How to use
[Install eSIM]
Please click the "Install" button on the order page to attempt one-click installation. If the installation fails, please follow the steps below.
1. Open the QR code attachment from the order in the Trip.com app, and print it in advance or save it to another electronic device. (iOS 17 and above systems can directly save it to the phone)
2. Open Cellular Network (iOS) or SIM Card Management (Android) in Settings.
3. While the phone is connected to the internet, click "Add Cellular Network" (iOS) or "Add SIM Card Management" (Android) and scan the QR code to install.
4. If you can't scan the code, enter the "SM-DP+Address and Activation Code" from the order receipt to install.
5. If steps 3/4 fail, your phone may be locked by the home carrier (unable to use other carrier networks). Contact the carrier to unlock it before using eSIM.
 
[Using eSIM]
1. Turn off the primary SIM card and turn on the eSIM network switch.
2. Enable Cellular Network (iOS) or SIM Card (Android).
3. Turn on Data Roaming. (Delete this sentence if product doesn't need to switch on Data roaming)
4. If you still cannot connect to the internet after the above settings, set the APN and restart. See the information below for details.
 
[About APN]
1. If you purchase an eSIM that covers multiple countries/regions, and you cannot connect to the
internet upon arrival in a new area, manually switch the APN (it should switch automatically under
normal conditions).
2. Setting Path: Cellular Number --> Cellular Data Network, or Mobile Network --> Mobile Data Network,
or Mobile Services --> Mobile Data Network.
3. Enter APN: "cmhk" or "cmlink" ---> Please modify the APN yourself
4. Restart your phone.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 12:00 AM, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 12:00 AM 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
This product cannot be canceled after activation.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
Important note

[Phone Compatibility]

  • Your device supports eSIM function. Query Method: Dial "*#06#" in the dial interface. If "EID" is displayed, the phone supports eSIM; if not, it does not support eSIM
  • The phone is not a network locked phone. Query Method: Check with your Telecom Operator to see if your device is open for all network bands
  • Please check whether you meet the above conditions before purchasing. Only when both conditions are met can you use eSIM normally.


[Set up eSIM]

  • eSIM can only be installed when there is an internet connection Recommend to install your eSIM at your home country with stable internet or WIFI.
  • The plan starts only when the eSIM successfully connects to a mobile network within the coverage area. Installing the eSIM before your trip will not activate the plan or consume any validity period.
  • If eSIM is added on your phone, but cannot connect to the right network yet, it will display as 'activating'. Please restart your device in this case.


[Enable Data Roaming]

  • Please make sure that the "Data Roaming" option for the eSIM is enabled.
  • Please DISABLE the “Allow Cellular Data Switching" option in "Cellular Data"
  • Before activiating an eSIM at destination, make sure to TURN OFF data roaming on your domestic SIM/eSIM card to avoid incurring international roaming charges. No compensation will be provided for such charges from your local operator

Your phone must meet two conditions:

Yes, with dual SIM functionality, you can activate both a physical SIM card and an eSIM simultaneously.

How to solve eSIM hotspot issues? What can I do if my eSIM's hotspot is not working?

Due to varying phone models, if your eSIM supports hotspot functionality but cannot use it, try the following:
1. Check if your phone is a contract or locked device
2. Ensure any VPNs are disabled
3. Make sure to turn on data roaming
4. Check if the eSIM is set as the primary device
5. Update your phone to the latest version
6. Use a physical SIM for internet, enable hotspot sharing (ensure it's available), then switch to eSIM without turning off the hotspot. Repeat this process several times, including restarting your phone several times.
7. If none of the above work, contact customer support

What can I do if I lost my eSIM installation QR code? I am experiencing a "This code is no longer valid" error.

Where can I find the EID and IMEI on my phone?

The EID functions as a digital signature that links devices to mobile networks, typically comprising 32 characters, which include both letters and numbers. The IMEI, or International Mobile Equipment Identity, serves as a unique identifier for your phone and is generally 15 digits long.
For iPhones, you can find your EID and IMEI by going to "Settings" > "General" > "About" > EID/IMEI. Another quick way to find your EID and IMEI is by dialing *#06#, which will display a screen with your device information.
For Samsung phones, go to "Settings" > "About Phone" > "Status Information" > IMEI/EID

How do I activate a renewal?

For total volume-based eSIMs, the renewal will automatically activate after the first plan has been completely used up. You don't need to scan the code again for installation. Once the first plan is used up, refresh the network, wait a few minutes, and it will automatically renew for you.
For daily-based eSIMs: The renewal booking will automatically activate after the days covered by the first booking's package have used up. You don't need to scan the code again.
Additionally, if you want to use eSIM on a different phone, please do not place a renewal booking, as renewal bookings do not support changing phones.

Can I still purchase your service if I have already activated an eSIM on my phone?

Yes, your phone can store multiple eSIM profiles at the same time. You can choose which one to use in your phone settings.
