The hotel itself is modern and well-maintained, with clean and spacious rooms that feature all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The decor is stylish, and the facilities, including the self-check-in system, are convenient for a smooth arrival. However, it’s important to note that the location is a bit far from public transportation, which might be an inconvenience if you’re relying on buses or trains.but can go to Gojo station or bus stop for walking in 5-10 mins , the hotel offers good value for the quality of the rooms and service. The self-check-in system is efficient, and I appreciated that staff were on standby to help when needed. The hotel’s amenities were excellent, and the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room made up for the initial check-in experience.
The room is large and very quiet. It is very convenient to take bus No. 50/9 from Kyoto Station. Nearby is Kyoto Imperial Garden, which is not popular but definitely worth a visit. There are Chinese staff and you can rent bicycles. It is so fun to ride to the Kamogawa. There is a 711 nearby. There is a restaurant on the first floor where you can heat up the food you buy. You can eat while looking at the small garden~

Wonderful!!! I recommend very much!! New hotel. Check in and check out quickly, all online. We could leave the luggage before check in. Super comfortable and complete room. Having a wash-and-dry machine in the appetite is wonderful. Shampoo, air conditioner and soap very cherry and quality.Very good location, with metro station very close. One of the best hotels we stay in Japan.
This was a very comfortable place to stay at. Very spacious for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids). Complete with a small kitchen, washing machine and a place to dry your clothes in the toilet area. Because of this, it was really cosy to bathe in during winter as we could set it to be very warm.
The place was clean. All the front desk staffs we encountered were helpful & friendly, helped us with storing our luggage when we arrived early & wanted to check out early as well.
Location wise, it was slightly far from the city centre but there were two bus stations, one is right in front the hotel (this goes straight to places like Arashiyama). To the other bus station, it was around less than 10minutes walk. It’s also around 10-15min walk from major supermarkets & other convenience stores.
I would highly recommend this hotel esp for families.
Sorry we didn’t take any room photos tho to upload with this review.

The hotel is nice. Contactless check-in. But unfortunately it turned out to be very inconvenient inside. It is declared as a family hotel: there is a third place for a child, a kitchen, but there are some buts... there is nowhere for the family to sit and eat together. In the room there is 1 small table in the corner, which cannot be moved, and one chair. There is also a severe shortage of sockets. There is nowhere to charge phones and cameras. You need to turn off the kettle, refrigerator and microwave. Beautiful, clean, but a little inconvenient...

This hotel in Kyoto is very user-friendly. It even has a separate washing machine, kitchen, and drying utensils. The washed clothes are dry in less than a few hours. I like the location of the hotel the most. It is near the famous scenic spots and can be reached by foot. I like it very much. It is better than expected. I will definitely stay in this hotel again when I come to Kyoto next time.
The picture shows the clothes drying rack, which is great!

Overall, it feels like a new hotel, and the room is big enough. However, it is a bit annoying that there is no cleaning service within six nights, but you can choose to throw the accumulated garbage into the trash can downstairs, so it is acceptable! The location is actually quite close to the subway station, but it's a pity that the weather was too hot those days and even a few minutes' walk was painful (TT). The laundry room downstairs is also very convenient! You can use it with coins, and it's great that you don't need laundry detergent.

The first time I lived was with my children and mother in January. A family of 5 people lived in a suite. The room had a microwave and a washing machine. It felt very good. It was booked at Airbnb.
But in February, there were 3 people with girlfriends, and they booked a triple room, only to find the drawback, that is, the public laundry room on the first floor has three washing machines and dryers, not one. At night, we will really compete to wash clothes. We calculated our laundry time and came down to get clothes. We have been taken out by Korean friends downstairs. Then we dried again, and it was time to come down and get them, and they have been taken out. To sum up, my girlfriend and I have not seen a sock. Or do laundry in the morning and afternoon.
The blinds are all dusty, and the girlfriends are a bit clean. They have to wipe the bedside part clean. In addition, there are blinds, which transmit light and wake up at dawn.
In addition, it is very troublesome to check in, or write the information online first, or scan the code to submit the passport information on the spot, anyway, I have to fill it myself. I really want to ask, why? I have booked other homestays and hotels in Japan on Trip.com and Airbnb. I don't need guests to fill in the information by themselves. I can give the passport directly at the front desk.

