I blindly picked this hotel for my trip and it turned out to be an absolute hidden gem – what a pleasant surprise! As soon as I entered the room, I was amazed. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows that let in so much natural light. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was bright and fresh, making for a truly relaxing stay. The service throughout was impeccable. Jingjing was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, always ready to help with a gentle and thoughtful demeanor that made me feel right at home. The hotel's facilities and equipment are all new and comprehensive, making for a fantastic experience. The Italian restaurant served authentic and delicious dishes, and the breakfast was hearty and satisfying. The bar had an amazing ambiance, perfect for a relaxing drink. The exquisite afternoon tea at the 'Le Bar' was both beautiful and delicious, offering a leisurely and delightful experience. And the SPA provided professional treatments that were truly effective in relieving fatigue. This stay completely exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the bathroom was spotless. The atmosphere was quiet and refined, cleanliness was exceptional, and the facilities were comprehensive and practical – meeting all my daily needs. The service was also excellent. Booked two river view rooms. One was upgraded to a Guangji Bridge river view room, and the other offered views of an ancient pagoda on the other side. The rooms are very spacious, and the flower arrangements in the public areas are fantastic. You absolutely must try the hotel's breakfast buffet! There are four live cooking stations: various cheung fun (rice noodle rolls), kway teow/noodles, Chaoshan porridge, and Western-style omelets. The Cantonese dim sum selection is also extensive, with many different Chaozhou kway (dumplings/cakes) – they were delicious! A special thank you to Belle for her excellent service; she helped check my InterContinental membership, which allowed us to enjoy the in-room minibar for free.

Back in Zhongshan, the renovated pedestrian street really evokes a sense of nostalgia. A big thank you to the front desk for their excellent recommendations! If it's your first time in Zhongshan, I highly recommend asking the ladies at the front desk – they were so enthusiastic in suggesting many great places to eat. The room was larger than I expected, and all rooms come with a bathtub. From the high-rise, you get a good view of the city. Even though new hotels have opened nearby, I still feel that the Hilton is my top choice when I visit Zhongshan! It's full of warmth and human touch; every staff member is incredibly warm and attentive. Although it's been open for a while and some facilities aren't as modern as they once were, everything is meticulously maintained. A Ferrari might get old, but it's still a Ferrari 😉

Jessica, the manager, deserves a five-star review! She was incredibly welcoming and efficient during check-in, and even offered practical tips on local attractions and restaurants. The room itself was spacious with a great view, and being south-facing, it got lovely sunlight in the afternoon, perfect for relaxing. Inside, it was spotlessly clean with comfortable bedding and good soundproofing. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of both Western and Chinese options, and hot dishes were replenished promptly. Overall, the service, facilities, and dining were all top-notch and great value for money. I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

We extended our stay for one night. This old hotel was very luxurious 30 years ago. The revolving restaurant on the top floor will still be revolving in 2026, and that's where breakfast is served. However, it's not for everyone; some of us get 'restaurant seasickness.' We couldn't possibly eat three breakfasts, which were included in our initial three-night booking. We tried to talk to the front desk manager about getting discount vouchers or something so we could eat at their downstairs restaurant instead. No! No! No! It felt like they refused everything they possibly could. They wouldn't even give us a single cage of char siu bao (BBQ pork buns)... I felt like the money for those three breakfasts was completely wasted.

I've stayed here a few times and it's always great! The location is super convenient, really close to the subway and electronic shopping districts, making it so easy to get around and go shopping. Sundy's service was also excellent, and the lobby even had a check-in activity where they gave out gifts! The rooms are clean and comfortable too. It's a solid choice for both business travelers and families, definitely a five-star review from me!

We were going to Chimelong with our kids and decided to arrive a day early in Zhuhai to experience the local scenery and specialty foods. Doubao recommended the Renheng as the best for families, and it really was! Our most comfortable night in Zhuhai was definitely at the Renheng. It's clean, convenient, and the service is top-notch. It's right near the port and Zhuhai Station, walkable, or just a few minutes by taxi. It's also very close to the food street, right on Lover's Road, where you can rent parent-child bikes and cycle along the seaside to visit attractions. Supervisor Mila immediately added me on WeChat and helped with all our requests, arranging things and recommending food and scenic spots. She even managed to get the infinity pool opened early for us (it was originally planned for May 1st)! The executive benefits were also great, and the cocktails were delicious. Next time I go to Macau for a concert, I'm definitely booking this hotel again!

