Hotel located conveniently 1 min walk from Shizuoka station. Room is much bigger than standard Japanese hotel so it's a great point. Lobby gives us a high class feel. However, one only down point is there are no laundry at the hotel so for people who stay long it might be a point to turn it down. Other than that, the rest are perfect.

Hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from JR station (not connected to station) with many shops or restaurants nearby. Rooms were good size and there were amenities available in the lobby (such as face wash, cream) along with free coffee in the morning. However was a bit disappointed with the maintenance of the room as there were some wood peeling off near the bedside counter.

It is what you can expect from a Dormy Inn : lots of freebies, a comfortable room and a bathhouse area with the bonus point of having a good Mount Fuji view especially if you get the rooms facing the right side. The hotel's clearly geared for people who drive, there is two main carpark areas but it can get filled up quite quickly during peak holiday periods. The breakfast was sumptuous and excellent as expected from a Dormy Inn. There is a nice late night soba service and popsicles in the evening. Location wise, it is only a short drive away from the Gotemba Premium Outlets and some local sights. It is located next to Chichibunomiya Memorial Park with a former villa. The hotel is also pretty new.

This was probably the best experience i had during my visit to Japan. The ryokan feels authentic yet luxurious, the service id amazing. The personnel speaks english very well. The room was just what we wanted, very spacious, tatami floors, a balcony with a city view. We even had a little bath that you could fill with water from the hot spring. The dinner was exquisite, very authentic and delicious. The breakfast was just as good, although the amount of fish dishes might be a little overwhelming for foreigners. The best part though was obviously the onsen. The cable car that takes you to the onsen really added to the experience. We had the chance to go in the evening and in the morning. Both times there were no other people. It was raining in the morning and i definitely recommend going to the onsen while it rains if you get the chance. After checking out we were offered a ride to the station by the owner, and we had a nice chat on the way. So i absolutely recommend this ryokan, i wish we stayed longer

Hotel view was lit, especially when you can see Mt Fuji on a very good day. Location is very near to the Mishima station, the lobby is on the second floor of the building next to the Mishima station. You can get your Fuji express bus tickets just outside the station. Bus to the Gotemba outlet is also around the same area. Hotel cleanliness was good. However the reception was so so, as they did not provide further help when I seek for their assistance as I had left my backpack on the Shinkansen. The highest floor has an open bath for both women and male, requires a card to reach there. Hotel room provides the necessary towels in a basket for you to bring up and the toiletries are available as well. Would be a good view to see sunrise or sunset of Mt Fuji from the high level if there’s a chance. The room TV shows you the vacancy of the open bath and washing machine but it was not accurate for the open bath.

The room is quite big, divided into a sleeping area (Western style) and a leisure area (Japanese style), very cost-effective, it was dinner time when we arrived at the hotel, the hotel has wagyu bento to choose from (there is also a restaurant), very good, the room faces the sea, you can enjoy the sea view in the morning, there is a hotel shuttle bus to the JR station

Service staff polite and helpful. Provided us with a flask willingly and was always cheerful and welcoming each day Breakfast was basic but good enough. Location was very convenient. Restaurants easily accessible

JR Numazu Station is a 3-minute walk away. There is a pizza shop and Lawson downstairs, and a McDonald's opposite. From the south exit, you can take a bus to Numazu Port for seafood. The location is very convenient for travel. The surrounding environment is very peaceful and we spent a comfortable night here. The hotel facilities are very new. There are massage chairs, bathtubs, ironing boards and plenty of space in the room. The supplies are also very high-end, including Sekkisei and DHC. recommend!

I loved the hotel, services and amenities was wonderful, food is great, rooms clean and nice with beautiful view on Mt Fuji! Onsens was also an amazing experience, just the location for local transfer is a little far away.

What an intensely beautiful and comfortable hotel to stay at. Mount fuji view room type is a definitely must choose. Perfectly clean and great amenities. For those who rent a car to travel within mount fuji, this place is a must stay.

