JJoe RossiterBooked this hotel as it was situated just off the main dual carriageway and had good road links to Cesena and Forli for trains and good links back to Florence and Pisa for the airport. The hotel is located in the heart of the town and the entrance isn’t visible from the road. It has its own carpark for €6 per night but there are lots of parking spaces around the town, white lined spaces are Free!! Blue lined space you have to pay for, so check the lines! Check in was easy and the staff were friendly and informative. The room was spacious and clean, there were two plugs one either side of the bed so being an adapter and extension cable for extra plug space, little mini bar that was reasonably priced and cupboard space with a little safe in. The swimming pool was warm and the roof opens in the summer. The attendant was knowledgeable and excited to explain that the pool is warmed by the natural springs and that smell of sulphur was from these springs and good for the skin. Pool was long enough to swim in and had bubble jets and falling water. There is also a bigger thermal spa available but we didn’t have time to make use of that. Breakfast was a good selection of cold meats and cheeses, pastries and cakes etc, no hot option though. The only negative for breakfast was, staff served all the food, this was challenging with the language barrier and meant you had to ask for anything you wanted…. Town was lovely, lots of little shops and a few restaurants and bars. Towns folk were friendly and helpful and the little market was nice for local products. Lots of walking and cycling routes in the area too

MMark RipleyHotel Il Guercino is a very stylish hotel arranged around a beautiful courtyard in a quiet part of the city. My room was modern, clean and comfortable, making it an excellent choice for my one-night stop in Bologna. The location is particularly convenient for the railway station, which is only a short walk away. Piazza Maggiore and the main historic sights are somewhat farther, but once you cross the station, much of the walk into the centre is beneath Bologna’s famous porticoes, which provide welcome shade and help keep the journey comfortable during the summer heat. Overall, this was a pleasant, attractive and well-located hotel, particularly suitable for a short stay or for anyone travelling through Italy by train.

FfanWe are business travelers and our clients stay this hotel many times . It a standard 4 stars hotel , clean , staff and environment are good . Unfortunately this time had a bad experience on it . Never happened in this 4 star hotel . The staff given the room key and well check-in for our clients at Italy time 9:00pm , Once they entranced into the room . The room was occupied. We immediately run to the front desk , the stafff use 1 hour to handle the case and said not available the triple room . We didn’t said we must the triple room , we are 2 persons At least settled down for us at night time . She use 1 hour slowly motion to handle the case . And said we have 2 single room for us but need extra EURO20/per room means extra total EUR 40 more . At that moment we only accepted because at night 10pm . We never see this non professional skill on any star hotel . We are happy on their management. They want to understand what happened on their staff . Management will to listen and known what are the mistakes on their staff . Thank you for their management officers.

LLolloGramSeafront structure basic room good mattress with a nice topper very clean room and I must say also the breakfast is not bad. Small flaw the silence of the rooms, they are not soundproofed and a group of kids came back at 3:30 making a lot of noise in the corridor and once in the rooms you could hear their talking.

The cleaning is very clean. The room is quite clean. But there is no expectation. There is no sense of design. The local consumption of Modena is much lower than that of Florence. But the most The price of this room in Jiaxi and the Indgo with a balcony in Florence is almost equivalent. The bedding is also very general. There is also a highlight that there is a Chinese restaurant called Wang diagonally opposite the hotel. It is not expensive. It is worth it for two nights.

GGuest UserGreat hotel with all the amenities. Excellent staff who were very welcoming and helpful. There is plenty of free parking at the hotel and there are a couple of electric chargers as well if somebody is coming on an electric car. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. The hotel is very close to Ferrari's museum in Maranello and is also a short drive into Modena. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be staying here once again when I am back in Maranello.
