This hotel is located right next door to Xingleen Bay Hotel; I decided to try it out for a different experience.
The area by the sea is quite undeveloped, but if you walk about 500 meters in the other direction, you'll find dining options.
They offer a free shuttle service to Xiamen North Railway Station, which is a great convenience.
Breakfast: There was a decent variety of choices, and it was quite acceptable.
**Facilities:**
The gym is a bit small, but the outdoor swimming pool is lovely.
The hot spring is right next to the pool and isn't very large. It was my first time soaking in a hot spring that overlooks a road, which felt a bit unusual.
**Cleanliness:**
Clean.
**Ambiance/Environment:**
The lobby is undeniably grand, but it leans towards a somewhat gaudy, nouveau riche aesthetic. It almost feels like an attempt to mimic Macau's decor, but the overall scale and attention to detail don't quite meet the mark. However, the rooms themselves are quite elegant and tastefully decorated.
**Service:**
1. The staff have an excellent service attitude.
2. A minor point: access to the hot spring is limited to a single use.
3. Furthermore, much of the information displayed on public signs about hotel operations and timings is inconsistent with reality. My advice is always to call the front desk for the most accurate operating hours.

Qishang Rongshe·Twelve Hours Travel Notes
🍃First encounter·Peace of mind journey
For my first solo trip in 2025, I chose Qishang Rongshe. Before departure, the hotel had arranged a three-day itinerary for me. The thoughtful details made me, a Taurus, feel at ease.
When I arrived, the sun was shining and the air was fresh, as if I had stepped into another time and space. Butler Qi Chu took me to the trail in the back mountain, picking flowers and plants as materials for rubbings. The breath was full of natural breath, and I bid farewell to the hustle and bustle of the city for a short time and just enjoyed the present.
🏨Architecture·Watching the century-old banyan tree
The building of Qishang Rongshe is an old building from 1920, which has been revitalized and renewed. The hotel's logo is a century-old banyan tree, with intertwined roots and symbiotic dependence with the building, which is also the origin of the hotel logo. There are only 9 guest rooms in the entire space, each of which is equipped with a bathtub and a meditation chair, which is very suitable for a person's healing journey.
The morning light shines into the room through the wooden window lattices, and the air is filled with the warm scent of wood, which makes people unconsciously slow down their breathing and immerse themselves in it.
🍵 Time·Zen Tea
In Qishang Rongshe, time seems to flow very slowly. Practice Baduanjin in the morning, copy scriptures at sunset, and stroll in the mountains when the weather is fine, breathing the smell of the mountains and forests. In addition to the natural experience, the local culture of the hotel is also full of charm.
The hotel's refreshments are provided by Jinlan Bakery on Gulangyu Island, which is purchased daily to ensure freshness. Before leaving, I bought a few boxes as souvenirs to bring this ”Zen” back to daily life.
[Color R] Taste buds·Surprise of shiso flavor
The dual enjoyment of vision and taste is a highlight of Qishang Rongshe.
For breakfast, the butler will deliver the meal to the dining table in the hotel corridor. The moment the curtains are opened, a new day officially begins. For dinner, I chose Haihai Restaurant. Every dish is embellished with shiso, and I even tasted the Fujian specialty lunch fish. At first I thought the price was a bit high, but after eating, I felt that this meal, both in terms of taste and experience, was the most unforgettable meal in my three days in Gulangyu.
[Rainbow R] Accident·Stunning in Light and Shadow
There is a small exhibition space hidden behind the bookstore in the hotel. This exhibition is called ”Fat”.
During the day, I was attracted by the material and tension of the exhibits, but when I visited again at night, I was shocked by the unexpected beauty. The light was projected on the wall through the gaps in the works, and one of the shadows was similar to the whiskers of the banyan tree in front of the hotel. The ingenuity of the artist and curator made me resonate more deeply with this space at this moment.
Conclusion·The journey is not over
The three days in Qishang Rongshe are like a redefinition of time. Here, people and nature, history and the present, interweave a flowing poetry.
On the way back, my body and mind were already relaxed. This journey is not only a journey, but also a healing.
Looking forward to returning next time to continue the unfinished travel time.

