About 15 minutes walk to Registan Square. About 7 minutes to mini shop. It is located in a residential area in the back of the old town.
The courtyard is comfortable and you can feel the wind in the terrace seat. Breakfast is served individually. It serves quite a lot of fruit.
The room took off the shoes in the corridor. I stayed for 4 nights, but on the 3rd day there was cleaning and towel replacement.
There is a toothbrush in the room but there is no cup.
The air-conditioning is also good. Shower room, suitable hot water flow is good.
Check out on the way back and send it to the train station for free by the car arranged by the owner.
The owner of the inn, the eldest son, is friendly and speaks various English.
I was there off-season on March 8. There weren't many people in the hotel, the rooms were clean and tidy. There weren't enough robes in the room and I would have added something moisturizing for the body (cream) to the cosmetic set. A corkscrew and glasses. Overall, I recommend it, including using the spa area. There was no one there off-season, which is how I like it)
The hotel itself was very clean.
However, perhaps due to an issue with the hotel's facilities, there was a water outage, so I couldn't take a shower or flush the toilet.
Up to this point, I could have forgiven it, but when I checked out, I was charged for the laundry service, which I didn't use. I thought that if I had used it, there would be some kind of written documentation, but when I asked for one, they said there wasn't.
It left a bad taste in my mouth during my stay.
We are so happy and satisfied with this hotel until the day we checked out. We were accused of taking the laundry bag which is worth 300k Uzbek SUM. I went up with 2 staff and it turned out it was in the drawer all the time (the funny thing is I never even touched it.) I don’t blame these 2 staff as I know it is their responsibility to make sure nothing was missing/stolen (though next time it would be appreciated if they can check it more thoroughly.)
What truly pissed me off is the attitude from another female staff at the reception named Zarifa. From the moment we checked out, she just looked grumpy and when my friend said “we never used it”, she reacted with “I am sure you did” in a very rude way! Even later on, it turned out to be in the drawer in the room, she was not even apologetic (the other 2 staff at least said “sorry for the mistake.”
This is one of the 2 five star hotels in Samarkand and I just hope what we paid at this hotel is equivalent to the amount of respect you show to your customers. The hotel really NEEDS to put more training in your staff’s service.
By the way, we had a really nice chat with another staff named “Firdav” at the first floor bar (if I remember his name correctly, he is tall and bit skinny). He had worked in Hilton for 2 years and the professionalism and politeness he demonstrated is just another level. PLEASE LEARN FROM HIM THAT HOW A STAFF AT 5 STAR HOTEL SHOULD BEHAVE AND TREAT THEIR GUESTS!!
We really liked the hotel. It’s new, clean, with nice rooms and a good breakfast. Conveniently close to the airport; it’s better to take a taxi to the main attractions, but everything is within about 10 minutes. The staff are friendly and genuinely try to help the guests.
I stayed for one night on Samarkand sightseeing.
Amenities are also substantial. The room is clean.
The breakfast was delicious.
The restaurant in front of the hotel was delicious.
There are convenience stores, and I think it is perfect for sightseeing.
Facilities: The room was quite large for a family room, but the bathroom drain was terrible, overflowing whenever I showered. The hotel is generally dated, but its location is excellent, less than 500 meters from Kistan Square.
Cleanliness: My biggest complaint was the cleanliness. Upon check-in, I discovered the bed linen hadn't been changed. The cleaner was incredibly lazy, only coming once during my three-day stay.
Environment: On our first night, I was disturbed by a barking dog. After I requested it, they moved it away.
Service: The best thing about this hotel was the front desk staff, who were very polite. The breakfast service was also excellent.
Located in Samarkand, HAYAT PLAZA HOTEL & Spa features a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi. The hotel has an indoor pool, hot tub, karaoke and a shared kitchen.
The rooms come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, fridge, an electric tea pot, a shower, free toiletries and a closet. With a private bathroom equipped with a bath and a hairdryer, some accommodations at the hotel also feature a city view. All rooms have a safety deposit box.
Guests at HAYAT PLAZA HOTEL & Spa can enjoy a buffet or a halal breakfast.
The area is popular for hiking and cycling, and car rental is available at the accommodation.
Speaking English, Russian and Turkish, staff at the reception can help you plan your stay.
Samarkand International Airport is 5 miles from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.
The hotel lobby service is very average. The bellhops who drove to the lobby door were not enthusiastic and did not greet guests quickly. You had to call them. The check-in staff were also not enthusiastic and inefficient. Shouldn't they be enthusiastic and quick when you stay for two nights and extend your stay the next day? But the woman was impatient and perfunctory👎; the price is not low for local consumption. A very small room costs more than 1,500 RMB a night. Hilton is a five-star hotel, so shouldn't it provide corresponding services? The hotel's hardware facilities are good, but the soft service training is very poor. Because the hotel is remote and similar to a park, the driver who picked us up could not reach the hotel entrance due to the road closure caused by the local sports meeting, and the hotel shuttle bus was needed to take us out. After the bellhops sent us to the parking lot outside, he didn't even bother to help take the luggage out of the car, and just stood there waiting for us to take it ourselves. I really don't understand how the staff are trained. The service is very poor.

YYOLO around the worldAlthough it is a distance from the scenic spot, the price/performance ratio is very good
The room is clean and the hotel looks like a palace. It is first-class.
The staff were also very friendly, helping with luggage and providing the night show time at Registan Square.

ZZhizihuawuyueWe set a triple room, the room is very clean, the decoration is very special, the service is very warm, the breakfast is very rich, you can store your luggage, when you leave the store, you also help us arrange a free delivery to the train station, and send a special gift to the store, and also intimately take a photo with us! In short, the accommodation experience is great! The only fly in the ointment is that there are no slippers and shower caps!
