Overall it was a nice hotel with a good pool and the food was tasty. We were bed and breakfast and decided to eat in the main restaurant (katoi) for one of the nights. On the large restaurant booking screens we saw there was an a la carte menu with lots of reasonably priced meals (circa €15) so planned to have this. When we turned up they said there was only the buffet available (€33) which was quite expensive, but we couldn’t go anywhere else in the hotel as it all needed pre booking. The staff had never heard of this menu.
When we checked in with our toddler we were hoping there would be a cot in the room already. There wasn’t so we called for one, which we were told would be right there. An hour later nothing had turned up, so we rang again and were told it would be there after we returned from dinner. When we got back there was a bed being set up which was totally unsuitable. We had to ring again by which time it was ages after her bedtime.
A hotel with good location, close to the shopping center, embankment and beach.
The rooms are modest, without excesses.
Breakfasts are not very diverse, but are quite saturated.
A good option for your money.
The Tasmaria Aparthotel is situated on Tombs of the Kings Avenue, offering access to local buses, shops, restaurants, mall and bars. This is a budget-friendly accommodation that features large rooms and a swimming pool. The apartment I was given also had a large balcony, with a very nice view of the area. The only drawback that should be noted in advance is the air-condition policy: In order to be able to use the air-condition in the apartments, guests are required to pay an additional fee that is not included in the original booking charges. Other than that drawback, the accommodation is very good. with free Wi-Fi in public areas and a 24-hour reception, the Tasmaria Aparthotel provides a reasonable stay for travelers looking to explore Paphos on a budget.
The hotel is older, but it deserves 3*. Good location, next to the station (buses to the airport), to the beach 10 minutes walk. To Kings Avenue Mall about 2 km. Breakfast is quite good, the same every day, but it still has something to choose from.
Amenity was substantial. 1L It was very convenient with water, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and soap. There was also a refrigerator and tissue
I was happy. You can also use air conditioning. The bus stop is within walking distance.
Hotel is really well located, just beside harbour, beach and lots of restaurants.
Lovely reception area, lounge and bar. Very reasonable prices. Staff are all very friendly and efficient.
Will definitely return. Excellent choice. Thank you
The Akamanthea Hotel in Polis Chrysochous is a real gem in Paphos. The location is excellent – close to all the main attractions, including the famous Yiannakis Beach, the charming Polis harbor, and the breathtaking Akamas Peninsula. The hotel offers beautiful views and a relaxing environment that makes it perfect for both couples and families.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the rooms and facilities are spotless, and the breakfast is tasty with plenty of options. The large, clean swimming pool with a pool bar is an ideal spot to spend the day under the sun.
With its combination of comfort, cleanliness, great service, and reasonable prices, it truly is value for money. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or a base to explore the area, this hotel is exactly what you need for a memorable holiday.
We visited the guest house as 3 couples. The place is cute and has a nice inner courtyard where you can have breakfast or lunch/dinner. The first issue was clear straight away: one room we booked was not the same as the one that was given to us. This happened because we didn't pay beforehand the booking for that specific room, nonetheless it is really unprofessional to give away a room that was booked only because it wasn't paid. Secondly our friend found a stain on the bed. The management replaced the sheets and offered them a complimentary wine glass. The positive sides of the place are the central location, the nice atmosphere and the big shower with a nice water pressure... when there is water. In fact the last day the whole area had a problem with water, and of course this cannot be accounted to the hotel. Nonetheless the management did nothing to reduce the disturbance created by this situation. We had a water bottle to wash our teeth and be able to do the minimum self-care before and after bedtime and it was charged to us 3 euros. When we went to pay we were expecting some sort of compensation - for example free breakfast or similar but even the water we had to buy was charged. The host gave us a piece of paper stating that next time we can have a free night stayin, but there will be no next time.
Very Good

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel exceeded all my expectations! The pictures online doesn’t door any justice at all! The interior, and attention to details is quite exquisite! The staff are friendly and extremely accommodating making your stay truly memorable! I think this has to be if not the best hotel in paphos! My first time staying here but won’t be my last! The food is amazing, especially the breakfast so much option and also the option of champagne for breakfast says it all! They accommodated my late check out and provided me with a complimentary room to get ready before my flight to the airport. This hotel in my opinion is beyond 5*.
GGuest UserGreat hotel design and hardware with mediocre service:
Spacious room, great location, beautiful compound and design (as long as you don’t get one of those side rooms that faces the back of a building or the carpark). Wide range of selection for breakfast.
It’s weird that the carpark is a little further away and you’re supposed to call a number at the gate every time for them to open for you. They said it’s toll free but I doubt it’s free for an international line. I don’t know who would spend international calling rate to call the number as most people uses esim today. The way they challenged me and say “why don’t you just call” and insisted it was free just made me feel very disappointed. There’s also no refill of the room’s coffee station (it’s chargeable)- I guess it’s because they call themselves a suite/ service apartment. There were a few other examples of mediocre services: not deal breaker but could have been better.
Overall I would say it is good value for money given the spacious and beautiful room, so simply don’t place too much emphasis and expectations on service then you’ll be fine.
HHONGMEIThe breakfast is rich. The hotel is close to the sea, and it's quite beautiful to watch the sunrise in the sea view room. It has convenient parking. It's suitable for trips of families, parents and children as well as couples. The coastal running track is behind the hotel, which is very convenient for morning exercises. A marine project service point is conveniently located nearby.

KkarietteThe room was a little outdated but the food really impressed us. It was always different and freshly made. It really impressed us. The staff was friendly and after some time, they recognized us.
Even it was off season there was always entertainment in the evening and we could really stay at the property at night and enjoy our evening.
It was very quiet in the evening even we had a pool view room facing the pool. We slept really we.
What's also impressive is the clearness. It's really well maintained and daily cleaning service was also perfectly done.
If you stay there, you have to do all inclusive. The food really makes everything perfect.
GGuest UserBeautiful, renovated and clean rooms. The breakfast was very rich and of good quality... The service was impeccable... The exterior of the hotel needs renovation, such as the building, garden and pool furniture... Inside, the rest of the areas apart from the rooms and reception need care and maintenance... In general terms it is a good hotel but definitely not a 5 stars hotel..

GGuest UserLoved the location. the staff were excellent, polite and genuine. A special mention goes out to Maria, front desk manager. She was humerous, and very knowledgeable of the area. She provided me with maps, and some background history of Cyprus, which i was very much appreciative for.
My room was clean, The cleaning staff were very persistent in wanting to come and clean the room when we were still there, it was a little annoying, but i admired their dedication.
the hotel is beautiful, Very much so an intimate setting.
Definitely worth rebooking.
