Worth for every JPY you've spent!! This is the best hotel for my trip. The location is just 30 sec. from the train station and bus stop, connected with the main street, and very close with the convenient store. The hotel style is so gorgeous, perfect combination between the traditional Japanese house and modern facilities. Completely clean and good smell since the front door. Peaceful, relax, and private. The Onsen are so nice and clean. And, yes! The food (both breakfast and dinner) are soooooo good!! I'm so happy with this hotel. Fulfill my trip with the good memories.

Rooms are a tad bit small but standard for japanese hotels. Location is very good, a few minutes walk from Beppu station and lots of eateries closeby. I love that this hotel had a rooftop pool with amazing view of beppu (although pool very shallow). We had a nice little soak in the hotel onsen however my partner stated the onsen was a bit dirty in the male section. We unfortunately didn't get to enjoy the free flow of alcohol for 1000 yen due to time constrain but would be good for alcohol lovers! Would definitely recommend and return! Nice, clean and friendly staff!

The hotel is located about 7 minutes walk from Yufuin station. It is not so close to the walking street and so not so noisy and crowdy. The staff are polite and can explain to us in English. The room is big and they will serve you the tatami bed at 6pm. There are 2 public onsens, one for men and one for women. Only 1-2 people were using when I went in. I didn't book the dinner and breakfast there because there are many foods in the walking street. The view of the balcony is good too. I drank beer and sat very comfortably to look at the night view that night after taking the hotspring. What a life!

This JR hotel is one of the most unique of all as it has a rooftop onsen (19-21F). It comes with a 150yen per pax per night charge when you stay here. 21F is gender separated outdoor onsen! Was a surprise as we did not expect it to be so nice with the current weather. Parking is 1000yen per night with the car park at the mall side and is linked to the hotel reception by an elevator. Location is superb for non-driving too as it is within 1 min walk from the JR Oita station. We used the onsen for all the nights we stayed. Super good value.

Very impressive, location is next to station and staff is very helpful, Mio san (if I’m not wrong) is good at English she the others help me organize the trip. Bicycle rental and parking slot are available. Famous coffee shop is walking distance. Even there is no onsen here but u can go Hyotan onsen which is the biggest one for 15 mins, (onsen itself is 1480 jpy open til midnight) I’ll be back !

Kamenoi Hotel Beppu is conveniently located near the JR station and main bus terminal, making it easy to travel to various parts of the city, including Beppu's Jigoku, via public transport. Excellent!  A very big thumb up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Awesome onsen, grand lobby, incredible seaview, unlimited drinks, excellent staff and clean facilities and places. Those are my descriptions to this hotel. I have a very pleasant stay with parents (aged 80+) and highly recommend! Surprising me is the front desk, can speak fluent English, Korean, etc. Special thanks to Harada san 👍🏻, she did a great job and arrange a shuttle to drive us to the airport bus stop.  Drivers are very kind as well! Breakfast is good, value for money, lots of choices, Japanese style( like sashimi rice, mackerel, salmon for grilled) and Western(toast, salad) are very fresh. Highly recommended! For dinner, this is 90 mins semi buffet style…. Nice to try, due to the “semi” set does not offer choices, and we don’t eat beef, Huy (restaurant staff) nicely offer to change to pork (takes 10 minutes to prepare) and take another 5-6 min to cook.  To me, a bit rush to get other food to finish, especially you are accompanied with disabled parents! Anyway, thanks to him, we got special menu - seafood, for my second night dinner. Honestly, the price is expensive, not worth for people don’t drink alcohol. But if you are an alcoholic, there is wide range of choices. cocktail, chardonnay, etc are soso! One “cons” is the location is a bit off from Beppu JR, if u drive, highly recommended, my case is the car break down (Toyota shop really disappointing) especially u carry aged 80+ disabled parents.

The room has a sense of age but is very spacious. It is very enjoyable to take a bath and look at the scenery. The service staff are kind and courteous. If you arrive at the hotel early, you will go through the formalities first and give you a voucher. Then your luggage will be delivered to the room. When you want to check in later, you can just hand the voucher to the counter.