The location is good. 2 mins walk to bus stop for Kyoto station. 4 mins walk to fresco supermarket. I like that there is laundry room 300 yen for washing and 100 yen for 30 mins dryer. Laundry pod is provided. The room is spacious per Japan standard. I love the idea of the kitchenette in the room and separate toilet and shower room. Free flow of coffee and tea by the reception. The walls are not soundproof so I could hear heavy steps from upstairs and coughing from next door. I’m not a light sleeper so I slept like a baby with the comfy bed.
Very satisfied with the house, the whole process is self-service check-in, if there is a problem, you can send a message to the landlord to solve it. Before the landlord will send a letter box number and letter box password. The room key is inside. The local area is very close to JR Nijo Station and the subway Nijojiqian Station. There are delicious shops on the road to JR Nijo Station. Salmon is very cost-effective, the hotel has all kinds of facilities, check out needs to store luggage can be locked at the front desk, with the key

SshankarsivaIt’s a 15-20 minute walk from Kyoto station in a pretty dark alley. The place was very clean when we arrived. There nobody at the counter and we checked in late around 8pm. The staff were kind enough to email us the pass code to our rooms and allow us to check in pass the usual operating hours. We were in Kyoto for 4 nights. The location is convenient and it was clean when we checked in however the room wasn’t cleaned on a daily basis, probably only cleaned once before check in. It’s not ok if you’re someone who expects the room to be cleaned everyday or every couple of days, otherwise it’s fine
The reception is located around 20-30 min walking distance from the inn(near Kyoto station). we wanted to leave our luggage at the reception for awhile after we check out, so we had to travel down to the reception with our luggage after checking out.
We had our luggage transferred from Narita airport to the the inn. We had to email the staff for assistance as the reception is not located at inn.
We overall had a good experience but do take note of the cons if your schedule/requirements are not as flexible. Staff replied to my emails very quickly and were very friendly and flexible.

VVeldaThis time I chose an apartment-style hotel, which is about a 1-minute walk from Exit 3 of Marutamachi Station on the Karasuma Line and a 2-3-minute walk from the Kinkakuji/Kiyomizu-dera bus stop. It is very convenient to reach various attractions. There are FamilyMart, 7-11, McDonald's, and supermarkets nearby. The room is spacious 👍, with kitchen utensils, oven, microwave, washer and dryer, electronic scale...all available. There is a large table in the room, which is a place where our family of five can go home every day to have late night snacks without being crowded. The teenagers enjoyed their stay very much and will choose this place again next time they visit Kyoto👍.

RRachelThe room is exceptionally big and clean. I’m a group of 3 adults and 2 kids. This room has everything that you need. Washing machine and detergent are available for our daily laundry. The best thing is they have drying mode for the bathroom. You can hang your clothes in the bathroom overnight and all your clothes are dried up the next morning 👍🏻 however, the washing machine did not work properly. I keep stopping by itself whenever it spins even though I put only 2 or 3 pcs of clothes in. Kyoto aquarium bus stops are just downstairs and nearby which can lead you easily to Kyoto Station in just few stops to take train around Kyoto.

Amazing
RRosalindIt is conveniently located with public transport (Bus stops and a little walk to Kyoto Station). Room is very spacious. The room practically has all the facilities we needed like the in-room washer/dryer, a dining table for 4, separate toilet and bath room. There's a family mart just round the corner which is very convenient. Staff are very helpful and the surrounding is very quiet. Best is that there is a Yamato (luggage delivery) nearby that makes our journey to next destination a less hassle one. The room is also very new and clean. Will definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at this ”spacious” house, which comfortably accommodates five people. The male receptionist at the shuttle van spoke fluent English and provided excellent service.
The location is convenient, just 1km with a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station, making it easy to explore the area. They offered a generous supply of 1.5L of drinking water, along with tea and coffee on the first day, which was a nice touch.
The premises also include a lift with a camera, making it very convenient for those carrying luggage. The toiletries and laundry detergent provided were of good quality, and the bathroom dryer function was incredibly useful for drying washed clothes. However, I did notice a slight leak in the toilet, which kept the floor a bit damp, so be cautious.
Overall, I would definitely choose to stay with Resi Stay again during my next visit!

TTricia MesinaWe had a great stay! The location is good, walking distance to Yasaka Shrine, Maruyama Park and Gion district. Lots of convenience store and restaurants nearby and there is also a 24 hr supermarket. It is near the bus stop where lots of Kyoto buses pass by. The place itself was clean and huge compared to other hotels. There is a separate kitchen and bathroom area with a tub. The bedroom is huge and we could unfold our luggage and still have enough space to walk around. They have provided a clothes drying rack and washing machine with detergent. There is drip coffee provided and some tea. Highly recommended if you want to stay in Gion district and walk around the Higashiyama area in Kyoto! There are lots to do around and a lot of temples within walking distance.