I can see Mt Fuji from my room but the sound insulation is very bad can hear the train running clearly even with the windows closed . Location is great as it’s near to JR station and fish market Room is tiny though, squeeze for 2 Pax

Excellent location right next to the Shizuoka JR station. Really appreciate they will still drop you towels and water while on DND mode policy. Laundromat and ice machine all equipped. But breakfast is not good only serving different types of bread even it’s from famous bakery

A great hotel with a large public bath near the station and breakfast. I don't eat breakfast and only drink coffee, but the breakfast is so delicious. Is this what Japanese home cooking tastes like? Miso soup is my style. The small croissants are so delicious. Eat three! Since I was traveling with my mother, I chose a hotel near the station or bus terminal. On my previous trip, I stayed at Kuretake Annex Inn (5-minute walk from Ekimae). Honestly, I like Annex better. This time, I made a reservation at Ekimae because there were no seats due to the end of the year, but it's great value for money because you can sleep, walk to Shizuoka Station (5 minutes), Shin-Shizuoka Station (10 minutes), and Senoba (10 minutes). Everyone was so kind and nice, but the large public bath was so small and crowded that I couldn't use it even once. It's such a shame. ㅠㅠ Soundproofing... Especially, I can hear the sound well beyond the door.. I wonder if the students came to play in groups (it seems that many sports students use it in groups) and they are loud and shouting in groups.. I booked a room with two beds and it was really nice. Aside from the old floor feeling and soundproofing, the hot water, heater, and air conditioner are really nice. There is also a Ministop convenience store 1 minute away and a Lawson 3 minutes across the street. If the breakfast place is open in the evening, it would be so nice to forget what I bought at the convenience store ㅜㅜ It's too small to eat in the room Still recommended😀

Everything was perfect. The room is spacious. We got even extra bed .  hotel manager they are good.  clean with mineral water from Fuji. Go The Room at the corner is not so quiet actually it was a sound from the road just a little bit.

The environment is very good and the breakfast is very good. The price-performance ratio is high and the service is also very good. Shizuoka is a really great city.

Yijia to the hotel, the hotel has free parking. The room was clean and tidy, enough space to open a large suitcase, and there was a large public bath. Very cost-effective! Self-driving tour must be pushed!

Excellent location within walking distance to major tourist locations and shopping and dining districts as well as public transports. Carpark is available across the road at 1100 Yen for 24 hours. I chose room with breakfast for 2 and it is well value for money. The spa, though small, but is well kept and much undertilized. In fact, I am the only one using the spa. Environment, services and facilities are all up to good standards. Guests can also have free access to the coffee and soft drinks machine around the clock.

Transfer at Shinkansen Shizuoka Station to JR Shimizu Station, and then walk a few hundred meters to the hotel. The hotel is not big, but clean and tidy. About 1.5 kilometers away, there is a shopping mall. The third floor of the mall is the Chibi Maruko-chan Museum. Opposite the mall is a waterfront coastline where you can see Mount Fuji. When I checked out, the female boss gave me a small gift with Shimizu characteristics.

The location is not good if you don't have a car. I had heavy bags and it took me about 40 minutes to reach the hotel. I took a taxi back to the station after check out which cost 1200 yen. It is in a bit of an isolated area. Closest convenience store was about 10-15 mins on foot. The hotel itself is nice, clean and new. Rooms a bit small but I had a spectacular view of Fuji from my window. The bed was new and very comfortable. Remember to take a taxi from the station if you have a lot of luggage.

Stayed at this hotel for one night just for the view of mt fuji, did not use too much of the amenities. Travelled to gotemba premium outlets but it’s a bit troublesome to get back to the hotel, quite difficult to get a taxi - had to go to jr gotemba station and took a while before we managed to get back. Location is a bit far out and very few trips for the free shuttle bus. The cleanliness of the room is just alright, a bit of mould but it’s okay.

The hotel is a 5-8 minute walk from the JR station and the outlet shuttle bus station. If you are dragging a suitcase, it will feel a bit far away, and there are not many restaurants nearby. But the hotel is very clean and you can see Mount Fuji.

Business style room that is ok sized for the price u pay. Staff was helpful to move our items up to our room prior to check in. They offer an eco friendly room cleaning option, and if selected, you will receive tokens for a free can of beer. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and easily accessible by car. There is free onsen but I didn't manage to try

Location: Near to Shinagawa Station which link to most of the place you will visit as a tourist. Cleanliness: the room is clean, not feeling any uncomfortable. Service: We reached the hotel around 8pm after visit Gotemba Premium Outlet, the reception staff is not english speaker but we still able to communicate via google translate & some body language. Facilities: we do not have time to try their facilities, but in room facilities is well maintained. check out process is simple and is friendly. View: I forgot which floor we stayed, but the view is awesome, before we checked out we can see the Mt. Fuji which is superb.

The waiters are very enthusiastic and attentive! The hotel has an open environment and feels like nature! I like the surrounding scenery very much! But I still have a small comment: the check-in notification process is a bit cumbersome, and the notification is still oral. The air conditioner in the room is not good at heating, there is no heater, and the room is not warm enough. You need to cover yourself with clothes when sleeping at night. The plastic slippers were a bit dirty, there was no washing machine in the room, and the signs indicating the way to the room at night were not reflective or lighted up, so it took me a long time to find them. Only one towel is given for washing. Didn't you know that you need two towels for the night and the next day? The room lights cannot be adjusted and the brightness is not enough.

