Fast check in and I would really recommend staying here. There is a good variety of food for morning breakfast. Walkable to the old town! My room has a partial sea view.
The pros: I arrived 2 hours earlier and was thankful that concierge checked me in immediately. The view from my room was wonderful and the breakfast variety was fine though the same menu was served daily throughout my 4 night stay. The vicinity of Lapad is not near to the old town, but I specifically selected the area/hotel to be away from crowds and large tour groups, so I’m happy with it. The area is beautiful, with plenty of rock coves for walks and exploration.
The cons: Mirror to the cupboard was cracked and plastered over with aluminium tape, design of the room is definitely dated, carpets are a little stained though these are not important to me.
As a solo female Asian traveller, I do observe that older staff, male especially, communicate with some sense of superiority towards me, in comparison to western guests. In other words, I do not feel welcome. That applies to Dubrovnik in general, while in Zagreb, service staff are much friendlier.
The hotel is not in the city, the hotel is quite big, breakfast and dinner are good. It is very close to the beach, you can walk around the town next to it, the sunset is very beautiful, and the price-performance ratio is good.
The hotel is located in the resort area of the new city, and the scenery is very good! We guys stayed in the garden view room! It's on the first floor, lower than the road. It's okay for a few guys to stay, but if you are a couple, don't stay. Choose a sea view room! The scenery is too different! There is a bus to the old town 5 minutes away from the door! The drive takes about 20 minutes! It's very convenient! The breakfast is first-class! The lobby is simple! The room is clean and comfortable! There are several swimming pools!
Cavtat only 10/15 mins from the the airport and the hotel well located within the resort itself. Upon arrival we were assigned a ”Park View” room...essentially the balcony was up against a cliff face with no sun. Got upgraded to a sea view room for an extra €50 per night...great value as the morning coffees overlooking the sea and the glorious sunsets became a highlight of the holiday...good restaurants nearby. Would defo return to the hotel / area.
This is a really nice budget hotel, located in Lapad, away from the hustle & bustle of the old town, and close to the beach. We had a large room with an extremely comfortable bed/pillows, and a terrace/balcony. I thought it was a great idea to have clothes drying racks on the balconies, perfect for your beach towels & swimsuits. We had the breakfast, and it was pretty much the same every day. But even for us vegans, we could get something nice to eat. And for people with no dietary restrictions, there is even more choice. Our shower was faulty, which we reported to staff on our first morning. As it was the weekend, they advised that it probably wouldn't be fixed immediately, but by Tuesday we had a brand new shower head (the shower was usable, just faulty - we didn't have to exist without a shower!) The staff were lovely, friendly, helpful, and gave good tips about the beaches and surrounding area.
There is a bus stop directly across the street from the hotel, where you can catch Bus 6 to the old town. The buses are small and very busy (September) and the cost is 2.50 euro one way. We did also buy tickets in advance from the kiosk in the town, where they are a little cheaper (1.70). And I must admit, we walked to the old town on several occasions. 30 minute walk, but with beautiful views. The beaches close by are lovely. There is a great walking path along the coast, and at some spots you can walk down stone steps to small seating areas, where you can also jump into the ocean and swim. We did this instead of going to the pebble beaches and hiring sun loungers.
Overall, this was a really nice hotel, perfect for what we wanted. It is not high end, glam or luxurious, but it is comfortable, clean and friendly.
The hotel is close to the sea but far from the old city. You can take the non-stop No. 6 bus to the terminal. The environment is beautiful. The buffet price is acceptable, but the seafood is not enough. It is a good place for sunbath and relaxation.
Super Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Shower is one of the best with good water pressure for all of the hotels that we have stayed in Europe. Great and friendly services. If you are busy visiting the city, there is not much value to book the Rooms with sea view and balcony. Parking is extra at 12 Euro per day.
The desk staff are friendly, but the service items are too poor to be considered a 4-star hotel.
This was my first time in a hotel without welcome water.
There was bottled water in the minibar for a fee.
We were very happy with our stay, the staff were helpful and accommodating and the facilities were excellent. We were a bit worried about the hotel being away from everything, but the bus that departed from out the front every 20 minutes to the old town made getting around Dubrovnik very easy.

