Nice family hotel and centrally located opposite the train station with many restaurants choices. Checkin was a breeze and room was clean and spacious. Breakfast that came with the hotel stay was excellent with many choices and sufficient refills. Carpark was chargeable at 1200y per night at the next building and walking to carpark can be cumbersome for some during bad weather. Highly recommended place for those looking for accommodation in this part of the city or exploring the city.

Advantages: convenient transportation, convenient for eating, drinking and playing. The room is soundproof and the railway is right under the window, which has little impact. Disadvantages: The room is relatively old, the window cannot be opened so the air is poor, and the room lighting is relatively dim.

Location is far from most of the attractions, will be nice to have a car. It took me 15 mins to walk from Tomei Gotemba Highway Bus station. There are free shuttle buses provided to Gotemba Premium Outlet from this station. The hotel is very comfy, suitable to chill and enjoy the hit spring, good for family vacation. Free flow soba from 9.30 till 11pm, free yogurt drink and ice cream as well. The view from room is amazing! Basically can just stay in room and enjoy Mt Fuji view

The view of Mt. Fuji from the large window on one side of the room is really great. From Mt. Fuji under the moonlight to Mt. Fuji in the bright sunlight... You can see Mt. Fuji indefinitely while lying on the bed. The staff is also friendly, and some of them speak Korean, so I was able to communicate comfortably. There is a little dust in places that are not easily visible, but the cleanliness and bedding were generally good. The view from the lobby and hot springs was also really good. I felt that many of the guests were Chinese.

This hotel is right next to the Mishima train station for both regular JR trains and Shinkansen trains on Tokyo-Osaka line. One can walk in without even cross the road. Access if from the first floor (ground) and the reception is in the second floor. There is a small shopping area in the ground floor. Rooms are of good size with separate seating area. Beds are comfortable and have all facilities expected in a first class hotel. More importantly the toilet and bathroom are in sperate enclosures. If one gets the station side rooms, one could see Mt Fuji in all its glory. Breakfast is good with a choice of Japanese and western dishes; and staff is quite helpful. The only issue is that noise insulation could be little better; it is certainly not comparable to what we found in a hotel situated next to a busy train track.

Fast check in process. Very clean and comfortable. Lawson and family mart close to hotel. Very close to main road. Lots of parking lot.

We had an amazing time in this great Ryokan! The staff is great, the food is delicious and hot tubs super/very clean. We spent 2 weeks in Japan and our 4-night at Yokikan offered calm, relaxing and reinvigorating time in this traditional Japanese hotel, perfect for the family. Ito is also a beautiful city to visit. The hotel owners (husband and wife) are amazing and the staff too. We will go back for sure.... What an intensely beautiful and comfortable hotel to stay at. Mount fuji view room type is a definitely must choose. Perfectly clean and great amenities. For those who rent a car to travel within mount fuji, this place is a must stay.

I suddenly decided to go to Numazu and made a reservation on the night of the day of my stay. I was confused because the entrance was a little difficult to understand, but the front desk was simple and clean and very beautiful. The room feels like an ordinary hotel, but the bath is amazing! I imagined a unit bath in an ordinary hotel, but the unit bath here is wide without a feeling of oppression, and it is partly wood grain and the design is nice. I thought it was a hotel made by Daiwa House. The price is not high, so I will definitely use it again next time I go to Numazu. The bath was a high score anyway. By the way, there is a corner with a microwave oven and vending machine on the top floor. There is a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite the hotel, so you don't have to worry if you're hungry in the middle of the night! The station is close, and the parking lot (1 day 1000 yen) is also available, so the convenience is excellent.

It was a hygienic and good business hotel. It was raining because there was a covered sidewalk a little walk to the station, but I was able to go out to eat without getting too wet. Free water and tea packs were provided in the room, but I should have brought them because I didn't have coffee. Amenity goods were prepared at the front desk and bath salts were also available. It's often difficult because one side is a wall in a double bed room and there is no gap, so if you sleep there, you have to get off after getting to your feet.

Room #908 Semi-Double for 2. Visible tiredness after accomodating guests. 2 rail lights not providing adequate lighting for middle aged eyes at night. Mouldy grout in the bath room floor but at corners. Drying string not working. Train can disturb sleep but ear plugs are available on request. Will recommend still but not at weekend rate TBH.

Very suitable for a solo traveler. It is 3-5 minutes away from the Shinkansen station and is also close to Sunpu Castle. By the way, the breakfast in this restaurant is delicious and the price-performance ratio is super high. After eating, I feel very happy.

