Old hotel with average service, it's main function is to serve as a convenient location if you have to catch an early flight. The room is comfortable, but if you book the cheaper rooms they will send you to another wing, difficult to carry heavy luggage up to the rooms as the pathway to get there from the lobby is not well arranged with steep ramps.
I was a bit hesitant when booking this hotel, wondering if it would be noisy being on the street. It turned out to be not noisy at all, as the hotel has two layers of windows, and when they are closed, you can hardly hear anything outside. Transportation is very convenient; it takes less than half an hour to get to Constitution Square on Line 2. The room was very clean, and the sheets were changed every two days. The air conditioner can be set to cool or heat. It is easy to adjust and the noise is very low. The hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast, which you can order from the menu, with a variety of flavors. The hotel restaurant is good and affordable, and no tipping is accepted. It would be perfect if the shower water temperature was more stable.

Times at this hotel. Each time we had another issue. This time Wi-Fi wasn’t working in the morning but t my room 508 was quiet. Last time I stayed at 102 which was exactly above the aircon s. The staff was friendly and welcoming every time. It’s located in a central position of reforma avenue. I walked to the Hidalgo surroundings as well as to Chapultepec park although it’s pretty far . I liked the beauty of the architecture and the old style. It is in dire need of renovationbut still a nice place …
The lady at the service desk received me very patiently. The room was very clean and big enough, the facilities were complete, and the network was very good. Unfortunately, I didn't book more time. I will give priority to choosing here next time. ~

It was a superb experience staying at this hotel. Almost everything is perfectly done and I was amazed from the front desk, the cafeteria, the rooms, breakfast services and choices of food. I experienced great hospitality comparing to other hotels nearby. I told my friends in New york and California to book at Zocalo Central hotel if they are visiting Mexico city. The centro historico is a great location where the hotel us located. See you again.
Thanks Zocalo, you are amazingly one of a kind place to stay away from home.
A bunch of black people are making a lot of noise every night. There is a place to eat upstairs and they dance until 12 o'clock! Please, this is a hotel.

Great hotel right in the center of everything. The people there are very nice. WIFI was a bit inconsistent and they didn’t provide toothpaste. Everything else was fantastic!

there were bedbugs in the room. The hotel itself is clean but with bedbugs. Close to the center. We had to fight for breakfast. I have it included, they don't. The first day I spent a long time figuring it out. The breakfast itself is meager. 1 glass of orange juice, a choice of sandwich, eggs and pancakes and coffee. This is not a buffet!
It's not a quite nice experience living there. Can you imagine a 4-star business hotel unable to provide WIFI service during the entire SUNDAY? And the front desk said they can do nothing about that situation.
Unbelievable!
Besides those, it's an okay choice for biz trip.

The location of the hotel is convenient and the hotel's swimming pool is a plus. I am not very satisfied with the service at the front desk overall. Free drinking water is not provided. I contacted the customer service of the hotel group and explained that it was a matter of membership.

AAhmed AwwadI recently stayed at the Sheraton Maria Isabel in Mexico City, and overall, it was a good experience. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location—it’s right on Reforma Avenue, next to the U.S. Embassy, so it felt very safe even though there were some peaceful demonstrations happening nearby related to rent increases and the current situation in Mexico.
The room was spacious and comfortable, but it did feel a bit old and outdated. The bathroom floor had some cracks, which wasn’t a big issue but worth mentioning. It could definitely use some renovation in the future.
On the bright side, the breakfast was really nice. Good variety, fresh options, and great service.
If you care about being in a central, secure area with decent amenities, this hotel is a solid choice—just don’t expect a modern, freshly renovated space.
XXMGSKKThe hotel is located in the downtown area. It is very convenient to go shopping and eat nearby. There are many choices. There are many bars near the hotel. It is very convenient to stay in this location if you are traveling in Mexico City. The hotel is good overall. The facilities are not very new, but it meets the needs overall.
GGuest UserIt's incredibly convenient for late arrivals or early morning flights. Both the service and the food were very good, and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast. The only slight drawback is that the hotel felt a bit dark in some areas due to a lack of windows.

GGuest UserEverything was fine though the shower was from iceberg cold to barely warm, no where near hot. A hot shower is one of the more important details for a hotel room, especutan executive hotel. I took a shower around 10 pm, and another at 4:45 am and both showers were at the same cool temperature despite the water temperature being at the hottest faucet setting.
The bed was comfortable, the air temperature was exactly what we wanted, the little coffee packet was fine, the mini fridge was cold, the water pressure was good, the Internet was fast enough, and the TV screen was large(60”?). There were plenty of things that were good, but we really wanted and expected a hot shower, especially given the price of the room. (Room 105)
We didn't have time to mention the water temperature as we were on a tight travel schedule. Nonetheless, a hot shower is an obvious expectation for an executive hotel or even lower end hotels and motels.
RRon96The lobby sets the tone with its quirky, colorful decor—think neon lights, geometric patterns, and local art celebrating Mexican culture. Check-in was a breeze thanks to the friendly, bilingual staff, who offered quick recommendations for nearby tacos al pastor (a must-try!). The vibe is modern, youthful, and unpretentious—perfect for millennial travelers or families looking for a fun, hassle-free stay.
HHussain Ismail from LondonReally nice hotel with people that are really friendly. Clean, smells really, and serviced really well. The desk staff were really friendly and helpful. Rocío cleaned and looked after my room really well! Thanks Rocio.
The Spa and gym was amazing - especially the staff who were really helpful and kind. The trainer Ariel was really helpful showing me various training routines and ways for thinking about exercise - he is an expert in Judo (black belt!). Alexis was really helpful with the spa facilities. Thanks Ariel and Alexis!
The beauty salon run by Azul was really good and especially with the treatments she offers! She convinced me to start looking after the smaller things about my appearance. It is the people that make a place and in this case in Hotel Marquis Reforma. I will definitely go back. Thanks Azul!
Thanks Hotel Marquis Reforma! See you soon.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by many restaurants of different flavors, and the streets are beautiful, which is very suitable for eating and shopping. The room is large, the hygiene is good, and the doorman is very nice (I forgot to tip...). The only uncertainty is that there is no air conditioning. I checked in in March, and it might still be a little cold at night, but I don't know if it will be a problem in summer.
GGuest UserAs you enter the lobby strong smell of artificial perfume surrounds you which made me nauseous.
We were upgraded to kingbed room.
Shower head was broken. Shallow sink was designed for looks only. It splushes water The large structural column by the window takes up the whole one corner of the room. The room is small enough not accommodate lounge chair. Espresso maker is also broken as to the pod doesn’t stay and fall through. If you are carefully pressing it down slowly it will stay where it get skewered.
This hotel is not a bad hotel. Great location. Staff is as nice as many restaurants and hotels in town. I will not stay here again because there are plenty of better hotels and rentals to stay in Mexico City.
GGuest UserGood location closed to lots of good restaurants and coffee shops. Friendly staff that can speak English. Clean and large rooms with good shower water. I was even offered free cookwares so that I can cook my own meals. There is a restaurant onsite as well. The only thing is to aware that it’s cold at night in Jan(air conditioner unit in bedroom, which I should’ve turned on). Highly recommend!
