A very mixed bag! On the one hand everything is new and clean and the location is absolutely amazing. Staff are welcoming and friendly. That’s the good bits.
The bad part is nothing was really explained to me about the facilities there- for example the wristbands and how they’re used to purchase things. They’re loaded with “credit” which I mistakenly thought was credit to purchase tea and coffee but you do have to pay for them. The machine didn’t work and I was charged for about five drinks I never had but I was in a rush checking out so had to leave it. I also wasn’t told about how to get to the hot tub on the roof so sadly I never got to use that.
The bedding was stained when I got there, weirdly the staff member told me they weren’t “allowed” to change the sheets so I was given some clean sheets and had to battle changing the bed in a tiny space- not ideal. The one hairdryer in the bathrooms also didn’t work fully so that’s why the services rating is low.
While not in the absolute city center, the hotel's facilities, breakfast, and service are all excellent. Getting around is easy: there are several bus routes directly across the street that go downtown. For airport transfers, the Flybus service connects to a shuttle that drops you off right at the hotel. Good day tours and island excursions also provide convenient pick-up and drop-off from the lobby. A majority of the guests are American, and the restaurant primarily offers Western dishes.
First hotel we stayed at Reykjavík. Location is great and breakfast spread was awesome. We like the room as it was big and spacious for 3 people but layout was kind of strange as the toilet and shower area was separate. 😏
Apart from that all the rest is great.
The location of the hotel is great, right in the city centre. The bed in the room was large 1.3m wide unlike other hotels which are only a metre wide. The service at the front desk was also quite good. The only drawback is that the spa centre closes too early, at 19:30, unlike other hotels that open late.
We chose to stay here on the first and last nights, mainly because parking was convenient and free, the room was quite new, and the breakfast was average. But the room was soundproofed and satisfactory.
The hotel is very cosy and the staff are very attentive to our needs. The breakfast spread is plentiful and delicious too. We have stayed there for honeymoon and they gave us complimentary access to hot spring and spa which is wonderful. The hotel is also central located.
Greatly recommended
The best hotel in Lei City, with a good location, next to the sea view, ten minutes walk from the shopping festival, and next to the concert hall. The room is not big, Nordic style, very tidy and clean, with good sound insulation. Parking is at the door of the hotel, and there will be staff to help you park. The parking fee is very expensive, 400 RMB a day.
In the city center, the famous lake, it will take about 10 minutes to walk to the concert hall. Lived on the third floor spire. The room is big in Iceland. There is a small balcony. The Italian restaurant downstairs is quite delicious.

CChristiaan WillemI had booked a solo room. This is fine. It is small but you know that in advance. Friendly staff. Nice bar on floor 8. Walk straight into the center.

ZZhangmeiling 719The environment is great, and it's not too far from the bus terminal, right near Pearl Tower. I even saw the Northern Lights from my bed at night!

GGuest UserThis Hilton is very historic in terms of furnishings and details. It is not particularly large, but it is clean and safe. You need to swipe your card to go to the elevator in your room. The front desk staff is very patient and answers all questions in detail. Next door is the famous lamb sandwich shop. The hotel's gym is small and beautiful, and very clean; there is also a bathing area, which is also historic. Overall, it is highly recommended.
