Lovely friendly hotel.Was originally given an upstairs room which would have meant some stairs.I have mobility problems but the receptionist found me a ground floor room straightaway.The only issue was with parking being a little limited.We were able to park but other guests had some difficulty.Will definately be using this hotel again and we are already planning our next trip.

Antique hotel in a very good location close to the beach however no nothing is guaranteed by the hotel. There is no option to book parking (first come first serve basis), they can’t guarantee a good view to the sea even through you book a sea view room (you can end up to the side of the hotel which allows you a glimpse to the sea and that’s not what you really want and pay for). When trying to call the hotel goes to a customer service desk then they transfer you to the main reception which ends up with a dropped call several times considering the call is being charged per minute (we’re not in the 80’s, take some ownership for this please), if you finally get through they won’t be able to reserve a parking space at the hotel and guide you to park elsewhere (this you can literally do yourself without the hassle and waste of time). None of these (parking and room selection) are communicated precisely until you check in which in essence makes no sense when you want to plan your stay ahead. Overall the staff is kind and friendly so no improvement needed here, the opportunity stands for the hotel management who implement procedures and policies. The rooms have a heavy smell due to the age of the building, there is a brochure that explains refurbishment undergoing in that sense. Wifi - you can have daily access if you pay for wifi (I believe it was £7/24 hours) , this is also a thumbs down nowadays (tips: if you want to charge for wifi include this in the overall price fees so people don’t obviously pick on this or just offer it with the stay like a respectable business - a coffee shop where you spend £3 for a coffee offers it for free on a daily basis, think about it). Looking at breakfast - there is full English or cereal, oats and fruit. The terrace looks pretty nice, well looked after, a nice oasis to relax your senses listening to the sea waves. There is a chess board on a bigger scale just on the terrace, this if a nice setup and addition to the hotel vibe. Wonderful hotel and excellent location just 15 minutes walk through a beautiful park to Bournemouth beach, our room was in a very quiet environment, It has a swimming pool and games room, super quiet and cozy. I highly recommend it to everyone who visits bornemouth affordable price.

Nice quiet getaway to Bournemouth, stayed in a lovely little Spa hotel with a heated pool, sauna and jacuzzi, perfect weather to enjoy the beach which is only a 5 mins walk away from the hotel. Breakfast was lovely, continental plus ordered hot food and got a very tasty English brekkie to start the day, very enjoyable and would stay again

Good location near to the seaside. Friendly staff. Clean room. Good music 😅👍

The hotel is a bit old, domestic three-star level, but still clean and tidy. very quiet. It is about 100 to 200 meters away from the sea, which is very close, but it needs to go down a small slope of about 50 meters. The weather in July is still a bit cold, and it is impossible to go to the sea. The city is very small, turn right out of the hotel for about 1 kilometer and you will see the landmark of the Ferris wheel. It is not far to go to Old harry rocks and Durdle door within half an hour and 1 hour.

Good location and cleanliness, sea view if you upgrade your room. Only the tv was not working, and bad at Sound insulation, cause I can hear others talking at night

There is no elevator in the guest room on the third floor. The handsome customer service guy helped to lift the big box up and down. The service was good. There is parking lot. The location is the core area of the town, and you can walk anywhere, including the train station. Diagonally opposite is the famous cathedral. The architecture is very style. The restaurant downstairs is connected to the bar, which is very lively at night. This is a foreign social platform. Basically many foreign beds are relatively narrow. It is said that the weapon was put under the bed in the age of knights, and it was immediately reachable from which side it was taken out. I don't know if this is a legend. In short, we didn't bring weapons, so the space under the bed was not used.

Only just found this hotel and love it. Good atmosphere all round, air con and great bar/restaurant. Will always stay here when in the area

Nice hotel, not far from the beach. Breakfast was good but was only until 9.30am. Rooms were nice, spacious and clean we had a balcony room with lovely views of the beach, the rooms were quite hot and no A.C which is needed in hot weather. The outdoor pool is heated but no indoor pool for when the weather isn’t good. Staff were helpful and friendly.
