The hotel is conveniently located right across from the train station, diagonally to the right as you exit, making it perfect for those traveling to the main island by train. I highly recommend purchasing a 24-hour day pass, which includes the train ticket to the island. The standard rooms are a bit small, but that's probably a trade-off for the excellent location. The breakfast was good. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a hostel, and I thought it was a mix of hostel and hotel, but it turned out to be all hostel rooms. The facilities are basic and limited. The four-person room I booked wasn't available, so I got a free upgrade to a six-person room, which just meant an extra bunk bed. It's not bad, just not what I expected. If you're okay with hostels, then it's fine.
The location is excellent, very convenient for transport. It's close to Venezia Mestre train station, just a ten-minute walk to get inside.

This is an ideal studio hotel. There is a small kitchenette with induction cooker and microwave. Also a dishwasher and fridge. All cutlery, pots and pans are there. Supermarket (Interspar) is just 5 mins walk away. There are a few eateries nearby the hotel. All the staff are friendly. We were met by staff Hinda who was super helpful. There is also a laundry room on ground floor.
To go over to Venice just need to walk across the road to the bus stop above the flyover bridge. Many buses go to Venezia, 2, 7, 7E, 8E.
The train station is about 5-10 mins walk from hotel.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Venice.

This is absolutely the right place to stay if you're visiting Venice! It's just a 10-minute train ride to Venice (for 1.5 Euros), and staying here also exempts you from Venice's access fee. The room was very spacious and clean, and the bathroom was equally roomy. The location is incredibly convenient, being only about 30 meters from the train station – literally just across the street. What's more, despite its proximity to the station, it was surprisingly quiet. There's a small gym available, which is perfectly adequate. Just a word of caution for Mestre: do be mindful of your belongings, and it's advisable not to venture out after dark.

Verona itself is a quintessential Italian city; no one could dislike it. And this hotel in Verona is truly comfortable. It's very clean, and they even provide complimentary sparkling water in the mini-fridge. Laundry service is reasonably priced, and they fold everything neatly. You can borrow bikes to explore the old town, which is a quick ride away, and it's not far from the Arena. Highly recommended!

The hotel is about 10 mins walk to train station and bus terminal. Lobby is decorated elegantly with friendly staff. The room is spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom is spacious too.
Breakfast is wide spread and sumptuous. The staff who check us in for breakfast welcomed us with lovely smile and warm greetings 👍❤️.
2N pleasant stay in the fantastic hotel 🤗
Environment: A 15-minute walk from Mestre train station, or you can take a bus.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Facilities: Relatively new, but the room was particularly small.
Service: The old man at the front desk spoke slowly but communication was seamless. The self-service breakfast offered a wide variety, including croissants of different flavors, toast, cheese, boiled eggs, sausages, pickles, iced milk, juice, and yogurt.
Walking distance to the nearest bus stop and straight up to Venice in 20 mins, strategic location! Staffs were super friendly, providing all the advices and guidances in Venice. Will definitely come back again next time.

A beautiful hotel in possibly the best location in Venice - away from the crowds but only a 10 minute water taxi from St Marks Square. The rooftop pool and bar provide a stunning view.
All staff very helpful and welcoming making our stay perfect.
We would not hesitate to return to the hotel.

LLady WI was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices.
The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day.
The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip.
Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work!
Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes.
The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.

GGuest UserThe hotel location is excellent. It’s just a 3-minute walk to the train and bus stations that go to Venice and the airport. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable and clean, and reception service was okay. But one thing really annoyed me: I don’t understand why a 4-star hotel doesn’t provide a kettle in the room. I drink tea, and there was only a coffee machine available. The reception told me to get hot water from the bar, which is fine, but the hot water looked dirty and didn’t seem clean. Also, the curtains never fully closed, there was always a gap, so it didn’t feel fully private.
AAnonymous UserVery good experience in this hotel. The very large and clean room. The staff very careful and have gluten-free food. Furthermore, it is very close to the Academia bridge that crosses the great channel. They also have a restaurant in the same hotel. I therefore recommend it 100%.
MMons007Swimming pool amazing!
I didn’t give service at 5/5 because of front desk staff seems has lack knowledge about rounding areas. If families pick up this camp, they would like stay longer and return next year for more leisure activities. When I asked staff about local restaurants recommended, staff looked at us said she doesn’t know, only restaurant she knew is the one at the camp!
Normal family members like to go both camp restaurants and outside of camp as well. People like spending in the camp but not 24 hours at the same place.

GGuest UserFor three people, including city tax, and costing just over 1000 (units not specified), the value for money here in Venice is truly unbeatable. The hotel's main drawback is its distance from the train station, which makes it more ideal for those arriving by car. However, if you plan your trip and use the People Mover, the journey is significantly shorter. There's a Vaporetto (water bus) stop conveniently located just a few hundred meters from the hotel entrance. Be aware that walking from the train station would take at least 35 minutes.
The breakfast, for an Italian hotel, was exceptionally generous and definitely met the standards of a large hotel group. Occupancy seemed quite high too. While the rooms are on the smaller side, for a short stay of one or two nights—really, just a place to sleep—they are perfectly adequate; what more could you possibly need? If you're looking for bigger rooms or more amenities, you'd naturally expect to pay more.
In summary, if you figure out the public transport route from the train station to the hotel beforehand, your stay will be absolutely perfect. For travelers who aren't overly particular about minor details, this place comes highly recommended.
GGuest UserWe arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor.
I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases.
The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would.
The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed.
The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it.
The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it.
The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket.
The safe was not working.
The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them.
The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working.
You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool.
The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off.
The bathroom bin was broken and filthy
The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am.
I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice
I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy.
We would be extremely grateful if you could offer us a credit for our next hotel booking with trip.com, we are in the process of booking our November Asia tour.
Kindest regards

GGuest UserWhat a fabulous hotel perfectly located a block from the Grand Canal and close to both the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square.
The receptionists are outstanding and answered all of our many questions with comprehensive answers, patience and respect. Can’t rave enough about them.
The rooms are even prettier than indicated on line, with plush bedding, a large bathroom and plenty of space.
Breakfast was convenient and offered a large variety of choices. Service was also exceptional.
Without question - you will enjoy this full service hotel. As a bonus, there is also an elevator so you don’t have to lug your suitcase up the stairs.