It's a very clear and beautiful place. You can take pictures of Mount Fuji here. It's a resort area and it's also a peaceful town at night. It's a good choice to come here to enjoy the scenery.

I suppose the charm of Atami is that the whole area is a little bit 'dated' as far as a resort goes, and this hotel definitely aligns with that - it seems like a place that was once great and is now kind of just rolling along bringing in what money it can. The food is serviceable but totally uninspired - an upscale cafeteria masquerading as something better than it is with 'chefs' wearing their whites. The entire dining room constantly smells of fryer oil from the tempura - which they still make and keep stock of in such large quantities that it is never fresh and crispy anyways (especially the shrimp, which has not been sufficiently dried before battering). The remaining hot dishes are very disappointing both in terms of variety and overall flavor. The sushi and sashimi is the standout of the food, although it too is very basic - not anything that will blow your mind, but acceptably tasty and reasonably fresh (although on our second night everything tasted a bit soapy/bleachy). As a westerner you will be very disappointed by the breakfast, although that's a 'me' problem rather than a hotel problem per se. The spa facilities are nice but a bit dated - be careful in your selection of both time and location unless you want to be surrounded with many loud (mostly Chinese) children. Private spas are available and are quite nice, although again dated. Nonetheless at around 60 USD for an hour the price is good for the privacy, especially as a westerner who is otherwise subject to quite a bit of staring at this mostly local and Chinese spa. We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed, and a (For japan) reasonably sized tub. Room and desk service was good. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but has regular free shuttles to/from Atami station, which is where the main tourist streets for shopping etc can be found. Highly suggest checking out Golden Eye for some excellent Ramen.

We came to see the Atami fireworks. The area was packed. Considering that we had to leave after the fireworks, we chose the New Fuji Hotel, which was about 200 meters away. There was a hotel shuttle bus at 15:00 in the afternoon. We also provided drop-off after 9:00 in the morning. The room was for 6 people. Breakfast and dinner buffet was provided. There were many choices of dishes. There were also entertainment equipment, large baths, etc. It was an economical choice. The price/performance ratio was very high. Recommended

The hotel was great, wonderful service, good food, nice staff overall, however, Fuua spa was a bit disappoint with no extra towels to use. I would suggest to bring a bottle of drinking water or you would have to purchase. We stayed in the mountain side because it was cheaper but the ocean view would be great. You can see ropeway going up and down on the mountain side. Bus runs for free between the station and the hotel every 20 minutes or so. No reservation needed. It’s right in front of McDonalds at the station. Bus is not large. I would suggest to get there a bit early if you want to sit with your company together. You have a half off ropeway discount in the card you get at the check in counter so don’t throw it away after check out the hotel :)

The staff noticed our behavior and spoke to us before we arrived, so we were able to spend our time from check-in to check-out feeling fulfilled. The room was clean and had a nice ocean view, and all the drinks in the fridge were free, and the mandarin orange juice was delicious. The open-air bath was infinity, in a spectacular location, and the temperature was perfect. The freshly made omelettes at the breakfast buffet were soft and delicious. I would definitely like to return as a treat.

The bathroom is surprisingly clean. The location is good and not far from JR, but there is a slope. There is only one bathroom. The boys' bathing time is too short. They will not have enough time to take a bath after returning from the fireworks festival. Basic toiletries, disinfectants, etc. are all provided. Anyway, there are many charged items, so it’s best to bring your own. Breakfast is a bowl of Ochazuke rice with an egg. The self-service option includes dishwashing. If you don’t have any requirements for breakfast, you can consider it.

The host couple were wonderful, accommodative and helpful, as mentioned in many reviews. Although a little confusing to locate initially, it is actually quite accessible to the shopping and restaurant areas. We love the spaciousness and layout of the room. The Hinoki bath was a star feature for us. We will definitely want to visit again. Thank you to the special hosts🙏🏼

It has a shared toilet and a Japanese-style room, and you have to make your own bed. It has the flavor of local travel in Japan! You can watch Atami Beach and the sunrise from the rooftop terrace, which is beautiful. It is very inconvenient to carry luggage up and down the mountain. It is recommended to take a taxi, but it is not far from the beach and shopping street, but the entire Atami is on a slope. If you know how to use it, checking in without anyone is actually quite convenient.