Hotel near Daya Bay/Xiajing Bay,Huizhou 8.4% of visitors choose this area
GGuest User 2026.04.06
My stay at Le Méridien Huizhou Xiaojing Bay was actually pretty good. I saw a lot of negative reviews and was hesitant about coming, but I decided to give it a try in the end. After all, nothing is perfect, and I wanted to experience it for myself. I chose to check in before the holiday to avoid the crowds, so the hotel wasn't at full capacity that day. They proactively upgraded my room and, during check-in, provided a detailed introduction to the fire dance performance and essential room and hotel information. Regarding the room, I stayed on the west side, near the pool and greenway. The sea view was fantastic. I saw many people debating whether the sea view was 180 degrees, even complaining and giving bad reviews over it. I honestly find that hard to understand. A vacation is about relaxing, enjoying the comfort and tranquility of the seaside, not obsessing over angles. The view was already spacious enough. Do you really need to be in the middle of the sea for it to be perfect, haha? The room was a bit humid, but I accepted it. If you choose to stay by the sea, you have to accept that with the current weather in Guangdong, it's like that everywhere, especially by the sea. The hotel staff were very friendly; everyone greeted me. Even the cleaning aunties said hello. Right outside the hotel is a commercial street that can meet basic needs, and the greenway is within walking distance – an excellent choice for a walk or bike ride 🚴♀️ in the morning or after dinner. Overall, the experience was quite good, not as exaggerated as many reviews suggested. Perhaps it's because I didn't go on a weekend or a holiday. Travel experiences are inherently personal, and only by feeling the sea breeze and sunshine can you create your own beautiful memories.

The hotel is right on Shuidong Street. During the day, you can enjoy tea in your room with the sunshine. It's quite convenient for getting around, though the showerhead in the room wasn't great. The hotel helped us choose a relatively quiet room, and by the latter half of the night, it was peaceful.

GGuest UserFive-star review! CityNote's facilities and environment far exceeded expectations. My stay at CityNote was truly impressive, particularly due to its well-designed facilities and tranquil, comfortable ambiance. The hotel lobby features a blend of modern minimalism and urban aesthetics, with warm lighting and exquisite greenery. The public areas are clearly delineated, offering a business work zone and a relaxed lounge area, both open 24/7 and impeccably maintained. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, boasting panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with city views. They are equipped with zero-pressure memory foam mattresses and high-thread-count bedding. The smart voice control system effortlessly manages curtains, lighting, and air conditioning. The bathroom achieves complete wet-dry separation, featuring a thermostatic instant-heat shower and a full set of branded toiletries, with not a single water stain on the mirror. The amenities are comprehensive: the 24-hour gym offers brand-new equipment and city views, and the self-service laundry room includes a drying function. High-speed WiFi is available throughout with stable signal, and both public areas and guest rooms boast excellent soundproofing, providing a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The overall decor has no pungent odors, and cleaning is frequent. Green plants adorn the corridors and elevator lobbies, creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere for travelers. It's truly a perfect choice for both business trips and leisure travel. Five-star recommendation!

