Don't know where to start. I have a few days left to stay at this hotel, but can't resist to review this hotel asap, cause i've been stay here for a couple days. My question, is it really 5 stars hotel? Like, really??! The good things are, the staff at lobby so humble (not the receptionist one), i mean the bell boy (who always wearing the green suit) and the guy on white shirt who always opened the door everytime we walk-in to. They're so humble, always say hi and put smile on their face. The receptionist, you need to learn from them, to smile and be nice when you talk to guest. The room, this hotel has a comfy bed, appreciate that, and room service has a good hospitality, everytime i call them to ask something, they can give me those things really quick. So lets start for the worst thing about this hotel. FIRST, the frontman at the breakfast resto and their resto's staff. The frontman name is Sinta, the woman who wears the green dress, she's so unrespectful, not humble, even when i'm waiting the staff cleaned up the table i want to sat to, then this woman came to my table then drag the staff to other place, man! he's cleaning my table, like why you drag him off?! Like what?! you need to learn etiquette girl, then there's guy who's so rude, he talk to guest in a bad way and like yelling, i don't remember his name. The only good staff at the resto is Yusuf and a girl who wears white shirt and green apron on her waist, they're both humble and always smiling. They both have good attitude. I don't like their food, i ate cereal and watermelon only, others really doesn't have a taste. really bad quality for 5stars hotel resto. and still have a couple days to eat the same thing, poor me. Then, one more, there's a door in corridor yang bertuliskan ”staff only”, mereka selalu membiarkan pintu tersebut terbuka dengan banyak sampah di dalamnya, dan staff staff yang masuk dan keluar dari ruangan itu sangat berisik sekali, EVERYDAY, they laughing so hard, even they're singing! I mean, you need to keep quiet untuk menjaga kenyaman tamu, namun mereka menutup pintu dengan sangat berisik dan berbicara sesuka hati mereka, even at midnight seperti itu juga. And we're in pandemic situation, this hotel doesn't has great ”protokol kesehatan”, mereka membiarkan orang berkeliaran without masker, and tidak ada yang menegur tamu tamu yang seperti itu. And one thing yang cukup mengganggu, ketika kamu parkir di gedung, ketika ke lobby harus melewati koridor bebas merokok, dan to be honest ini sangat mengganggu, jika ingin ada tempat untuk merokok buatlah ruangan khusus utk merokok! The only reason why i chose this hotel, because this is the 5 stars hotel, but i don't think i'll comeback to this hotel in the future. There a lot things to upgrade. Ahh and untuk sekelas hotel bintang 5 dengan ruangan gym semini itu, it's not good. Just trying to be honest here.

Booked from Trip is cheaper than booking directly from hotel. We got problems initially but the management solved it quickly. Staff are friendly, particularly Mr Febri and few staff from the housekeeping. Room was clean. Amenities are standard. There is no hairdryer, you need to request it. It’s previously named Grand Zuri. However, it’s still well maintained. Even though some moulds are seen in the bathroom. Breakfast is standard, nothing fancy. Perhaps eat local foods are cheaper and nicer. Bought hot Americano and Cappuccino, they were good!!

1..Waiting check in for non smoking rooms for more than two hours..., asking too wait, several times ask wait, and then they change shift and no one to follow up, when i asking for fourth time with different staff, they said they need deposits, meanwhile i sit in front of the receptionist for more than two Hours!! 2. dirty area of swimming pool no staff taking care of it at first time i check it around 14.00 than in 16.45 i check it, i see people smoke around swimming pool area, smoke smell around corridor to swimming pool 3.,no free mineral water, in current covid situation you have to go to corridor and using public dispenser, are you sure the glass or bottle cup attached previously to the dispenser was clean enough? 4. Ugly view, booked 3 room different floor and different side with all ugly view. 5. Front office not responsive when we first arrive just look on our car, and then i giving a code to asking help and the staff starting to move to help. I already checked in to 3 different hotels within one week in palembang area somehow Aston is the worst, aryaduta, all nite and day, and the last is Aston, luckily we only stay just for one night this time.

W stayed at family suite for 2 days (4 of us). Very impressed and enjoyed our stay very much. Staff are very helpful, room was spacious with all necessary amenities (shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpastes, slipper,and many more). The breakfast was super yummy with many variety of food (inc pizza, pempek and may more). I think the breakfast is above standard for 3 stars hotel. We ordered dimsum from the restaurant and they delivered to our room and ended up order more as they were yummy. There are so many restaurant nearby so I wish I stayed longer. Will definitely come back to this hotel. This is 3 star hotel but we feel like staying in 5 stars hotel. We were so pampered. Also, the hotel even sell pempek dan kemplang that you can bring back for ole without looking anywhere else. Highly recommend!!!

good room, excellent service. since it was a soft opening, restaurant, breakfast, coffee shop are not available that time. but still gives the a good service to us. with a ”clean environment concept”, the hotel doesn't give any complimentary water in a plastic bottle. instead they provide water dispenser by several of rooms. Water availability for shower etc. should be separated, independent from the mall facility. Good experience though.

I came for usual business in Palembang for one day only, it ended to 4 nights… kind of short holiday. Another fabulous stay at Wyndham Opi. The kindness of the staff is always as expected and this include all of them. The words “taking care of the client” is what I can say. Keep going guys! I’m sure Pak Jumin will mention it by the next staff meeting. By the way thanks to you too for the time at the lotus. Room perfect, Iyan - room service - remembered how I like to have the room clean and my bed done. Thanks to him, could not see him on my departure day. Overall, Wyndham Opi hotel is definitely a do not miss to go there. Go ahead, and stay overnight, you will be not disappointed.
