Hotels With spa in East Java, Indonesia

The location was perfect for us, as we really enjoy exploring a new city on foot. There are many eateries within walking distance of the hotel, including the famous Tunjungan No. 39 restaurant, as well as major shopping malls like Tunjungan Plaza. The service provided by the staff was also excellent, from the front desk to the cleaning crew and even the security guard. We will definitely come back again.

The ambient is good. Service is attentive. Breakfast variety is quite a lot, around 3 main course, 5-6 type of drink, 2-3 food, salads, pastries and cakes. The amenities toilet is as usual. No hair dryer (need to manually request). Bed is the best with view. Water flow toilet is quite slow.

Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast variety is good. Getting to the room is confusing at the start (lift at hidden area, need to go up, walk across the bridge and take another lift to go up again), LG and level 3 is the same. 2 restaurants on site where the food is quite good. Not walkable to anywhere, quite convenient using grab each time though.

Our stay at Ciputra was wonderful. Fantastic location adjoining the Ciputra mall with many great restaurants nearby. Thank you to all of the fine professional staff that accompanied the very well appointed room and hotel facilities. The room was beautifully furnished, lovely comfortable bed, large bathroom along with a bathtub with great view. Room was quiet with pleasant views over Surabaya. Executive lounge/bar on 8th floor is a quite area with well appointed bar. The cool pool and jacuzzi on 22nd floor was special with a 270 degree vista over Surabaya city, extra gorgeous during sunset. Restaurant for breakfast had a delicious array of both western and Indonesian dishes in a colorful and fresh ambience. Special thanks to Alicia at reception whom communicated well and passed on the delicious gift for sevice recovery of our lift mishap. Just a slight improvement would be to improve the lighting in the car parking area as very dim and dreary at night.

Room was comfy, clean, and smelled nice when I walked in. Big smart TV, Amenities were all there, nothing missing. There’s a bathtub which you can use to relax while watching tv, and the view from the room was spectacular. Bed was big and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, everything went smoothly. Would definitely stay here again.

I'm quite satisfied with the hotel facilities. The location is convenient, making it my go-to choice when I'm on a business trip visiting clients. I've stayed here multiple times; it's a convenient option for business travelers. Everything else is also pretty good.

Not really satisfied, service could be better. Reached at 4pm (indoesia time) to check in, was asked to wait as the room is not ready. Waited for 10mins which is okay. Card only given 1 - not convenient when we arranged inhouse massage as one of us need to stay in the room with the massuer while my husband went down to pick up another masseur and the room went off pitch black. Breakfast - eggs ran out by 9am, and was told that there will be no more eggs Checkout day, called reception around 10am - request for additional mineral bottle for drinking but was told that we are checking out today and we would need to purchase the bottle. Checkout - was running 5 minutes late, reception already called asking to check out now. Bed and pillows are okay and comfortable to sleep. There’s international plug so you can use if you’re using 3 pin plug. Location is perfect, just across the Tunjungan Plaza but nothing nice to shop. Just boring. Service could be better, but definitely not returning for us.

The room is spacious and location is extremely good for the price. Point to improve: the kitchen to work much more to improve their quality. Chicken fried was not cook properly, still bloody, we need to ask staff to recook it. Bakso noodle is below average, u can find better on street food. The staffs are nice, nothing to complain about it but food quality is not worth the price at all.

This is a good hotel. We stayed from December 13th to 14th, 2025. However, we had a problem with the bathroom drainage not working properly, causing water to overflow onto the room floor. When we complained, the response was poor, and we had to wait a long time to switch rooms. Even the hotel staff who promised to help move our belongings didn't assist wholeheartedly.

Location is second to none, near to Tunjungan Plaza. Service is amazing, I loved the short hair lady with glasses at the recep. She is so warm and friendly. Indigo's staff is also lovely and attentive. Room is really nice. Big bathroom, hot showers. Good quality toilet paper (always a sign if the management cares). You can relax and trust everything works. Pool is big and the water is warm. But the immediate sides of the pool is a bit dirty. The chef here is superb. Their soto soups are out of this world. And almost everything on the breakfast buffet is so good. Except the coffee. That's pretty weak and not showing off true Indonesian coffee. The cocktails here are so good too, great taste and strong as well. Although I didn't like the one with creme de menthe. Heritage tour at 2pm and 4pm. Try to go. It's cool. .
