel and they will show you where to go to get the absolute best experience in Luderitz and namibia. Personally I love Luderitz and getting to the hotel after 9 hours driving through the desert, but very good roads so don't worry. It is safe and everyone is very friendly. Wonderful place to stay. We were on a driving tour, organised by others and had no clue where we were staying from one night to the next. This Gondwana Collection lodge set the bar for all the other places we stayed at (two others from the same owners). Our lodge room was spacious enough, excellent showers and comfortable bed with excellent linens and pillows. We had one issue with air conditioner unit, someone attended within 5 minutes and fixed this, great service. The food was fresh, good and plentiful, which is amazing considering you are almost in the middle of nowhere. The pool and view from it were a bonus. We would be very happy to stay there again

Bizarre hotel with high walls and barbed wire surrounding it; it felt like a compound. There was even a patrolling guard. This raised many questions in my mind... We didn't arrive early, yet there was a problem with my shower door, and they had to repair it before I could get the room. Seems they would know that a group was coming and maybe do the repairs beforehand. That said, the room had a sitting room, wifi, a/c, and was quiet and clean.
