A True Eden with Exceptional Hospitality
My stay at Eden Beach Khaolak Resort was absolutely delightful! The resort lives up to its name—lush tropical gardens, a pristine beach, and stunning azure pools made me feel like I’d stepped into paradise. The Thai-inspired room design, paired with the soothing sound of waves, created the perfect relaxing getaway. The surrounding area was lively yet convenient, with easy access to local markets, restaurants, and shops, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

A special shout-out to Ms. Pure at the front desk for her outstanding service! When I needed help navigating public transportation to Phuket, she actively contacted the staff of the transportation company and added my contact information to find out if I was able to successfully board the bus that day. Her kindness and professionalism turned what could have been a stressful experience into a smooth and enjoyable journey. This level of care truly sets the resort apart!
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Khaolak. Highly recommended for travelers seeking both natural beauty and heartfelt hospitality!
I like to come here very much, like going to a dacha ☺️.
The hotel has large and beautiful grounds, very nice to walk around it and has a small private beach. The rooms are always clean and the bed is huge 🫶🏻
I recommend this hotel, maybe we are lucky, but we never caught buses with tourists, so it was super comfortable. A big plus that the pools work for a long time 👌🏻

Overall, this accommodation is not suitable for families. The bathroom is narrow, the toilet is not convenient to use. The hot and cold water system is very difficult to adjust. The facilities are not very complete. The hotel is a loft style. There are many dangerous points. If you have children, you have to be careful. My leg hit the edge of the bed and became bruised. There are amenities to use. The restaurant is a walk to the beach. The food is acceptable but not much. The front desk is narrow, crowded, and there is no waiting area. But with this price, it is worth it. There is drinking water on every floor. In the room, there is only green tea bags. The bed is very soft, very comfortable to sleep. The TV has YouTube to watch. I like it very much.
Pros:
- huge hotel
- wonderful breakfast: egg station, noodle station, Thai fruits or Thai sweet station, ice cream, fresh juice, bakery room, etc.
- great facilities: 3 pools, all day activities, etc.
- helpful staffs, special thanks to Sai at breakfast restaurant.
- comfortable bed
- big, well- equipped room: beach and in-room slippers, beach bag, etc.
Cons:
- no elevator
- situated in isolated location
Overall, happy to return and recommend :)

Thank you for the clean, comfortable room, very spacious.
Clean swimming pool
Delicious breakfast and the staff at ❤️ are all lovely ❤️❤️
Very impressed ❤️❤️❤️
My experience at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all expectations.
1. Tranquil Location & Stunning Views:
The resort is incredibly peaceful, with a breathtaking location surrounded by nature. The scenery is simply amazing — a perfect escape from the noise and crowds.
2. Beautiful & Quiet Rooms:
The room was calm, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views. The private pool made the experience even more enjoyable.
3. Outstanding Staff:
Most of the staff were exceptionally friendly, kind, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Their warmth really made a difference.
4. Minor Issue with Restaurant Credit:
There was only one issue during my stay — a misunderstanding with a restaurant staff member regarding the use of the resort credit. Unfortunately, the management handled it poorly by calling in the waiter to prove I was wrong. This approach was unprofessional and left a negative impression, which contrasted with the otherwise excellent service.
5. Amazing Restaurant Experience:
The food at the resort was outstanding — delicious, healthy, and with plenty of variety to suit every taste.
6. Fast & Efficient Transportation Within the Resort:
The internal transportation service was impressively responsive. On one occasion, I called for a buggy and they arrived even before I hung up the phone!
7. Highly Recommended:
I strongly recommend this resort to anyone seeking luxury, relaxation, and a unique experience surrounded by nature.
Final Note:
I would only advise the management to train the front desk staff to handle situations more gracefully. One negative moment should not overshadow the hard work and excellence of the rest of the team.