Mt. Fuji seen from the lobby and restaurant is a beauty that is not ashamed of the concept of ”Scenic Museum”. There is an observation deck on the side of the upper lounge, and the scenery seen from there is even more wonderful. However, as others have posted, it may not be seen in the condition of steam even if it is sunny. The garden is large and you can hear the birds singing in color 々. The service is also substantial, such as taking pictures casually. There is also a transfer to and from Kunoyama Ropeway. When you line up in a restaurant, you take the order with the touch panel instead of writing it with a ballpoint pen, but it is difficult to understand the location and the order cannot be taken properly. First of all, the location is wonderful. Miho no Matsubara is just a five-minute walk away. Mount Fuji is beautiful across the coast. The approach to Miho Shrine, which takes five minutes each way, is lined with pine trees and known as the ”Path of the Gods.” The hotel is not particularly ”luxurious,” but it has a tranquil atmosphere. The furnishings and rooms are traditional and tasteful. There seem to be many foreign staff, but I'm pleased to see that they pay even more attention to detail than Japanese staff. Meals are served in a separate venue. We enjoyed plenty of delicious seafood. Modern hotels and luxury inns are nice, but Japanese-style hotels with a traditional feel like this one should be preserved.

We stayed overnight on the way back from our trip from the Chita Peninsula. I could only see Mt. Fuji a little in the morning, but I enjoyed the hot springs in my room and the hot springs in the large communal bath. The teppanyaki dinner was delicious and I enjoyed talking with the chef. I would like to visit again if I have another chance. Thank you very much.

Very interesting archetecture, great view of Mt. Fuji and a good price were why we choose this hotel. We arrived around 6 PM and were told we couldn't use the restaurant because we didn't have a reservation. We had to drive back to interstate about 15 minutes to find something, there is nothing at all in the hotel vicinity or even a little snack shop on site! Buses very limited. The front of the hotel was nicely painted and landscaped, but the back with patio was pretty shabby. But it did have seating outside for great fresh air. Parking was free but coming back after dinner the covered parking was all full and we had to park lower level in the rain. The room had a strange layout, a 3-mat room for a passageway (luggage drop?) and a small bedroom that one person could get out of bed on one side, but the other person had to crawl over the middle of the bed in the night to get out. In the closet were 2 hard hats?? In case Fujisan starts spewing ash? I think maybe this room was the staff's emergency room when forced to stay. The public bath was disappointingly small, so got crowded quickly. And the view? Of course it rained so no view of Mt. Fuji at all. Not in the hotel's control, but left us disenchanted... 4-star hotel. I don't think so.

The location is not good if you don't have a car. I had heavy bags and it took me about 40 minutes to reach the hotel. I took a taxi back to the station after check out which cost 1200 yen. It is in a bit of an isolated area. Closest convenience store was about 10-15 mins on foot. The hotel itself is nice, clean and new. Rooms a bit small but I had a spectacular view of Fuji from my window. The bed was new and very comfortable. Remember to take a taxi from the station if you have a lot of luggage.

I have been taken care of several times at Gotenba Kogen Hotel in Tokinosu. This time, the twin room on the ４ floor, the day before check-in, Mt. Fuji was in the clouds, but the next day was clear and the snowy Mｔ Fuji appeared in front of me and was impressed. Until now, I often stayed in a plan with two meals, and dinner was at a reasonable price for the sushi kaiseki course on the hotel ８ floor, but this time I was at a local beer restaurant (grand table) in another building I made it. There were many kinds of beer and various dishes, and the feeling of opening in the store was comfortable. There were many guests for day bathing and dinner without staying, and the store was quite busy, but the ceiling of the restaurant was high and wide, so I didn't feel noisy. Breakfast was served at the hotel ８ restaurant on the floor. The number of Japanese and Western items was sufficient, the attendant's response was polite and friendly. I want to use it again.

We stayed at the hotel for the Atami Fireworks. Location is a nice easy walk down the slopes to the shopping streets. Plenty of amenities nearby. Room was clean and the space was well thought out. Staff is helpful. The carpark attendant that day wasn't the most friendly but that didn't spoil the stay. We were recommended not to drive to the pier for the fireworks because of traffic jam, which turns out to be true as cars were waiting just get out of carparks. However, it's a steep walk back after the fireworks as we followed google maps for the shortest route back but it surprised us with stairs. Could be an easier walk if we had retrace our steps although the distance would be longer.