Dont judge this hotel by looking it. You need to experience it. Central location. Less than 3 mins walking to a very nice park. BRT bus station at door. It has everything you need: big rooms with tea set and snacks 😊 It has a spacious setting area for refreshments and relaxing on 2nd floor, beside it is a free laundry room next to gym. There is a well known restaurant by local on 3rd and 4th floor. There are spa and yoga , dancing studios on 5th floor. Everyone is so nice. Check in is fast and easy. Breakfast has various to choose from. Local specialties and international food as well. Fresh and delicious. Will definitely book it if I visit again.
After researching online, I decided to stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel, and it definitely didn't disappoint. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was spacious, and the view was fantastic.
After a leisurely breakfast, it was only a 10-minute walk to the Dongdu Ferry Terminal. Plus, having a subway station right downstairs made all my subsequent travels incredibly convenient. Honestly, the hotel's Chinese restaurant was even better than many outside. I thought their Ginger Duck (Jiang Mu Ya) tasted more authentic than what I found elsewhere. The crispy squab and all the fried rice options were also incredibly tasty. To top it off, they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet for just 118 RMB per person, which is fantastic value, especially considering even a simple bowl of noodles in Xiamen can cost 30 RMB.
Moreover, the hotel bed was exceptionally comfortable. As someone who often struggles with sleep, my sleep quality literally doubled. In short, the Pan Pacific Hotel greatly enhanced my overall travel experience. It was absolutely fantastic! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

The room was clean and spacious and very enjoyable to be in for 4 nights. The service in this hotel is commendable and they really go the extra mile.
First of all, there were issues with the first two rooms I was assigned. By the second room, I passed a comment “forget it, I’m lazy to request for a new room again” and the concierge staff with me offered to go down and get me another room. I didn’t get his name but I appreciate it and I got to have a comfortable stay thanks to him.
The other incident involved my Taobao return package which was divided into two parts and only one package reached the seller. I had already left China by then and was severely limited in trying to resolve the issue myself. I emailed the hotel for assistance, and am very grateful to Wilson Ye from Concierge who spent a few days following up with the platform and courier.
Would strongly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again if I ever visit Fuzhou.
Recently I stayed 3 night at the Xiamen airline lakeside, 金雁 hotel during my travel from Boston to Xiamen. I’d like to thank to 吴欣汝(Wu XinYu) who helped me arrange from beginning to end during my stay. She has arranged airport pickup, provided me with clear directions on the places I like to visit, make sure my stay at the hotel is comfortable, daily update of 10-11 PM snacks menu, and airport drop off. With her assistance, I had extremely pleasant stay in Xiamen. This hotel is designed very well; intuitively clear and easier to moving around. The room is super clean and staffs are very polite, attentive and ready to provide assistance if needed.
I will stay again when I visit to Xiamen next time.
Bonus, behind the hotel is a lake and walk paths around the lake.

## Service
The superficial service was acceptable, but when issues arose, they failed to address them from a guest's perspective. There was nothing particularly noteworthy. However, the Chinese restaurant's dinner service was a major letdown; it couldn't keep up, with clear signs of undertraining, likely a result of cost-cutting.
## Cleanliness
Initially, the upgraded room we were assigned had a very strong, pungent toilet odor. However, the room change was handled very promptly.
## Facilities
The bathroom and shower doors were adjusted too tightly, causing them to slam shut with a jarring noise. On our first night, guests upstairs repeatedly slammed their doors for about twenty minutes past 11 PM. The noise was perfectly audible in our room. Fortunately, our child was already asleep; otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to sleep at all. This might also be related to guests' habits, as they likely didn't realize it would disturb others on adjacent floors. Overall, from checking in on the first night until bedtime, our initial positive impression of the hotel was significantly marred.

Kids friendly hotel with great playground for kids and an bit outdated spa area with lots of play areas for kids. Everything feels but outdated but still clean and functional. For the value you get the price is fantastic. Service really great and our kids felt very happy and comfortable. Location is ok, no beach in front of the hotel but everything is in close distance and can be reached on 5-10 min by car.

The newly opened B&B this year is located in Guanjiang Village on the northern line. There is a great possibility of catching up with Blue Tears. Isn’t that exciting? The room is also full of details, the smart toilet has a Q-shaped shape, and the bathtub It’s very Instagrammable. When I checked in at the B&B, I was invited to have an afternoon tea first. The service of the young man and the young lady was very considerate and his attitude was very good. I felt that it was worth it!!! The breakfast at the B&B was both beautiful and delicious. I highly recommend this trip, absolutely. There is also a swimming pool that looks very much like one on vacation in Bali. It’s great for taking photos and can be used for photos!

The hotel is in a great location, only a five-minute walk from Liqiao Ancient Street. After visiting the ancient street, you can easily go back to the hotel to rest without spending too much time and energy on the road.
The new Chinese style is elegant and elegant, and every detail shows the quality. The rooms are warm and comfortable, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly. The facilities are also very complete, and smart equipment is all available to meet various needs. The hotel's service is impeccable, the staff is responsive and helps solve many problems.

GGuest UserThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel.
We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (前台小李). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable.
The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (陈虹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed.
Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (前台小李). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if there’s anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (陈虹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (前台小李) and Chen Hong (西餐厅陈虹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore.
Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!

