[Hong Kong/Taiwan usage requires real-name verification]
According to the latest policies in Hong Kong/Taiwan, eSIM requires real-name registration before local use. If the eSIM is not used in Hong Kong/Taiwan, real-name registration is not required.
[How to complete real-name registration?]
After arrival - Install and activate eSIM - Receive real-name registration SMS - Use mobile data or airport free Wi-Fi to access the link in the SMS (https://www.three.com.hk/prepaid/account/tc/rnr-reg).
•One document can be used to register up to 10 eSIMs under real-name authentication. Once the quota is fully utilized, please contact customer service to release additional capacity.
[Renewal Instructions]
• Renewal orders are only applicable to the device bound to the original order and do not support device replacement. If you need to change devices, please do not purchase a renewal order.
• When the original eSIM data plan is exhausted, you can click the "Renew" button on the original order page to purchase a renewal. The renewed plan and validity period will automatically be added to your original order.
• If the original eSIM from your order hasn't been deleted from your device, you don't need to reinstall it - you can directly use the renewed data plan.
[Renewal Order Activation Rules]
After the data allowance of your original plan is exhausted, the internet speed will be reduced. However, the renewed data will only be activated automatically after the original plan's coverage period ends. If you need to terminate the original plan early and activate the renewed data, please contact customer support.
[Disable domestic SIM card roaming]
Before using the eSIM, be sure to disable data roaming on your domestic SIM card to avoid incurring high international roaming charges from using your domestic mobile network. You will be responsible for any related fees, including roaming charges, overseas SIM card/eSIM purchase costs, transportation expenses, etc., with no additional compensation provided.
[Uphold fair internet usage principles]
To maintain network connection quality and comply with the Fair Usage Policy (FUP), telecom carriers worldwide may implement data restrictions on customers who consume extremely high network traffic within short periods, which could result in loss of internet access or slower connection speeds. To ensure uninterrupted internet access, please avoid prolonged video streaming/downloading, software updates, internet sharing (hotspot), or other high data consumption activities.
