Almost a thousand yuan lived in a loft, the online pictures were very different, the bed was too low and too soft, and the breakfast was not as good as the legend. The beam is too low to live is indeed a bit depressed, but it is also an experience for one night.

We slept here one night to meet the family at the Christmas market. The location is ideal for that. I had some concerns about the location so close to Riebeckplatz, and I also have to say that I could still hear some traffic despite the window being closed. Not a problem for city dwellers, but perhaps for rural residents. The air conditioning was also quite loud. We had to turn it on at night because the room got warm. Unfortunately we had to reconfigure it again at night because it wasn't running in the correct mode. Otherwise we didn't miss anything. The room size was good. There were even games in the room. We then used the bar late in the evening and were able to end the day comfortably.

The location of the hotel is good. The room is large and the bed huge, and very comfortable, although I would rather have had 2 single beds as was travelling with my son. The bed only had one pillow and one single duvet despite the booking was for 2 people. We found another pillow and duvet in the wardrobe but I do feel the room should have been set up for 2 people. The free drinks in the fridge was nice, but the fridge was not cold, there was also no way to open the drinks but we asked at reception and they provided a bottle opener. The shower in the bathroom was broken so you had to hold it to shower as it did not stay in the holder. The bathroom was clean but did smell damp. There was chilled water, sweets and pastries to help yourself to at the reception. The check out was midday which is great but it was rather a shock at 11.55am when just finishing packing in the bedroom someone tried to enter the room with no knocking or warning, this really is not acceptable.

The hotel is very cheaply located. Although there is no parking place, some parking houses are nearby. The rooms are bright and friendly and the beds with kittens are very pleasant. Breakfast buffet is completely sufficient. Very nice staff also in the bar area.

SSimon001001The perfect location in central Wernigerode for your stay. An easy walk to the castle, the steam Brockenbahn and the main railway station from here, as well as all the local cafes and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful, although little to no English is spoken here, so brush up on your German before travelling. Breakfast is plentiful and first class, the rooms are comfortable with nice bathrooms and there is a fridge in each room. WiFi is excellent. I'll be staying here again on my next trip to Wernigerode.

OOlgaIt was warm, cosy room. They put a bed story next to your bed. That was cute. The story relates to the name of the hotel. Wonderful!!! It is next to the central city Christmas market!!! You can feel the Christmas in the air!!! It is 15 minutes from station, easy to find. Delicious breakfast. Everyone was so friendly!

GGuest UserThe hotel is very handy location wise since it‘s located right next to the main train station. You don‘t hear much of it though with the window closed. Service and cleanliness is ok too. During this stay I found the room to he very cold though and I couldn’t find a thermostat.

JJohn WickedI wanted to give all five stars, but I was almost pushed by the waiter at 8 o'clock in the morning... I was really scared to death, and I knocked on the door twice and I was going to come in. The room is large, the health is good, the bed is very comfortable, the room has free drinks, water, beer, and the heating is still enough. 15 minutes from Deshao Railway Station, it is quite good, the price is full.

AAnonymous UserThe biggest advantage is that the hotel bathroom window opens wide. It is not far from tourist attractions such as the Wittenberg Castle Church, and is an overall decent hotel. When using the parking lot, it is very inconvenient to push and pull the heavy, sooty iron bar and lock it.