This is not a holiday for anyone who is not capable of walking. All of the rooms involve needing to go upstairs or walk for a while and there's not very even-footing available for those that can't walk very far. Even just to get into the lobby or into the restaurant you need to be able to walk upstairs a lot.
When you first arrive they do give you a quick rundown of all of the facilities available and they supply a map. Then someone will escort you to your room via golf cart. The front desk staff are very informative and helpful. The staff in the restaurant are very quick but not particularly informative. The first time you walk in nobody explained how the buffet works. You should approach the staff and give them your punch card before you get food.
The masseuse was excellent.
This part of the resort actually has quite a few restaurants and shops and a pharmacy in the area which is different to a lot of the hotels in Khao lak, so that actually makes it much better than some other places where you would have to get a taxi into the town centre to see anything.
The beach is beautiful and perfect for people that like to see little creatures as there are plenty of crabs around.
Very nice hotel on a quiet island. We had a villa away from the road, so we felt completely at one with nature. I think if the house is next to a busy main road, you will not feel such peace.
Amazing and varied breakfast!
Friendly staff.
The rooms themselves are shabby, but in this climate they are perfectly preserved. There may be stains on the walls, furniture.
The staff is not very focused on cleaning. They will change basic things, but they will not wipe away the dirt in the corners. And it is there, because you literally live in the forest.
Very important! On this side of the island there are very strong low tides and you can swim for a couple of hours a day. But you can take a scooter, the island has calm traffic and few cars. On the other side there is a great deserted beach without low tides.

First warm welcome upon we arrived. The bambu bar was cool, too.The facilities we didn't use much. We just spent time in the pool because we booked the pool access room types. So overall, it is a pretty good bit lot of mosquitoes 🦟 when we get into the room that we were booked for, and everything was perfect. Just the mosquito is so annoyed during we at the pool or outside around. Well, there's nothing much to say because of surrounded.
Check-in was great. We have juice for welcome drink
Check out a bit slowly, but I do understand them as front desk duty say apologies to me. (I'm ok) 🫰At least the housekeeper should be sprayed or asmatch prepare in the room. Would be a better deal during rain season.
Room service pretty quickly 😍
Definitely I will go back to stay there again deffo!

TTheSixthFloorThis is the newest hotel in Khao Lak, and overall, it is an excellent choice. The room I booked is spacious and well-designed, and it allows easy access to the beach. The hotel's breakfast is varied and of very high quality. I was particularly impressed with the amenities provided in the room, such as snacks and the delightful cartoon-themed towels that changed daily. The hotel's beach is private, peaceful, and clean. Although the hotel is somewhat distant from the Khao Lak center, if you appreciate tranquility and truly want to relax, this is an outstanding option in Khao Lak right now.

