Second time here hehe, and it still feels just as special. Perfect escape from the busy city life. Everything about it is so calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The atmosphere really helps you slow down and just enjoy the moment. Nights can get quite dark around the resort, but honestly it adds to the whole serene vibe and wasn’t an issue for me at all. Overall, a lovely place to unwind and recharge. Would definitely come back again.

The staff were kind and helpful. The location is fantastic, with two boat taxis on the beach. Prices start from 10 MYR and go up per person for a one-way trip. À la carte restaurant prices range from 15 MYR to 60 MYR. There's an internal shop with drinks, snacks, and essentials like aloe vera, sun protection, and sanitary pads, etc. No alcohol is allowed on the property. The sea is teeming with life: lots of fish, rays, and we even saw three turtles and a couple of small sharks – truly amazing. The downside was the speed of the kitchen; service was slow for both à la carte orders and replenishing the breakfast buffet. For example, dining as a couple, the first dish arrived at 7:05 PM, and the second dish didn't arrive until 7:25 PM – that’s the longest wait time we experienced. The Wi-Fi in the room showed a signal but never connected, and the Wi-Fi at reception was very slow. On the first day, only boiling hot water was available in the room, and on subsequent days, only cold water. The sun loungers are wooden and have no cushions. The tennis and badminton courts look like they've been abandoned for at least a year or two, covered in sand and high grass. Frankly, the only positive aspects are the marine and terrestrial life around the resort. So, you're essentially paying for the surrounding nature, which isn't thanks to them. The price is completely disproportionate to the services offered.

Amazing location right on the sea view. Place clean Wonderful infinity pool We enjoyed the place almost at the end of the season and some services were not available, this was quite annoying as we book the place to experience all the services described. The staff has been friendly but they could do better. Restaurant was good even if we can only had a la carta menu as the buffet was not available. Attached to the jetty pier. Spa was ok, staff very kind even I would recommend this place for relaxing couple trip

This is our second time here but surely will not repeat anymore. The first time i went oklah the service acceptable sbb baru buka, give a chance. So far ok. Second time i bring my families here plus its my anniversary date, ingat nak rileks2 lpas srabut kerja, bila datang ya ampunn makin serabut servicenya, aaaa first time dtg hotel 5 star rsa nk cepat2 balik.Service kaunter check in serabut ya aampun. Slow and steady 30-40 min duk kt lobby. Staff plak mcm intern ,girl yg putih2 tu. Tertukar bilik, tertukar nama booking, tertukar bilangan blk, connecting x available.dah 30minit urusan trace nama x settle2. Dhla kepala pening lpas naik bot, pastu dah settle, bg bilik jauh2 plak dah, ank kecik2 blk jauh, baik takpayah la sy ckp tukarkan la satu blk lagi tu jd credit point boleh guna utk dlm hotel, x boleh plak, last skali dpt la blk connecting. Yg settle lelaki pakai spek, tp ya ampunn customer servis out dengan muka serabut dia, muka nk marah, muka x de eye contact ngn customer. Dia kata x jauh mna pon blk ngn bangunan sebelah, aiii ank umur 3,4 taun, ingt pndai urus diri ke? Geramnya lah, kalau hotel lain, kalau mcm ni pnya first impression, dh ptt dpt free upgrade, tnggu pnya tnggu, ak ckp nk jmpa manager, dan2 ada connecting tu, jauhh dr adik bradik lainnn tapinya, dh masuk blk, happy anniversary nama org lain plakkk, nama adik aku,, dia tertukar! Pdahal booking asing2 tu. dh malam tu, x de eelctric la plak blk sbeleah, pagi bru call service nasib pantas.staff baku merah kt restorant tu snyumla skit dh mcm kna paksa keja ngn parents dh nengoknya, mknn can improve, average for hotel 5 stars yg sy pernah pergi,. Lastly, staff kat kids club double standard ea, layan ank2 omputeh + muma subtitle. Hurmm beginila nasib bila bukan artis/ influencer. Lain sangat dngn staff taaras, The Danna, Hurm .lastly staff buggy ad mncarut ye atas buggy smbil ckp walkientalkie dia tu.x manisla mcm tu, rempit sngt tu dik, depan guest, tp overall staff buggy je boleh bg markah lebihh.. sorang tu je mencarut yg lain smua sopan2 welcoming dan sngtt cepat servis. Overall, kecewa skit.itulah kisah cuti yg makin serabut, marilah kita smbung kerja,

