Crowne Plaza Madrid - Centre Retiro

There are four stages in the journey, and I am now on the third stage. Madrid is the second stage. This hotel is the best one among the three stages so far!! The room is very clean and spacious. There is a safe and a refrigerator. The toilet is separated into wet and dry areas. There is a circle of mirrors in the toilet, which makes it convenient for me and my friend to move separately. While she washes, I can also put on makeup. There are hand soap/shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. Free water every day!! Super considerate. The service is also very nice. There is a restaurant on the 0th floor. Those who push large luggage can enter from the side door of the restaurant. There are only steps at the hotel entrance. There is a bus stop and a subway station next to the hotel, so the transportation is relatively convenient. You can walk to Retiro Park in the morning. You can also pass by two large supermarkets on the way.

The hotel is better than InterContinental, the luggage is delivered to the room, the decoration is high-end, the service staff is enthusiastic, and the hotel is in a good location near Ritz Park. It is highly recommended.

recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Palacio de los Duques in Madrid, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I entered the magnificent palace-like building, I was captivated by the grandeur and elegance that surrounded me. The hotel's location in the heart of Madrid's historic center is perfect for exploring the city's attractions. Many iconic landmarks, such as the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor, are within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing enthusiasts like me. The staff at Palacio de los Duques Madrid truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service provided by the concierge, every interaction was marked by genuine hospitality and professionalism. The room I stayed in was beautifully appointed and exuded a sense of luxury. The elegant decor, comfortable furnishings, and modern amenities created a perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail was impeccable, and I appreciated the little touches that enhanced my stay, such as the plush bathrobes and high-quality toiletries. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's stunning rooftop terrace. Offering panoramic views of Madrid's skyline, it provided a breathtaking backdrop for enjoying a drink or simply unwinding while taking in the city's beauty. The on-site restaurant also surpassed my expectations with its delectable cuisine, showcasing a fusion of traditional and contemporary flavors. Hotel Palacio de los Duques Madrid seamlessly blends historical charm with modern luxury. The preservation of the building's architectural heritage, combined with the impeccable service and attention to detail, creates an unforgettable experience. I had a fantastic time at Hard Rock Hotel Madrid! The room was spacious, stylish, and super comfortable, with a great shower and a music-themed design. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. The hotel’s location is perfect. It is close to popular attractions and the metro station nearby makes getting around easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was fun and relaxing. I’d definitely stay here again!

We booked the hotel for transit. The location is a bit far from the airport but the room itself is fine.
Hotel Mirador de Chamartín

2 nights there. Very nice checking, eye-contact, body language, speech, correct approaching and fast. I felt welcome. The hotel: I loved the kind like dark-atmosphere, it's not a sun-like bright hotel, it's elegant and classic. Don't expect cheap Chinese LEDs ON every corner. Furniture and colors are very inviting to a relaxed state of mind. The room was big enough, classical furniture, 2 comfy armchairs, heavy and blocking light curtains do the job. Bed, quite comfy and big. Wrong pillows. I would have enjoyed more if a 3rd (extra) bed wasn't there. Is the idea to make me feel more lonely? :-) Reception made a cock-up. I'm single traveler, I booked for 2. I didn't bother to ask to remove Soundproofing: once you step out of the lift: no echo on large aisle. Carpets floors all over, solid furniture plus all the surrounding trees makes the trick. Once inside the room: you hear next door people having a conversation, doors opening. Seriously! It really sucks! I went ill, upset stomach and I didn't felt relaxed to use the closed as much as needed. On the other hand: the adults games? How to manage it? Mute on? Parking is super. It's approved even for those with only 2 remaining points on theirs driving license. :-) I would come back as a single traveler. My greetings to the cleaning staff. Good job. Thank you.
60 Balconies Art

There are three 60 Balconies properties all within a short distance of each other in Madrid. This one is 60 Balconies- Art. When researching (and arriving..!) make sure you have the right one. This one is really well located - just across from the main train station, and a short distance to many of the major art galleries and cultural institutions. It is a short walk to both the botanical and El Retiro gardens. We had a two bathroom/two bedroom apartment. (One bathroom is an ensuite off the main bedroom). The apartment had a well appointed kitchen - although no guide to work that we think was an oven (?) and a machine that looked like a coffee maker. The crockery had seen better days, however for the short times we were actually in the apartment and not outdoors enjoying everything Madrid had to offer; it wasn't really an issue. The lounge is spacious - but like most places we stayed on this trip why is there only one two seater couch in an apartment that caters for four...? The location is a standout - just ignore the fast food chains and garishly lit cafes around the outside of the building. Its just a short walk or a quick taxi ride to all you need. Oh and there is a metro stop right outside the door...
Pullman Madrid Airport & Feria

We travelled to Madrid to attend a Music concert at IFEMA. The Pullman hotel is an 8 minute taxi drive from the airport and 5 mins by tube which brings one within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is 5 mins walk from IFEMA thus all in all an incredibly suitable for hotel to attend any events at IFEMA. There are also several restaurants within 10-20 mins of the hotel if you don't want to go into city centre for a meal. I have read comments that the Pullman hotel is outdated, possibly yes if this was indeed a 5 * hotel, but honestly, since we did not pay anywhere near 5* hotel prices for our room (and i don't think any of the rooms are priced at 5* level) we didn't expect a swish hotel. However what we did get for our money was a hotel with a attractive upmarket like entrance, a comfortable room, which was clean and serviced daily. The air conditioner was a tad bit on the noisy side, but not such that we could not sleep at night. On the down side, just two things, there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, and the restaurant was closed on the one evening that we were there. Otherwise we would definitely stay again in we were looking for a hotel close to the IFEMA.

Opposite atocha train station but can take sometime to cross over because it’s located along major crossroads . Terrace faces retiro park but not much can be seen. Terrace room seems all located on 7th floor (highest is 8). The room is quite dusty (on the floor) though it looks clean on the whole. Amenities requested through a scan of QR code. Requested for a few items (as there are none not even a kettle!) and received a call that they already have slippers and dental kit in the room but will send anyway. But there was no slippers and dental kit in the room that’s why I request. Anyway, out of the things which I requested, they only sent over the above 2 and kettle. Some other items they did not sent to me even though I requested such as tea bag and amenity kit.
