Hotels With Bar in Guangdong, China

We went back to Zhongshan to visit some of our relatives, we booked this hotel because it is very convenient to everywhere and is at downtown. You will find snacks nearby, supermarkets and 2 major shopping malls. We booked the 60 sq. meter room but being upgraded to 90 sq. meter with executive lounge access. Not only this, the next day we were stuck at Zhongshan because of the strong wind, ferries all closed, the hotel offered us the same price booked for 60 sq. meter but still upgraded us to 90 sq. meter. This is actually very generous. Thank you team and taking care of us during our hassle.

My first visit to China was truly memorable. From the doorman to the reception and housekeeping team, every staff member was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. I was simply amazed by the high standard of hospitality and the warmth extended throughout my stay. It made me feel welcomed and cared for at every step. To add on . Daily brew soup is an awesome gesture ! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will definitely come again!

Frequent traveller obsessed with the gym. 1. Hotel is fine, like aged wine, tastes good if you like it, average if you don’t appreciate it. 2. Staff are excellent, from floor staff, lifeguard to reception at the concierge.&&& this was the best thing about the hotel. The staff 3. As mentioned, aged wine. It is an old hotel, the carpet in the rooms are comparatively aged as well. Which is not our cup of tea. 4. Gym is fine, big, but machines are at least 10 years old. 5. Swimming pool was acceptable. Can’t complain too much. 6. Kids thought it was ok, but there are better choices. But close proximity to luohu control point, nothing beats that.

Nothing to complain, always will be my favourite hotel group in china. Only my single breakfast I need to change table 3 times as there is no guidance by staffs to other guest in which table is available or not. Changing 3 tables is not what I expected by such a high standard hotel. Also, a male catering staff named Jan on the 27th floor where I had breakfast in caught my eye. He’s hard working as I observed and one moment in particular that caught me was he was brave and polite talking English to foreign guests. He’s English was not perfect but he wasn’t afraid which I am surprised because he’s English is better than some of the front desk staffs. I would like to see more training to this particularly individual and would love to see him in another job role in future on my next visits. He is someone you need to make the hotel great. He’s attitude and passion and braveness is top!

Taken this room for more than 10 times. It was good experience. However this experience and service are bad, the room has some bad smelling and the buffet breakfast was not good at all eg it seems not enough ppl to serve and refill is very slow with bad attitude. Hope this could be improved as this hotel is charged over rmb$ 1400 per night

Old hotel with lacking internet. Updated rooms. Expensive international restaurant on 58 th floor, mostly almost empty. Other option is to eat buffet in the night. Same area as breakfast. This area is lacking atmosphere, service and quality in food. Not 5 star service en general. Especially reception employees are lacking service standards. Location is very convenient for furniture sourcing. Exemption in services are bellboys. They are exceeding expectations ! Functional hotel for furniture sourcing but not more than that. Review written by 5 star hotel owner.  So maybe my opinion is more critical than general guest.

Good location but average room. This is a non-smoking hotel but I see cigarettes butts on my floor and smell cigarettes. Toilet is quite slippery so if you have elderly with you, gotta be extra careful. Insufficient privacy in toilet and shower. The glass panel are quite see-through. Insufficient shelf and hooks in the toilet to put your stuffs and hang your clothes.

Our stay at Chimelong Hengqin was excellent. The package we booked includes breakfast buffet, unlimited access to the Ocean Kingdom for two days, 1 night with 1-way yacht ride to or from the hotel. It also includes Chimelong show ticket for two. We booked this hotel for my birthday and it was a really great stay. We booked the Starlight room for us to see the fireworks display at night from our room. It was wonderful and the fireworkds display lasted for fifteen minutes. We had an excellent time. The only downside was that the frontdesk can’t speak English really well so she weren’t able to answer our questions regarding ocean kingdom passes, show schedule, etc. She didn’t give us an Ocean Kingdom map together with the tickets so we wasted a lot of time finding out the show schedule on our own. The assigned reception lady failed to direct us to go to the hotel lounge where our complimentary refreshments await. We learned about it only after we checked out by staying there while waiting for our car pick-up. There are two wings in the hotel: Seahorse and Dolphin. For the breakfast, we were informed to go to seahorse wing but our buffet is called “Dolphin Buffet”. We had to go back to the main lobby to ask where to go exactly.🤣🤣 Travel tips for foreigners visiting this hotel: Always have your translator app ready. Do your research and read other reviews thoroughly to know how to get around. The hotel itself is so huge. Going from one place to another takes some time. From 9-10am, the buffet area is packed and sometimes you are to be on queue for noodles, changfan, waffles and some others. Have breakfast early.😇

The staff was nice and helpful the outdoor pool was big enough to swim in, the room was clean there are plenty of restaurants nearby so you could never go hungry the view was great overall I recommend going here. The toilet can be changed to a new one but thats the only bad thing about this hotel, i think the hotel can also change the table to a bigger one so that people can eat without annoyance.

My family and I had an unforgettable wonderful vacation. Got great and helpful service from everyone of you, especially Mr Jim Tam, Mr Yeung, TC, 泰偉, Joker (breakfast), Andy (in Lounge & Bar), servers in Chinese restaurant, Janitor Li Yi Fei. A great variety of food is provided in the buffet breakfast. Personally love healthy fruit, grains and vegetables.