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel. However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

GGuest UserThe room view was impeccable, and the facilities were up to standard. Complaint 1: The parking lot is shared with K11, and it's very narrow and messy. It took me ages to find the hotel entrance, and there was no one to guide me, not even at the hotel entrance. Complaint 2: The hotel corridors are a bit creepy, winding and dimly lit. Complaint 3: At 11 PM, just as I was about to fall asleep, I was startled awake by the sound of a door closing next door. At 2 AM, I was woken up by noise in the hallway. At 4 AM, I was startled awake by some rustling sound outside my door... In short, the soundproofing is terrible. Complaint 4: The pillows were as soft as clouds, offering no support whatsoever. I had to pile four of them up to use.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel last minute after spending two days in Dameisha, and to my surprise, the experience was fantastic. From service to ambiance, dining to cleanliness, the Ritz-Carlton perfectly showcased the quality expected of a top luxury hotel. The day before check-in, a staff member contacted me to inquire about my preferences and schedule. The next day, I had a smooth check-in, and they thoughtfully prepared toiletries for my child. I had seen some reviews saying the hotel wasn't very welcoming to children, but that's absolutely not true! From the doorman to the lobby staff and every other team member I encountered, everyone was incredibly warm, sincere, and polite. Traveling with my two children, I felt truly touched by their kindness. The room was clean, bright, and airy, with not a speck of dust in any corner. The bedding was comfortable, and they even offered a variety of pillows to choose from, which was a huge plus for a picky sleeper like me. The breakfast was rich and exquisite – and I say that based on comparisons with other hotels in the same price range. The outdoor pool also deserves a special mention; the night view, in particular, was stunning, far more impressive in person than in pictures. This time, I was short on time and couldn't experience the spa, but I did try the indoor hot spring and steam room, which were incredibly relaxing and washed away the fatigue of a long day. To sum up the Ritz-Carlton in one sentence: it's a hotel you won't want to leave, and one you'll definitely return to.

XXiaoaanaizijiHengqin Bay Hotel truly excels in every aspect. The parking lot is spacious and easy to navigate, and the management is excellent. The lobby is bright with high ceilings and a pleasant aroma. In the rooms, the internet connection is convenient, and the rooms themselves are quiet with large windows providing great ventilation and natural light. The mattress and pillows are just the right firmness. The bathrobes are soft, and the bathroom features a dry/wet separation design, a spotless bathtub, and ample hot water in the shower. The towels are thick and plush, and the toiletries are luxurious. The children's slippers and bathrobes are a thoughtful touch. The pool water is clear, and the lifeguards are attentive. The front desk staff is efficient, making check-in and check-out quick. The concierge is friendly, and the luggage service is thorough. This is definitely a hotel I'd return to. The cleanliness is outstanding; the lobby, hallways, and restrooms are immaculate, and the mirrors are sparkling. The guest room floors and furniture are clean, as is the bedding. They have a recreation club and swimming pools. The dining is a particular highlight. Breakfast service is excellent, and the buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options. The Chinese food is authentic, and all dishes are clean, fresh, generously portioned, and great value for money. My whole family was very satisfied with the food. The location is incredibly convenient, close to both the airport and the train station, with shopping centers and attractions nearby. The hotel's decor is refined and tasteful, with excellent natural light and spacious areas. It's quiet and romantic, with a home-like warmth. The family-friendly facilities are very thoughtful. Overall, the experience was fantastic. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Hengqin.

MMagnus HsuA relaxing resort that's about 30-40 minutes drive from downtown Zhuhai. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Pool facilities are good. We had the breakfast buffet and it had a good, high quality selection of Chinese and Western food. Note that because it is a bit far from the city area, the food selection nearby is limited and a 15-20 minutes DIDI ride is thus required. The beach is small and not in the best condition so I wouldn't consider the beach a highlight.

GGuest UserPoor value for money. For a 500-a-night hotel, the facilities are very ordinary. 1. The view from the window was blocked by signs and air conditioning units, completely obscured and covered in trash. We had to ask the front desk to move us to the 10th floor to get a more open view, although it was still facing dilapidated buildings and completely different from the photos. 2. The fridge wasn't plugged in, and there was no clear indication. We only realized it wasn't plugged in after leaving a cake in it overnight. We then found a notice tucked into a gap in the table saying to save electricity, so the fridge is unplugged by default. 3. The 8th floor had a strong smell of disinfectant. 4. Inconvenient transportation. While not far from the subway station as the crow flies, it's not a short walk. No ride-hailing cars would accept our requests, so we ended up having to take the bus. 5. The shampoo was terrible; my hair felt like I'd washed it with soapy water afterwards.
