The hotel is very good, stayed for two months. Gungahlin life is very convenient, nearby Coles, Aldi, Woolworths, Bunning Warehouse, Kmart, BigW supermarket, shopping is convenient. A very quiet, clean and well run hotel. Very close to Parliament House and a 15 minute bus ride from Canberra CBD (No. 59). There is a local shopping centre with lots of restaurants, cafes and a Coles supermarket only 10 minutes walk away. Plenty of off street parking if you have a car. A little distance from the city centre. I am self-driving and it doesn't matter. The facilities are very convenient, as well as bbq equipment. A lot of foreigners have stopped a variety of motorhomes. There are sports venues and children's rides.

The location is excellent, surrounded by great choices for restaurants, bars and convenience shops. Happy hour at the hotel 4-6pm about $14 for a schooner and wine. The room though was dated, and not the best value for money. Parking at the hotel is limited but has nearby parking options which cost less than the hotel’s daily rate.

The Abode in Woden was the nicest motel we’ve stayed in for a long time . The location was great . Staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant served great food . Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an affordable, clean modern motel

Great location when you’re in Canberra. About 15 mins walk to Kingston shops and restaurants. 5 mins walk to Good Neighbourhood Cafe on Wentworth Avenue. Major Canberra tourist sites not far away.

What an amazing stay. Everything was spotless, comfortable and a lot of thought put into what we would need as travellers. Food was amazing for both breakfast and dinner. Best meals I’ve had in a long time. The issue we had was difficulty with check in. There is not a ‘person’ there to help with anything. We will definitely be back again!

Modern hotel, pretty and clean apartment with all the amenities. The extra cot for our daughter was fantastic and they even bothered to make it look like a well-made bed. When checking out at the reception our daughter received a nice backpack gift from the staff. Impressed with the hotel, definitely we will come back. Ps. If we want to be picky, I would suggest changing the robes to softer ones.

We got referral from our friend and were very happy with our first experience here. We only stayed for 1 night. Clean, comfy, complete amenities. Close to everywhere, restaurant, supermarket, petrol. There are friendly staffs and easy to find the location. We will definately come back for our next trip to Canberra. Thank you so much.