Our time at Summerbay Resort was really pleasant. Very friendly staff and very good service. The deluxe pool view room was clean and had good amenities and a nice view of the pool. At no point did it feel like this trip was not worth it. The beach in front of the hotel is wel maintained with plenty of baby black tip reef sharks to see while snorkeling. The included breakfast was good, with good food and plenty of seating. For dinner though I would advise to go to Seaview cafe. The dinners and the quality of the food are amazing. Special shoutout to chef Chris for cooking delicious dinners 10/10! We're writing this review as European guest. Communicating in English was not a hassle at all.

Its a last minute booking and we didn't select for any package. The service is good where they wait for us during arrival and help us to carry our bags, serve light refreshments during check in and the staffs also friendly. The service that need to improve is no staff is available during not peak hours, the call is not answered and the request to change the rusted kettle is being ignored. The amenities are old and not well managed. The floor is dusted, the mirror frame in the toilet is broken, the balcony wood also broken and it can be dangerous if small kid left alone. The food is good and the price is reasonable. We pay for the dinner buffet and its quite satisfactory.

I took my family here during the April spring break in Chengdu. The private beach is truly beautiful, a typical 'jellyfish sea' with crystal clear water. Just a few hundred meters from the shore, you'll find a turtle spot – you can even paddle there yourself. There were so many turtles! When someone was feeding them, we saw nearly ten at once. The hotel also offers a lot of entertainment, most of which is free, including tennis and pickleball. There are Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, in the restaurant, and even for the turtle explanations, so communication in Chinese was not an issue. The head chef and the turtle researcher are both of Chinese descent; we often chatted with them, and sometimes they even helped us with translations. The hotel service is incredibly thoughtful, let me tell you about two things. First, while my wife was swimming in Turtle Bay, the lanyard of her waterproof phone pouch broke. The water was probably almost 10 meters deep. She only realized it after returning to shore, and her mood just plummeted. When the staff at the dive center found out, they immediately contacted a diver to search for it. Luckily, they found it, and the phone was perfectly fine and usable inside the pouch – she was absolutely thrilled. The other thing is, our return journey was very early, we had to leave at 6 AM. The front desk thoughtfully and proactively packed us a generous breakfast to take with us for the road.

The room was spacious and clean, and there's a great snorkeling spot right next to the hotel. I especially appreciated the restaurant; the food was excellent, and every dish was exceptional. It's definitely one of the best restaurants I've tried during my years of traveling in Southeast Asia. Finally, a special thank you to Paul for taking care of every detail. I'll definitely go back if I have the chance.

Hotel best gilaaa!!, service veryyy the tiptop. Service kena dengan hotel 5star veryy friendly ye staff dia. Setiap petang akan dapat free drink and sedap ye smoothie dia. Breakfast palinggg onzz yee mcm mcm pilihan. Bilik overall okayy cuma takde tv. Plus staff akan kemas bilik and topap balik air botol if dh habis. Then, Area hotel banyak kedai makan waktu malam juga so u guys takkan boring. Mknn sedap2 cuma aga priceyyy sikit la. Jadi kene standbyyy wangg yg byk coz of dlm tu tkde atm.

The room is large, with a courtyard, and a little bit of a Maldivian feel, but no hair dryer was found. The food is good, the taste is OK, the ingredients are fresh, and it is slightly more expensive than other nearby restaurants. The service is still quite enthusiastic, especially the on-demand food service staff for breakfast, who are very enthusiastic and proactively ask if there are any dishes that need to be ordered. Proactive service is precious and feels very good. However, the front desk service is perfunctory, seemingly enthusiastic but not solving the problem. After waiting for a long time, no one took the initiative to tell us that we can check in. We went to the front desk to ask, and a few chatty waitresses smiled and said that it was ok now. When we left, we missed the boat because the front desk arranged to wait for the water taxi. Obviously, we were very anxious and asked many times, but the front desk told us that there was no problem. The boat is often late. I asked them to call the shipping company to inform us that we have not boarded the boat yet, and I guess there was no communication. I was speechless. The service to customers should not be just superficial enthusiasm. I hope to really solve problems for guests instead of creating problems.
