Hotels With Bar in Hainan, China

Immaculately clean, properly maintained. Excellent & efficient check in. Bed is so comfy we thought packing it into our luggages. Easy to log into WiFi with no disruptions. Unsure if the room smells due consumption of food by previous occupant.  It could do with bit more signage on how to get to the hotel.

There’s nothing to complain about this gorgeous hotel. From check in to check out, the service was fantastic on the hotel’s end. They take care of the luggage as you get off the car. After checking in, the staff walked us to our room and explained where everything was and to contact her if we needed anything. They made sure we had the right size robes and slippers for the kids and sent us a welcome fruit basket. The view was breathtaking. Beds and linens were soft and comfortable. The restaurants gave excellent service as well. Room service was fantastic. The water park food stalls are the only ones that were rude. The only other complaint I have is the staff that works at the breakfast buffet. When other restaurant guests cut in line, they still serve them instead of telling them to get in line. It’s a big culture shock as 9 out of 10 people here don’t get in line unless the staff insists and not serve them. The water park could use clearer signs. And some slides were closed due to staff shortage. That was a bit disappointing. The hotel swimming pool is beautiful. Night swimming was one of my son’s favorite part of the trip. We did the beluga whale encounter and it was so worth it. The staffs were really nice. That definitely made an unforgettable trip. At the end, the hotel even left us a gift of 2 stuff animal whales. So happy they gave us 2 so my kids can each have one. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Sanya. FYI, you’re going to need translation app if you don’t speak Chinese because other than the staff that was assigned to help us, nobody speaks or understands English.

The hotel is really beautiful. The decor and style is something! There’s construction beside the building but there is a disclaimer on trip that we didn’t notice before. They also give one in the room and they provide ear plugs. The room smells a little humid and musty when you 1st enter but we couldn’t smell it after that. The staff is super helpful, they bring your luggage up, bring you ice if you need, send your takeaway upstairs with the robot for you if you call. the room service food we got was so so but the breakfast buffet is good and varied. The location is also good, there’s a mall and some beaches not too far from the hotel.

I have a wonderful time with my mom at castle hotel 欧宝酒店 and for the first time I am purchasing clothing from a hotel and the quality is great and price is reasonable. I bought a lot of t shirts and beach pants for my 2 kids. I also bought a lovely dress for myself and scarf for my mom. The breakfast have variety of choices and is very delicious. The noodles is a must try items. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The island is easy access and is very suitable for family with young kids. There are a lots of activities available for them that can keep them occupied, within the hotel and island too. The ocean park is a must go place to see dolphin’s show, apart from that, there are many other marine species in the park and activities that may excite the kids. Please spare a day here to finished off all the shows. The light show at 婚礼庄园is also a must go place. There are 2shows available daily at 8pm and 9:30pm . Just took a train at CNY30, you can have unlimited rides to travel within the island 1. I personally love 海花岛and will definitely come back again in near future. Me

Ocean Flower Island is a little deserted and many attractions were closed, probably due to low peak period and stagnation of the island development, but the stay in Hilton more than made up for the disappointment. Front Office Manager, Ms Judy Zhu was very helpful and accomodating. The concierge boys were very nice, especially Leo Tang and brought us around the island whenever we wanted to, even when it is not the listed shuttle timing. The executive lounge was closed due to the low occupancy but we were still able to enjoy the lounge benefits at the 1st level restaurant.. The restaurant manager even told us we can order food that is not listed on their menu for the high tea and happy hour and the chef will try to whip up the dish. Room furnishing is new and looks better and more modern than the other 2 Hilton hotels that I have stayed during this vacation in Guangzhou and Sanya. I would highly recommend Hilton if you are planning to visit Ocean Flower Island in Hainan.

Hilton Wenchang is located on a beautiful property, having a great staff kindly extending most excellent hospitality to our family all the way from the swift check-in, breakfast, happy hour in the lobby lounge, kids club with great activities as well as the refreshing outdoor pool. I also need to mention that our daughter was super excited to see the space rocket launch from the tropical beach just a short walk from the hotel. A memory for a lifetime!

Amazing Stay at Sofitel Haikou – Exceptional Service & Perfect Location! Our stay at Sofitel Haikou was truly fantastic, and a big shoutout to Howard—he was an absolute lifesaver! From day one, he took great care of our family, helping us find the best restaurants and even calling to make reservations for us. This was our first time in China, and since we don’t speak Chinese, getting a taxi or ordering food was quite challenging. Howard made everything so much easier for us! The room was incredible—spotlessly clean, with super comfortable bedding and even a TV built into the bathroom mirror! We stayed on the 28th floor, and the view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was fantastic! If you’re new to Chinese cuisine, this is the perfect place to start. The variety was amazing—delicious dim sum, noodle soup, Chinese-style fried eggs (a must-try!), flavorful Chinese soups, and so much more. The location is excellent. Situated in the CBD, you can easily walk to several shopping malls and cafés. Just step out of the hotel lobby, and within 200 meters, you’ll find great spots like the Chinese tea café CHANGEE. Overall, we had an amazing experience, thanks to the warm hospitality, luxurious rooms, and prime location. Highly recommend Sofitel Haikou for anyone visiting the city!

generally , overall is pretty alright . however maybe the hotel should check the sockets in the room because it seems faulty . aircon in hotel lobby and public is weak . considering the temperature in haikou is extremely hot .

Landed at Meilan Airport in the early morning, and it was a good choice to choose Wyndham! Take the hotel's free shuttle bus out of the passenger terminal, and it will arrive in 10 minutes. You don't have to walk a step with your suitcase. There is also a car to pick you up in the early morning. They really understand the hardships of passengers who catch early flights/late arrivals~ The room is clean and shiny, and the shower water pressure is strong and the water temperature is stable. It is super comfortable to wash away your fatigue. The bedding is just the right softness and hardness, and the sound insulation is also good. I fell asleep until dawn and was not disturbed by the airport noise at all. The breakfast variety is surprising, Hainan noodles, Qingbuliang and other local specialties are all available. The hot porridge and freshly made egg pancakes are warm and filling. After eating, take the shuttle bus to the airport, and the time is just right. The front desk lady checked in super quickly and took the initiative to remind the bus departure time. The words ”Have a safe journey” before leaving made people feel warm. Next time I fly to Haikou, I will stay at this hotel again!