GGuest UserAbsolutely a wonderful hotel all around. The buffet breakfast was extraordinary with so much to offer. What is exceptional about this property that I learned once we got there was how they have an Asian spa version of rooms in their spa. They have a salt room, steam room, igloo room, a turkish bath, indoor pool, warm pool, cold pool, rainforest shower ... we went to the pool and in the sea off the cliffs everyday and it was just wonderful. At night they had live entertainment. One of the best hotels in the wrold!
PPangzhixiaobaoExcellent: The breakfast is very good, and the pool view is very good. The service of this hotel is really 5-star, and all the staff will take the initiative to greet. The male receptionist is very good, and he will explain clearly what you ask, and take the initiative to show you the way. Oh, and email inquiries, the reply is very fast, the information is accurate and efficient. It is very convenient to take a taxi. The first three transactions using the local taxi app are half off, and it only takes 3.41 euros to the old town pile gate.
Disadvantages: Everything else is very satisfactory, but the room is too small. The same 25 square meters, this one can't open two boxes. Later I realized that it might be because the balcony took up an area. You can see the sea, but it is on the side. The shower room is not designed reasonably, the water from the overhead shower head trickles, and the movable faucet is too low, so you have to hold it by hand. The shower room door is half open, so you have to be very careful when taking a shower. The supermarket is a 10-minute walk, and you have to walk through the woods and parks with no lights at night. It is actually very safe, but it is a bit scary to walk alone.
AAnonymous UserHotel is pretty clean, the room is large with a balcony. Hotel includes sauna, salt sauna, hammam, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a pretty good gym, PlayStation and computer play area. Breakfast is very good. Fruits selected are very tasty. Hotel is about 20min drive to old town, you can catch a Uber which costs around 20 euro. Distance to airport is 45 min drive cost around 45 euro. Hotel provides shuttle bus services to old town (8 euro per person one way) and taxi services to airport (60 euro). Drivers are very polite. Price is reasonable. Hotel staff are in general very nice. Shortcoming are the lunch/dinner restaurants. Tried almost all restaurants and the only good one is Veranda but the price is the highest. The price of all restaurants is pretty high. Not the hotel
charges high but in general the price of the restaurants in Dubrovnik area is in the high range. There is no soft sand beaches. But the ocean is very clear and we can see different kinds of fishes doing snorkelling.

WWanderlustfoodieGreat location for solo female travellers. 7mins walk to the old town where you can get food and take day trips from. In the afternoon when it gets too hot, you can come back to the hotel for a siesta or chill by the deck chairs. House keeping was great with constant refreshing of the room. Would stay here again.
Only negative is that there’s a live band playing at a nearby beach club from 8pm to around 10.50pm each night. Can’t get any rest until the set ends (even with ear plugs on). I had assumed that the live band was playing at a restaurant within the hotel as the music was so loud but the concierge clarified that it was from a nearby beach club and it’s because it’s summer. To be fair the music was nice but loud.
JJowoThe overall hardware facilities of the hotel are OK, the scenery is beautiful, it is best to choose a sea view room. If you don't need service, you should be able to spend a satisfactory holiday here;
But in fact, this is a 5-star hotel. Generally, partners who choose 5-star hotels mostly choose service experience (that is, ourselves). As a result, this hotel has almost ”0” service; from the entry-level luggage pick-up and drop-off problems, front desk service, and catering services, the whole process requires ”self-sufficiency”
The service is the worst 5-star hotel I have stayed in so far.
In addition, Dubrovnik is expensive among the cities in Croatia, so if you choose this hotel, you can refer to the cost-effectiveness comparison of the old city hotel when traveling.
The parking lot provided by the hotel is charged, 10 euros/day. Partners who drive can park their cars on the roadside next to the hotel (the hotel front desk will suggest this). The overall parking fee in Dubrovnik is relatively high. If you stay here to enter the old city, we choose Uber, which is 5-6 euros one way.
The hotel breakfast varies from person to person. I am personally more satisfied; my husband thinks that compared with the rich products in the area, the breakfast category is still scarce. It is basically a Western breakfast.
The hotel's own gym is pretty good, with a simple sauna room that guests staying here can use for free.
Finally, I wish you all a happy trip to Dubrovnik.