LLily in wonderlandMy family and I just stayed at the JW Marriott in Khao Lak and had a fantastic experience! The rooms were spacious, with big, comfy beds and natural product toiletries. Every morning, the breakfast spread was delicious and varied, featuring freshly squeezed juices and authentic Thai coffee made with high-quality ingredients. The kid's area offered daily activities, and bike rentals were easy; I highly recommend biking around the beautiful gardens. The service was friendly, efficient, and attentive. The pool area was impressive—it's the biggest pool I've seen at any property! Plus, direct beach access was a wonderful bonus. If I return to Khao Lak, I would definitely stay here again with my family!
GGuest UserThe hotel is not very new, but it is well maintained. The environment, service, and rooms are all very good. The service details are perfect. The beach outside the hotel is soft and long, and the sunset every day is so beautiful. In addition, the swimming pool and the thoughtful breakfast that can be ordered all day are also plus points. In addition, it was Songkran Festival, and the hotel warmly invited guests to participate in their celebrations, allowing us to spend an unforgettable festival together. Thank you very much. The hotel made me feel refreshed after diving, and we will come back
JJeanette VictorLa Flora was the 11th Hotel I stayed at since I left Taiwan on the 23rd July, 2023. And, I absolutely loved it! Our family enjoyed a lovely dinner while the sun was setting. It was wonderful to sit at the beach and have breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was great! We also enjoyed the pools a lot. La Flora is great for families. I will upload a video of La Flora on my YouTube Channel. thatfoodiejeanette
Thank you to everyone at La Flora who made our stay enjoyable.
NB The highlight for me was the 2 Man Band! They just made my evening very special.
CChayadaDuring our stay, we noticed a few service issues that we’d like to share for your improvement. For example, the receptionist is usually the first impression of any hotel. As Thai guests, we naturally expect polite and respectful communication, especially the consistent use of “krab” when speaking. However, the receptionist only said “krab” once, at the very end of the conversation. It felt unusual, and we weren’t even sure if he was Thai. This small detail made the interaction feel less warm and professional than expected.
Another issue we experienced was with the à la carte dining. We placed our order and waited for 40 minutes without any update or communication from the staff. When we finally asked about the delay, we were told we’d have to wait another 30 minutes. Only after that did the staff consult with the manager and offer us some food from the buffet, but at that point, it was already quite late and there weren’t many other dining options nearby. Ms. Bowy, the Restaurant Manager, kindly offered us a cocktail or some drinks, but what we really needed was food. She later offered a 20% discount for that meal, which we appreciated, but the whole experience was disappointing.
Lastly, during breakfast, we understand it was a long weekend and the hotel was likely busy. However, since occupancy can be anticipated, we believe better preparation could have been made—both in terms of staffing and seating arrangements. When we mentioned the crowd and the wait for a table, the staff simply said, “You should come earlier for breakfast,” which didn’t feel like a very helpful response.
We truly enjoyed the atmosphere and setting of the property, but we hope these comments help in improving the overall service experience for future guests.
GGuest UserWas booked as a birthday treat. If you like organised activities and timetables then it's for you.
On arrival they asked for passports, out to the car to get, then voucher, out to the car to get, then a copy of my credit card.
Really was not happy with that and thought it unnecessary as they had details from booking as the room was paid for,it made me very uncomfortable.
The main swimming pool was large but had only one place to get in so was a long walk.
We ate outside the hotel at one of the many less expensive restaurants. Our view from our room in block 13 overlooked a dilapidated roof of the Thai themed restaurant, didn't compel us to eat there. The room itself was comfortable and clean and we loved the dressing gown, it's our thing. WiFi around the resort was good. Sunset memorable.
A great place for families that like a package holiday. Not for us.
PPlum31Our stay at Merlin Khao Lak was pretty great. We had a week there, and sincerely enjoyed the feeling of staying in a contained and nicely taken care of rain forest by the beach.
The location was nearly perfect, but the beach itself wasn't very swimmable (beginning of rain season, to be fair). Fortunately, there were other beaches on the same coast that were nicer during the same time of year, so we did get time in the sea water. Even without sea swimming, the ambience from the waves and the sunsets made the beach plenty nice for us at Merlin. There is also a variety of nicepy kept pools to enjoy, though I typically don't enjoy pools personally.
Service/food were both nice as well. The staff was pleasant enough, but it did feel weird that an ecologically minded resort had the least meat/dairy alternatives of any of the several resorts/hotels we stayed at. I found ordering curries with no seafood or meat simple though, and they were mostly still good. The massaman curry was a miss, but everything else I tried was quite good for resort food!
We really loved the touch of the room's default tv channel being an info channel about the resort's wildlife and maintenance. That, plus the several info booklets allowed us to have a more guided and knowledgeable experience while sightseeing on the exceptional grounds. It was really fun running into others who were also just having a look around and waiting to see a different animal pop up.
We enjoyed our stay. Next time we'd likely come back, while also spending some time up the coast a bit.

AAhculawMy overall experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, every staff member greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. The team went out of their way to make me feel welcome and relaxed, providing great hospitality at every turn. In particular, I have to mention Khun Kath – her kindness, attentiveness, and friendliness truly stood out and made my stay extra special. I always felt like a valued guest thanks to her wonderful service and the positive attitude of the entire team.
My room was perfect in every way: spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully appointed. The room had all the amenities I could possibly need. I really appreciated how well the room was maintained and how everything just worked. It was a peaceful space where I could unwind fully after a day of exploring the resort’s activities.
Speaking of activities, everything was very well organized. The resort offered a great range of fun things to do, and each activity was managed smoothly. My morning, the delicious breakfast which had a good variety of hot dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, and more. One small note: the grill restaurant was just average.