I wish I could give it 5 stars! Let's start with the bad - the hotel thought of just about everything except effective soundproofing. It was unpleasant to hear the traffic at all times when in the room even with the balcony closed, but you could find a way to accept it. What really killed it was 2 evenings in a row hearing a kid running above you for .5-1 hr at a time and being woken up in the middle of the night twice because someone decided to enjoy their onsen on their balcony and was talking and laughing loudly. We stayed for 5 nights and the weekend was the worst as the hotel had a higher occupancy rate. Without that...there is no good, there is only great: - Check-in is private, seated in the lobby with welcoming refreshments - Private onsen on your balcony (in addition to the large one for all guests) - amazing! - Room accommodations very well appointed with numerous amenities and very spacious - Parking available on your room level very convenient (not all, but some... we stayed on 4th floor so even exit from garage was available on our floor) - Restaurants - we had breakfast which had great options and service, we also enjoyed a room service for dinner which offered ability to order from multiple of restaurants. We didn't have dinner in the restaurants as we didn't find the menus appealing for all in our party. - Location is great, short walk to most things you'd want to do in Atami, across the street from a beach (not a great one, but people use it) and relatively easy to get out by car (especially if you ignore GPS directions that guide to tiny streets)

Amazing experience! We got picked up at Atami Station in a free shuttle. The Hotel is located on a cliff, with stunning views of both the ocean and the city. The Hotel has a very interesting design, it looks kind of old fashioned but in a grand, fun way. We stayed in a Japanese style room, was fine. The 3 separate onsen baths were amazing. Great views, Sauna was good too. Food was a buffet, but it was freshly made and high quality. We were very happy with the hotel and would definitely recommend it

This hotel is located right in front of Sun Beach. Therefore, we had very good views of the Atami Fireworks which was fired from the sea. We had great view of the sunrise too. The room we occupied was spacious and clean. The buffet dinner was very sumptuous, with free flow of crabs and various seafood. We got to make our own pizza too. The buffet breakfast was good too. The staff members were professional and friendly. There are also bus stops right in front of the hotel, so it's convenient to travel using the frequent local bus to the surrounding areas and Atami Station.

Certainly, Atami New Fujiya Hotel has seen better days. As you can figure from the equipment for the entertainment hall (which is now used as a buffet room) as well as the room doors (which require physical keys), this hotel has aged tremendously. I actually enjoyed both dinner and breakfast buffet. Dinner buffet included all-you-can-drink drink bar with draft beer, local sake, and a wide variety of soft drinks. The hotel divided the customers into a few time slots. Though I was one of the first people to enter the buffet room, I soon realized that I did not need to rush to get in. While the room became crowded at a time, the staff were quite efficient in replenishing food and cleaning up the used dishes and cups. I was able to try 2 out of 3 onsens (11th floor and annex 3rd floor). The corridor to the annex needs to be evened out. I was afraid that some people would fall on the way to the bath facility or buffet. The location, to me, was great. It was within 15 minutes from the beach, and the path to the beach had a lot of shops. I liked that the hotel provided several yukata’s (size and color) to choose from to meet the customers’ needs. My group had small to large people, and everyone found his/her favorite.

9月にバスツアーで宴会場を利用した時に泊まりたいと思い、誕生日に一泊しました。早めに施設に着き、併設の温泉施設で遊び、チェックイン。フロントスタッフが宿泊名簿を見て当日が誕生日と知り、フリードリンク券をプレゼントしてくれました。部屋はひとりのため山側でしたが、広くて清潔で快適。大浴場も熱海の海が見ながらゆっくり、アメニティも充実。夕食のレストランも美味しく新鮮な海の幸がたくさん。追加で注文した牛タンシチューもフォアグラも絶品。朝食の鯵の開きも肉厚でジューシー。お土産も魅力的な商品がたくさん。また「泊まりたい」と思わせるホテルでした。

There is a terrace of 6 tatami mats in the room (there is also a table & chair) I took a walk around Atami Station and bought sea and sake on the terrace slowly! The fireworks were also able to be appreciated by great power from the terrace (^-^) The room was clean, and the joint toilet, the bathroom bath, and the living room were very clean, and I think the cleaning is also going. Hot springs were also good hot water! There are only three washing places, but the stone tub is large. However, there are only ... large baths １, so it is because men and women change in time. If you want to enjoy hot spring baths, It may be a little lacking. But there is a shower room available 24 o'clock on the different floor, so you can take a bath outside the time (however, it is not hot spring water) In the living room, instant coffee, tea, water, hot water, ice and tea ware were also free, so I made it here and drank in the room or drank while watching the scenery on the terrace of the living room. The owner and the staff were friendly and kind. It is an inn that I want to stay again (^^)

It is recommended to take a taxi, but it is not far from the beach and shopping street, but the entire Atami is on a slope. If you know how to use it, checking in without anyone is actually quite convenient.