GGuest UserI rarely leave reviews, but the exceptional service at this hotel absolutely warrants one. As I occasionally travel to Fuzhou for business, I've stayed at most of the 5-star hotels near Fuzhou South Station, and they've all been pretty average. This hotel, however, is new, with great facilities including a laundry room, gym, and plenty of underground parking. The EV charging stations and self-service car wash are also a huge plus, making things incredibly convenient. The staff's service attitude is also excellent, especially the slightly taller lady at the front desk whose service was truly exceptional. She came to my room to pick up my laundry and even delivered it back in the early hours of the morning. To avoid disturbing my rest, she thoughtfully hung it on the doorknob. Such attention to detail was truly impressive. Dining options downstairs are also very convenient, with a variety of restaurants catering to different tastes. The hotel also provides a breakfast with a wide variety of options. Most importantly, the rooms themselves are clean and comfortable. Overall, I'd say it's one of the best value-for-money hotels near Fuzhou South Station.

GGuest UserI've stayed in five star hotels around the world, and this was among the best if not the best. And certainly in terms of price/performance, it could not be beat. We paid HK$1200 (about US$150) for a 45 sq meters room with balcony. Things got off to a good start when they upgraded us to a villa which would have been perhaps 30% more expensive had we selected that....still an amazing deal. The room was pure luxury, with every amenity you could want. No cutting corners in this hotel, everything was top quality, right down to the little fountain in the courtyard of our villa.
All the staff were very helpful and professional. I don't speak Mandarin, so my wife was in charge of communication and had no complaints at all. Some of the staff spoke English, but certainly not all of them, so a translation app might be useful. Our villa was a 20 minute walk from the restaurant and reception, so we had to call for a buggy ride, but never had to wait more than a few minutes.
The breakfast buffet is huge and caters to both Chinese and western tastes with lots of fruit and vegetables available. The baguette was outstanding even for a western five star -- to find this quality bread in a Chinese hotel was very surprising.
The swimming pool and the gym looked great, but after a full day in the park, both of us were too tired to take advantage of either.
The hotel is 20 minutes walk away from the main bus station within the National Park. On the first day you need to take a ten minute taxi ride to the South Entrance to buy your ticket. After that you can ask the front desk for directions to the Wuyi Palace bus stop which will save you time -- or take a taxi there which will save you even more time.
AAprilblossomsGreat hotel with exceptional services.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. During our stay, we received remarkable services from the hotel staff beginning with the young Bellboy who greeted us on the day we arrived and thereafter. The front desk staff are friendly and professional; check-in was quick and easy, and especially Charis, who had patiently answered many questions that we had for Xiamen. We appreciated Lia, who helped us to get taxi by using her own phone with the local DiDi program and makes sure the taxi driver knows our destination. We also appreciated Alice from the dining room, who to cut and packed the fruits we brought from the market on the day we checked out. Last but not least was cleaned daily. We felt great when we saw a note from the housekeeper and found towels folded 🐘 on our bed one day and a swan on the next day.
BBosomprah”The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect for a walk around the city centre.and I will recommend it for everyone…
AAnja 安雅Lovely resort very out in the green, whilst close to Wuyigong palace, all peaks (Tianyoufeng, Dawangfeng, Shuilian Cave) as well as Duiia Qu for food. You can basically walk everywhere if you have enough time. The room was spacious and clean, the service was excellent, there is also a small travel agency that can take you for tea tasting and seeing how they grow and produce tea in Wuyishan. Breakfast was good, rather Chinese though. Receptionists were lovely and helpful, as well as room service. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.
JJiandanThe hotel's location is fantastic, with an abundance of dining options nearby, which was incredibly convenient. We were also pleasantly surprised to stumble upon a folk performance at the adjacent Intangible Cultural Heritage Music Plaza. The room key card was charmingly unique. Our room itself was well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and boasted a lovely view. Both the front desk staff and the doormen were consistently proactive and welcoming. They even offered a 'Zanha' (hairpin flower) experience.
The only minor drawback was a rather late check-in, though this was likely due to it being a busy summer weekend.
However, the most disappointing aspect was the utterly terrible attitude of one particular staff member working at the lobby bar. When I politely approached her to inquire about seating, she completely ignored me, not even bothering to look up. This unpleasant encounter regrettably cast a shadow over an otherwise delightful stay, ending it on a sour note.

VVlimOutstanding Stay – Perfect for Family and Friends!
We had a wonderful experience at Langham Place Xiamen hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was very spacious, featuring a comfortable king-size bed and a great selection of pillows to choose from.
The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of options to suit everyone’s taste. The hotel’s location is also fantastic, conveniently near a large mall and surrounded by plenty of great eateries.
Overall, an outstanding hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back !