This hotel is very convenient if you are taking bus from Hakata Bus Terminal. It stopped right in front of the hotel. Inside the hotel, it has tourist information counter where tourists can buy bus pass etc. Room and toilet are small and is common in Japan, but they are clean and stay is comfortable.They have 1 indoor and outdoor onsen. Opposite the hotel is a departmental store and is 10 mins walk to Beppu train station. Beppu tower is just a short distance walk from hotel. If you are taking a bus to Yifuin, bus stop 1 is just nearby, opposite direction of hotel. I will recommend this hotel if you are coming to Beppu.

Located right on top of a hill. Seaview is pretty far from hotel room... Thus nothing much to see anyway. As the Onsen is actually a bathtub attached to the inroom shower, the sulphur smell is very strong alike rotten eggs. Stayed for one night and is a good experience.

The room is bigger than you can imagine, with four beds in two rooms, each of which is large and clean; separate toilet and washing facilities. There is a stove and refrigerator in the room. There is a kitchen, bowls, microwave, and game console in the lobby on the first floor; there are also free drinks, coffee, and ice water. You can boil water in the room. There is wifi covering the entire building, and there is free parking. Although check-in is before 8 pm, it should be possible to check in later if you contact us in advance.

The local environment is very good and high quality. The location is good, it is easy to find by driving and not difficult at all. The service was excellent. Very attentive to the details. Dinner and breakfast were of excellent quality. There is a Hong Kong service staff, special thanks to him for introducing the surrounding tourist attractions. Worth coming back!

great experience This time I am traveling alone But I get very warm care from here There are a lot of cute touches everywhere in the hotel room + public areas The whole building is very beautifully designed Most of the walls are water molded But paired with wood and cute graffiti, the overall feeling is trendy and warm. There is no bathroom in the room, but there are three independent bathing areas on the first floor (you can bathe by yourself by locking the door) The front desk is very friendly and helpful It happened that the restaurant was closed for dinner and he recommended it to me + called to make a restaurant reservation. The recommended restaurants are also great! It's a pity not to have dinner But we had breakfast the next day, which was a Japanese buffet breakfast. Saury + white rice is really delicious! Overall I had a great experience

It’s an above and beyond hot spring hotel designed by Japanese well known architect. The design is outstanding, peaceful and stylish, especially love the firefly lamp inside the room. Served by professional staff who carry friendly smiles, delicious traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. I was attracted by KOLs to try the beef rice in the shopping street. It took me an hour in the queue, but then I found out the even better beef rice was already tasted at hotel dinner. Enjoy staff-led morning exercise and DIY handmade workshop. I did even enjoy solo outdoor hot spring under snowing. What a perfect stay at Kai Yufuin

The hotel is very beautiful, the room is also very big, and I booked a private bath, which is really enjoyable. The most surprising thing is the dinner. I thought it was just a set meal, but it turned out to be very rich, similar to Kaiseki cuisine, with not only various sashimi but also small hot pot, Wagyu barbecue, desserts, etc. I was really full at the end of the meal, and I felt that the room price was instantly halved. Haha. The Japanese breakfast the next day was also very good. Disadvantages: The transportation and life around the hotel are really inconvenient, and you can only choose hotel dining. There is not even a convenience store at the door. The hotel waiters are a bit short of staff and there is often no one at the front desk. The heating facilities in the lobby are open flames. Although you can't touch the fire inside, the shelves outside are hot, and children are prone to accidental injuries. This is especially important. Our room with a private bath is on the third floor, there is no elevator, and you need to carry your luggage up the mountain by yourself. If there is no man with you, it will be really tiring. This hotel has about 30 rooms, which is relatively large in Yufuin. The location is a distance away from Yufuin Railway Station. If you have a lot of luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi. We walked for about 20+ minutes to get there, mainly because the suitcases are not easy to push on the way up the mountain.

