Great experience overall! Room - clean and large, very new. Service - guest experience agent in concierge is awesome! I really appreciate the service Ami provided. The restaurant recommendations/ books have been very smooth. English communication is also great! Hassin sushi (八新壽司） is a must go omakase sushi place while typpenyaki place recommended also provided excellent quality wagyu beef. We also tried western style breakfast recommended (莊園小町） Super nice too! Onsen - very new with splendid view. Just some business visitors from south east Asia who are not familiar with onsen rules were very noisy. Food - breakfast is quite nice - suggest trying it outside. Location - needs to driver around 10-20 mins to the restaurants in the city but overall all ok Free valet parking is good. Overall excellent experience!

We had a great experience at this hotel from check in to check out. Our room is big with an awesome seaview. Lobby is spacious, free drinks including beer and snack are served during tea time and supper (no beer). Breakfast is the highlight of this hotel, the food are of good quality and always refilled. Restaurant is huge so no issue with waiting for table. Location is out of town but since we drove so not an issue. There are convenient store just across the hotel.

Rooms are a tad bit small but standard for japanese hotels. Location is very good, a few minutes walk from Beppu station and lots of eateries closeby. I love that this hotel had a rooftop pool with amazing view of beppu (although pool very shallow). We had a nice little soak in the hotel onsen however my partner stated the onsen was a bit dirty in the male section. We unfortunately didn't get to enjoy the free flow of alcohol for 1000 yen due to time constrain but would be good for alcohol lovers! Would definitely recommend and return! Nice, clean and friendly staff!

very happy to have booked this hotel. very well located hotel, walkable fr yufuin station. breakfast and dinner every day was very nice, some days better than others but excellent nonetheless. place is a little old but is well kept. room is also rather large and we had the mountain view which was amazing. hotel onsen water can be a little too hot, so sensitive ppl do be careful. will come again.

Special thanks to Harada san 👍🏻👍🏻 helped to arrange smooth transfer from hotel to airport. Appreciate the hospitality from quite a number of multilingual staff 👏🏻👏🏻. Onsen is great, unlimited free drinks! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻coffee, coke, green tea, etc 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Breakfast is good, value for money, nice to try. Dinner is 90-mins semi buffet, no choice for the set, special arrangement if you don’t eat beef, but take some time. Lots of wine varieties, if you don’t drink alcohol, the dinner price is NOT worth. My comment: Highly recommended. need to have car, my case is with sudden car break down with no replacement. Grandvrio did a great job!👏🏻👏🏻

It is really a treasure hotel, a traditional Japanese hot spring hotel, not big, small but exquisite, realizing the desire of soaking in hot springs in nature. The scenery outside the hot spring is different in four seasons, and it is more beautiful in winter or cherry blossom season. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine in the room, and breakfast is a bit bland. I especially want to praise the waiter in the dinner room, which is really a true Japanese service. The waiter who sent us to the car after checking out the next day, two young ladies carried our luggage and trotted all the way on the mountain road. It's a pity that we only booked one day, and it's so tight in the off-season. It's worth coming again for this hotel.

The room was clean and there was no noise from the neighboring rooms. Parking is available in a flat parking lot in the basement of the building. I think it costs 1,000 yen per night, but members of the hotel chain HARMONY can park for 500 yen. The breakfast is especially noteworthy. There are many Oita specialties such as ryukyu and fried chicken, and it's impossible to eat it all in one go. Also, the room cleaners always greeted me, which was nice.

The location is remote and suitable for self-driving guests. The hotel is divided into old and new seats. General rooms are in the old wing, and high-end and VIP rooms are in the new wing. The environment is very high-end and integrated with nature. The Nangao room you stay in is spacious, with a ground terrace and a private bath, facing the beautiful scenery of the mountains. You can breathe in the natural aura while relaxing! What more could you ask for! Every corner in the room is a check-in point. The modern kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast are also rich, and there is still room for improvement! The overall stay was better than expected!

Located right on top of a hill. Seaview is pretty far from hotel room... Thus nothing much to see anyway. As the Onsen is actually a bathtub attached to the inroom shower, the sulphur smell is very strong alike rotten eggs. Stayed for one night and is a good experience.

I stayed overnight to watch a soccer game. It took about 10 minutes to get there from Oita Station. Check-in was smooth, and there was a fitness center and a bath on the 4th floor, but it was a little small. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and was delicious.
