Batu has been one of my favorite destinations in Indonesia and this is mainly thanks to this hotel. The place was magnificent, the breakfast incredible but more than that all the staff were super nice and welcoming the servers, the cooks, the security, the room staff and the reception staff!!! Thank you very much for you’re kindness !😊

Second time staying here~ The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Last minute requesting for a change of date, they are very patient and helpful and manage to solve my problems!

We were welcomed with a beautiful lobby followed by a view of animals on a big grass field. The staff at the reception spoke decent simple english - that was very helpful. The rest of the staff spoke very little or no english, so that made communication difficult. We booked the room with Safari view. It was lovely to sit on the balcony overlooking the big grassland of animals. They aren't a lot animals but nice enough for a safari feel/view. We just wished there were at least 2 chairs at the balcony. We had to fight for that 1 chair. It was lovely to order room service to sit at the balcony. It would be good if there is a step stool in the bathroom for children to use the sink. It would be easier for parent to shower child if there was a handheld shower instead of just an overhead shower. There are free carrots feeds provided in the room. It is 1 free refill per day. We like that there is a water machine along the corridor, so we can just refill our water easily. The swimming pool water is FREEZING COLD, with their cool weather, how I wish the pool has heated water... or since it is a small sized, why not convert it to a heated jacuzzi? Food at the restaurant was simple, we just wish there were more local Indonesian food choices. They need to improve of timing on their service as it takes 20 min for a drink and about 30 min for food (in a off peak time). The pizza is basic nothing fancy or exciting. Prices are affordable IMHO. Breakfast or Dinner with the Giraffe - I would highly recommend you to WA the hotel to book it the minute your room is reserved, best recommended to take the first slot. For Carnivore Feeding, the best experience is also the night feed, and take the first ride. In fact, there are quite a lot to do in that small area. So perhaps 4 to 5 nights would cover every activity nearby. Do take note that some activities only available Friday and Saturday!

The staff in the horizon club were excellent, in particular, Sania was always ready to greet us with a smile and help with our queries. It was a great atmosphere in the horizon club. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable and the hotel has extensive facilities. The pool was not busy and our children really enjoyed it. As others have noted the hotel is dated in places, but staff work hard to keep it maintained. We did have an issue with one of the pillows in our room which was brown due to staining, it wasn’t ideal, we asked for a replacement but the room service put 2 pillow cases on instead. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room was spacious and well maintained event this isn't brand new building. My initial booking was for 1 night only but after I spent the first night I decided to extend another day with request another room that facing to Jalan Basuki Rahmat. Ms. Fara was helped to find my request and she asking Mr. Reva to showing me some room. They were very nice, friendly and informative. Also I thank Mr. Komarus- the room attendant who really friendlt and well in clean my room, he help to explain the function of AC which is I got confused. Then the security - Mr. Haryono also nice and informative when I asks about surrounding interesting places to visit and eat. For Room Service : I ordered Fried Gurame and Pizza , All was good. The area to improve : 1. Level of hot water need to be better 2. The noisy from AC need to be fix Other than that all experiences went extraordinary stay ! Thanks Wyndham Surayabaya, absolutely ,I will be back !

Hotel’s ambience is relaxing. Ocean is at the hotel’s backyard with huge greeneries, coconut trees, and simply beautiful.  Breakfast spread is not bad, the taste is so so. Swimming pool is infinity style and quite big. There is also gym in the hotel.  Room is small, bed is only 100 x 200 for twin. Separate toilet and shower room which size is in the smallish end. Balcony is quite big so you could sit down and enjoy reading. If you want to go with family, book enough room as there is no extra bed except in suites (sofa bed style).  As it is near the ocean, it could be windy.  You need car/transport to go around as it is not exactly in the city centre.  Good place to relax if you happen to be in East Java.

The hotel is well located. Service was very good from the staff. Unfortunately, they don’t have a NO plastic policy, I would suggest to implement a place for refilling water bottles instead of giving bottles of water to clients and contribute to decreasing contamination. That’s the not suggestion I have.

Excellent cost benefit. The hotel isn't new, but it still works properly. They have either smoking and non smoking floors. The newly decorated rooms are non-smoking. Swimm pool, gym, sauna, friendly staff

The service was amazing and the facilities, the staff is putting the detail even in public facilities like fitness center and swimming pool, very well maintaned
