The selection of B&Bs in Pingyao Ancient City is truly overwhelming. After repeated rounds of searching, I finally settled on Xingshengjiu. The experience exceeded my expectations, and I truly made the right choice. 📍Location: Convenient, tranquil amidst the bustle. Located in a quiet alley in the heart of the ancient city, it's a 10-minute walk from the bustling South Street. 💁♂️Service: Attentive, caring, and proactive 24-hour butler service. 1) Arrival: Immediately contacted via WeChat upon booking. Upon arrival, a sightseeing shuttle was picked up from the Guanbei parking lot outside the city, and the staff warmly greeted me. 2) Tours: Proactive suggestions and maps were provided during outings. Even sightseeing shuttles were arranged for trips outside the city. 3) Every time I encountered the hotel staff, they were enthusiastic and helpful. 4) Check-out: A shuttle was booked to the parking lot, and a small set of aged vinegar was given as a souvenir. 🛏️Rooms: Brand-new facilities, modern comfort 1) A two-story, two-courtyard, two-story courtyard house, designed in the style of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The tatami we booked was spacious and bright. We had a wonderful stay at this charming place located right in the heart of the ancient town. The large, beautiful courtyard provided a beautiful scene and the pick-up and drop-off service was really convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and we were even given a lovely farewell gift. The flexibility of being able to leave a day earlier to visit another city was also thankfully no problem. While the buildings are historic and full of character, it does come with the challenge of less soundproofing in the rooms, which led to some noises like talking at night. However, this is entirely understandable given the age and historic value of the building. Overall, it was a great experience.

Veteran Cadre Style (Taiyuan) It’s my first time staying at Kempinski. It has a strong old-fashioned atmosphere, which young people may find a bit old-fashioned. But the service and hardware facilities are very good, and the cost-effectiveness of staying in the off-season is very high [heart] Location: Close to Changfeng Street subway station, about 100 to 200 meters away, and also close to Binhe Expressway, very convenient for driving and public transportation. Being an older hotel, the facilities are understandably a bit dated. However, its location is absolutely fantastic, very close to the attractions, and the service was excellent. We stayed in a top-floor room with a small balcony, offering stunning views of the ancient city's nightscape and the Daiwangfu drone show right from our window. The hotel restaurant comes highly recommended for its food. We did have to queue, but the wait was quicker than we'd anticipated. While the taste wasn't quite as 'astounding' as some online reviews suggested, it was arguably the best non-local meal I've had in Shanxi these past few days – a truly welcome break from dishes like Guo You Rou.

Yuncheng has launched a 128-year tourist card, and I bought it. Yuncheng is a city worth visiting more often, Jinxin Hotel is a hotel worth staying in, and Feng Fan is a professional and dedicated hotel manager with a sincere smile. She welcomed me when I checked in and sent me off with a smile. She called me to tell me when she found that I had lost my nail clippers. I said it was okay and she kept it for my next stay. The hot spring is particularly good, the swimming pool must be experienced, very clean, the water temperature is comfortable, there is no smell of disinfectant, this is impossible in Chengdu. Breakfast is also very good. The waiter is very dedicated! It feels like a very high-end hotel in Yucheng. We stayed for two days and were very satisfied.

The hotel is in a great location, with Vientiane City nearby. It is also very convenient to drive to Jinci Temple, Botanical Garden and other attractions. Parking is available at the door and there are plenty of parking spaces. You can see the Fen River from the room, and you can also see the night view of the Grand Theater, Library, and Bronze Museum at night. The room was cleaned very well, the breakfast was rich in variety, and the front desk was very efficient. However, no one came to help take the luggage upstairs when checking in, and there was a strong smell of cigarettes when I took the elevator twice.

Great location and they were all super nice. However the room was super hot and there is no AC. When we asked they brought up a portable unit but it wasn’t nearly enough to keep the room comfortable. If it’s winter it could be a great spot but definitely look elsewhere in the late spring and summer.

Parking is possible in front of the hotel. The parking lot security brother is very enthusiastic, actively dispatching parking spaces and helping with luggage. The front desk clerk was very serious and enthusiastic, helping to deliver the luggage to the room and sending the fruit plate. The hotel's breakfast is also great, with many varieties and exquisite layout. The hotel also provides a bowl of noodles late at night. In addition, the hotel is also very close to the old town of Yuci, a ten-minute walk. In short, I lived very comfortably and will stay here next time.
