The room was amazingly nice. The free taxi service was so friendly. The view from the onsen is absolutely breathtaking. However, there is room of improvement for the breakfast.

The room is very Japanese style, the landscape courtyard in the hotel is very beautiful, the hot spring in the room is also very comfortable, and you will feel slippery after soaking. Because it is a one-night stay, the setting of dinner and breakfast is also very experiential. You can deeply experience the old-fashioned service style. The room is so huge that you may even get lost. (Maybe this is the old money style

First of all, I like to give a credit to 2 lady staff in this hotel. The first one is the lady who can speak fluent English, she tried very best to answer us and helped us to carry the baggage to the shuttle bus. The other lady staff in the front desk on 15/3 night going to my room to fix room facilities and helped me to out the luggage to the shuttle bus on 16/3 too. The hotel in general all staff are nice and helpful. If you like to see sunrise, you better remarked it when you did the booking or ask the check in staff when arrival. The French restaurant is delicious. Public Onsen provided in a convenient time slot. We enjoyed our stay very much. Only recommend the hotel can include breakfast or snack in the room charge.

Dinner was delicious, with sashimi and fish in general. There was so much I couldn't finish it, with rice cooked in a pot, sushi and tempura. Also, since it was all-inclusive, there were drinks and snacks everywhere, which was nice. I was able to go to the baths empty-handed and there was no inconvenience.

The location is OK, about 10 minutes walk from Numazu JR Station, no convenience store within 200 meters. The girl who checked us in at the front desk looked like an Indian (Bangladesh) girl, she was very nice and gentle, and sent us to the elevator. At 10 o'clock in the morning, the uncle who was cleaning rang the doorbell, which affected our sleep a little. Everything else was OK, the room was medium in size, a 28-inch suitcase could not be fully unfolded, but a small suitcase could be.

In summary, I quite enjoy staying in this hotel. If it’s going to renovate, it would be much much better. The hotel is located near the sea side, allowing it has a spectacular sea view. But it’s not convenient for people going from station to the hotel on foot. I had a baby and two pieces of big luggage. Exhausted when I got to the hotel. What’s more, I need to climb down 10+ steps to get to use the elevator. The room seating is good if the condition is 20years newer. The combination of Japanese and western style is my cup of tea. But I have to admit that the onsen is good.if it can be operated longer, it would be better. The highlight of the hotel is its breakfast. I didn’t expect much. But it ended up suprise me. Food choice was great, environment was great and the food was great!

The hotel has a good location, less than ten minutes' walk from Izu Atagawa Railway Station. It provides pick-up and drop-off services, which need to be booked one day in advance. The service is super good. I remember that the front desk staff is called Asami, who can understand a little English. From the beginning of check-in, he will carefully introduce every detail that will be encountered in the hotel. Every staff member I met later is super enthusiastic, including the male staff who sent us to the railway station (forgot to see his name), whose English is not bad. You can feel that this country has taken service to the extreme! The room is very spacious, the facilities are relatively new, the functional design is reasonable, and the sea view is unique. The hot springs are divided into indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pool listens to the sound of the sea and relaxes to get rid of the fatigue of a day's travel~ The swimming pool downstairs is heated, and many people play in it, and you can drink a free drink~ The booked one meal and two nights is still very convenient in Izu Atagawa, and the taste is really delicious. I stayed for two nights and was reluctant to leave. I recommend everyone to stay here in Izu~

