I used it to attend an event. Searching and connecting was sometimes difficult in crowded areas, but otherwise I had no problems. Setup was easy. If you've never used an eSIM before, you'll need to understand that simply loading the card isn't enough, so you'll need to know which settings to turn on when you arrive and which mobile phone line to use. I haven't used customer service much, so I'm giving it a 4-star rating.

It just works. Even though the messages from the operator are confusing (some in Chinese, some in Thai, none in English), the service is great and if you install the Dtac app, you will be able to immediately see your usage. And yes, this esim does even have a Thai number with it, although no credits for calls with it, but still convenient if you need to receive authentication message from different apps that require a Thai number.

I'd previously rented pocket Wi-Fi, but this was my first time trying eSIM. I was very nervous before I left about whether I would be able to set it up, but I'm very happy with the results! What was particularly helpful was the customer support. I emailed them about my concerns before going to Thailand, and they carefully explained how to set up my iPhone with images, which helped me get it working smoothly after arriving without any trouble. As for the communication environment, thanks to the True/dtac 5G line, the speed was fast even in Bangkok and Pattaya, and I was able to use it comfortably without a single dropout. I no longer need to carry around a heavy pocket Wi-Fi, so this and eSIM will likely be my only choice for future trips to Thailand and overseas!