I really like the design of the entire room, especially the private bath! The room was clean and there was plenty of room to move around. There are also several spirits in the public space for residents to drink on their own. A few disadvantages are that for those who are not traveling by car, they need to wait for a taxi in Yufuin (about 1100 yen), which will be more difficult if you come in winter. It is recommended that guests staying in the future buy some more snacks/meats before entering the hotel. The hotel's dinner portions are not very sufficient and there are fewer choices. The front desk staff will help arrange taxis to send guests away. Overall, I am very satisfied😊

We took the train from Beppu to Yufuin, and saw beautiful scenery along the way. Yufuin is like a fairy tale world. I was surprised when I got the room at the hotel. It was so big, surrounded by green plants, private and quiet. The small villa was very clean. The most comfortable thing was to walk around the room barefoot. There were two hot spring pools, one indoor and one outdoor. Soaking in the warm soup washed away the fatigue from the journey. There was also Kaiseki cuisine here in the evening. I had a delicious meal. It was really comfortable and relaxing. This is the feeling of vacation.

My room was amazing,the view and open air bath. It would be nice to show the room type alphabet on the system so i know which room i booked. Dinner and breakfast was very tasty. staff service was very good.

Four people stay, the experience is very good, there is a swimming pool, hot spring facilities are all complete (free to see online). The sanitation is one star because there will be some bugs on the ceiling of the outdoor pool in the morning and noon, but when I come back at night, I don’t know if the staff has come or flew away. If you want to go to the pool during the day, there is pesticide on the table and you can spray it yourself.

Great hospitality experience from booking until our way back from Yufuin train station. The staff service was 5-star. The hotel is located in the main touristic area but as soon as you step behind the curtain, it is calm and lovely. The room was sparkling clean, with great amenities and comfort. The public/private baths were also great, very clean and no reservation needed. Special mention to the restaurant recommendation, a great dinner spot recommended nearby the hotel. Strongly recommend to anyone willing to stay in Yufuin.

This hotel has an excellent location and has its own parking lot. It is very convenient whether you drive or take the railway. Staff are very friendly and willing to help. When I left, I found that the rental car failed to start in the parking lot. The hotel staff actively assisted me. I am really grateful! If I come to Oita again in the future, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. I would like to express my sincere thanks again to the many employees who have received and assisted me, especially a man who can speak fluent English. Thank you very much. 

The service is very good, the staff is very polite, the facilities are complete, and the whole family stayed in two rooms, which were arranged nearby, which was very considerate. If you go to Japan next time, I highly recommend you to stay here. It is a very cost-effective hotel.

Around 10 minutes walk from Oita station, but it was near the Oita art district, the iconic Oita Prefecture Art Museum is just a 5 minute walk and worth a visit even after closing time at night. The hotel has a big room and good service.

Very nice hotel, very nice hotel, the room is very small, but it has everything. Japan's hygiene is a model for the world, all the rooms are very tidy, without a trace of dust.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Oita JR Station. There is a commercial street along the way to Oita Station, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. There is a vending machine, ice machine and microwave on each floor of the hotel, which is very convenient! There are also many hot spring shops next to the hotel.

Very great location, just next to Oita station. DORMY inn always with same level and great service. With spring, RAMEN during late night, free coffee for whole day. If you can accept the price, I think it's a good and valuable choice.

Very good 4-star hotel, the breakfast in the restaurant on the 1st floor offers a variety of local Oita cuisine, and dinner on the 14th floor has Camellia Teppanyaki and Fukino Japanese cuisine to choose from. I tried both cuisines in two nights. Very satisfied, thank you for the hospitality 🙏

Great short stay in Oita for one night, forgot to take a picture of breakfast I only remember that it was delicious, and I kept adding rice without knowing it It feels very comfortable to live on a high floor, and the service staff is very kind Although I can't speak Japanese, I still communicate well. Looking for such a good hotel when going out for fun😊

The room is very small but the price is reasonable. The hotel is easy to find, a short walk from the station. In the bathroom there is soap, shampoo, conditioner, towel, hair dryer, called ready. But must check out before 10.00