I suppose the charm of Atami is that the whole area is a little bit 'dated' as far as a resort goes, and this hotel definitely aligns with that - it seems like a place that was once great and is now kind of just rolling along bringing in what money it can. The food is serviceable but totally uninspired - an upscale cafeteria masquerading as something better than it is with 'chefs' wearing their whites. The entire dining room constantly smells of fryer oil from the tempura - which they still make and keep stock of in such large quantities that it is never fresh and crispy anyways (especially the shrimp, which has not been sufficiently dried before battering). The remaining hot dishes are very disappointing both in terms of variety and overall flavor. The sushi and sashimi is the standout of the food, although it too is very basic - not anything that will blow your mind, but acceptably tasty and reasonably fresh (although on our second night everything tasted a bit soapy/bleachy). As a westerner you will be very disappointed by the breakfast, although that's a 'me' problem rather than a hotel problem per se. The spa facilities are nice but a bit dated - be careful in your selection of both time and location unless you want to be surrounded with many loud (mostly Chinese) children. Private spas are available and are quite nice, although again dated. Nonetheless at around 60 USD for an hour the price is good for the privacy, especially as a westerner who is otherwise subject to quite a bit of staring at this mostly local and Chinese spa. We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed, and a (For japan) reasonably sized tub. Room and desk service was good. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but has regular free shuttles to/from Atami station, which is where the main tourist streets for shopping etc can be found. Highly suggest checking out Golden Eye for some excellent Ramen.

XXenia GohThis was hands down one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in many - work covered, expensive ”5 star hotels”. We had perfect views of Mt. Fuji. The rooms were huge and super well fitted out. It's not the best location wise if you're wanting to go shopping in Gotemba, but this didn't bother us as we hired a car and drove there on our own. The service was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly attentive and went way beyond and above. The driver drove us to our destination (Gotemba train station that we requested) and then realized we were standing around looking where to go - he came over and asked if we were lost and drove us to the correct location (the car rental shop). The reception gave us a tour of the area to make sure we knew where the lifts were, how to use the various facilities (especially the onsen). If you have kids or traveling as a couple, I couldn't recommend this place more.

GGuest UserA hotel that must be given 5 points. I booked the trip one day in advance, and all the famous hot spring hotels in Atami were sold out. I only booked this one, and it even gave me a free ticket to Fuua Spa. I was very surprised and liked it very much. And the pudding that has a long queue in Atami shopping street is also available. The room has a sea view terrace, which is very new, and the shower room is also large and comfortable. The buffet dinner, the hot dishes are average, and the desserts and sashimi sushi are very fresh

JJUNHO(I stayed at the Ezaki building) The interior facilities are very good. There are two shower rooms in the duplex-type independent building, so it is spacious and nice. There is a bit of a distance between the check-in counter and the accommodation, but... a red-haired English-speaking staff member at the check-in counter personally guides you. He is very funny. I have been to Japan many times, but this was the first time I had a language barrier like this, but I can't tell you how good it was to communicate with this person in English. The room is clean, and there are two beddings except for the bed, but it is not just a mat, but a topper, so it is comfortable enough, and the bed is also comfortable and nice. The service cookie is just Lotus flavored. They gave me a drink coupon as a welcome drink, but I couldn't use it, which was a shame. A convenience store is also about 5 minutes away?? Unlike regular hotels, you have to take off your shoes to enter, so it was more convenient, and anyway, the facilities are good and clean, so it was nice. There are department stores, shopping malls, Wasabi House, drugstores, Nanaya, and other shopping streets within 10-15 minutes, so it's good. The only downside is that security can be a bit weak...? Since it's Japan, there's no such risk burden, but it feels that way. It's a structure where you enter by holding the door lock key behind the wall, but um... (see photo) Anyway, that's it... So there's a little noise from cars passing by. But it's okay. Everything is great. Oh, and the doorbell sound was also the convenience store bell sound, so it was funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If you're thinking about going here, it might be good to go ㅎㅎ Oh, another interesting thing is that you can send various inquiries or things you need to know before check-in through email chat starting the day before check-in.

CCarl the WandererI’d be highly likely to recommend this to my family and friends coming to Gotemba for the first time. 1. Very accessible to the JR Gotemba train and Gotemba Eki bus stations (they are just across the hotel. Nice great restaurants around this hotel. 2. Good services, friendly reception 3. Good value for money I could have stayed for more days here but all rooms were already fully booked by then.
